3rd of January, 24 CLE
Winter was a beautiful time... or that's how at least Mira saw it, she didn't know much about others, and it didn't matter to her. Every day was a new adventure, it didn't matter if others didn't share her views, she was happy just to hop along herself, enjoying the feeling of the wind on her skin. She hops through the playground, giggling constantly and looking as happy and worriless as always. This was going to be a fun day, she could just feel it. As long as Ms. Grumpypants wouldn't show up, as she called the other person that appeared when she got angry. She could never even remember what she did during that time...
She exits the playground as fast as she had entered, determined that there was something big gonna happen today, heading towards the City Hall with plans of getting to the gates and adventuring a bit outside the city. She was a big girl already, and it wasn't like they'd stop her, right?
A small black robed figure was making his way through the snow, his robes leaving a trail behind him that obscured his tracks. All around him he heard the sounds of cheer and joy, the yordle community so loud and happy, warm and affectionate. A cold breath shot from his lips unlike the living, Azazel's breath was as cold as ice and didn't make the steam clouds that soon vanished like anything else that breathed. Azazel despised it here to say the least, but it was the last place anyone from the Shadow Isles would search for him.
His eyes, obscured by the hood at the moment, were ice-like cyan, they seemed to simply pierce through those they looked at as if gazing upon something beyond the flesh. Silky black fur covered his face giving him an odd contrast in the snowy winter of Bandle and it's colorful citizens.

Moving surprisingly quickly through the snow, Mira hops without care, barely looking at where she's going. She stumbles around the main square, constantly giggling as usual. She manages to fall over in the snow a couple of times, luckily wearing a thick winter outfit that stops her from being soaked by melting snow, though her cap seems to be missing, causing chunks of snow to stick out of her hair.
As she gets up, she shakes her head, constantly grinning with a smile that is a mix of innocence, and something sinister. She then starts running around faster, ending up stumbling again over something beneath the snow, tumbling into a small figure in a black robe...
Lost in his own thoughts the small black yordle wasn't aware of much around him. His eyes half closed as they looked to the ground, until a sudden force smacked into him sending him sprawling into the snow. A hiss of annoyance escaped his lips, sounding like a serpent as he looked to whomever had knocked him over, the cyan eyes flared bright as magic prepared to surge through the small form only to realize where he was, what he was doing and now what he was looking at. Azazel stood from the snow patting off the loose snow the best he could while glaring at the girl, "What are you doing?" He growled quietly hoping no one had seen the flare of magic in his eyes.
As far as anyone within the village knew, Azazel was simply a reclusive yordle that had returned recently from exploring the world with knowledge of the Shadow Isles and was using it to help defend the city. Almost always declining invitations to parties and gathers, suspicious as he was, he never seemed to be doing anything malevolent.

Mira's expression seems to shift between anger and laughter as she stands up again, her darker personality struggling to get control, but seemingly somehow failing to. As Mira continues giggling and smiling like an innocent little girl, she sweeps the snow away from her outfit and hair, tilting her head at the dark yordle in front of her.
Whaaaat? I just tripped on somethiiiiing. Tihihiih. It's not like I can see beneath the snow, now can I hmmmmm?
She then spins around quickly and falls down again, laughing constantly. She would seem either completely insane, or very child-like to those around, but most of the people in Bandle City were used to seeing her hop around by now and didn't seem to mind much. She quickly scampers to her feet again and her smile turns somewhat darker.
Or can I? Tihihihi. Maybe I see more than anyone knows... teehee... how about yoooooou?
Azazel closed his eyes and let out a soft sigh of what could only be explained as despair as he was stuck in the hyper girl's vicinity. She was the complete opposite in what he sought after for company, and completely mental to boot. He was about to tell her to go away until he saw her stand, the dark smile coming to her lips causing Azazel to pause.
The slightest of smirks tugged on Azazel's furry expression, he allowed the cold cyan of his eyes to flare with magic causing a brief flicker of cyan spiritfire to ignite before disappearing just as fast as it had appeared, "I see many things girl, I, know, many things." he spoke with a sinister tone intended to frighten the girl away.

Mira keeps grinning in a rather dark fashion at the dark yordle, her giggling seeming to have ceased for now. She didn't seem scared at all, but instead some mix of excitement and intrigue, which is rather unlike her usual self.
Is that soooo? What is it that you see then darling?
She spins around again, her laughter more sinister than before as she faces the other yordle again, standing in a more confident, if not even seductive pose. Her hair was slowly getting more messy, the snow that was left in the hair melting and making it stick to the sides of her face.
Anything... interesting? Bandle can be oh-so-dull sometimes.
Seeing that she hadn't been discouraged Azazel smirked, amused by the darker side of the yordle. He hadn't seen anything like it in the yordle community. He knew that yordles were prone to insanity if left secluded, the summoner-knight wondered if that was the case for this girl. Deciding to see how she would react, he raised a black furry paw, the magic flaring in his eyes once more to cause a slight wispy cyan mist to seep from his irises. Thick pillars of black smoke rose from the snow, enveloping the paw in black magic, "Many, many interesting things."
A sinister grin spread on his lips, "Have you seen a soul torn apart piece by piece while the host writhes in anguish? Slowly shattering the mind and rending the flesh of someone who dared to stand against you? Lakes of crimson streaming from their skin as they cling desperately to life and beg to be spared, even offering their loved ones in sacrifice."

Mira laughs a bit again, raising an eyebrow at Azazel. This was getting amusing to her, or at least this side of her. While this was interesting and could be possibly a fruitful meeting, she knew that the other side of her wouldn't probably remember a thing, and if she found out, she would probably freak out and be scared and all that.
No, I haven't. But I've seen some stuff too, not as gruesome as your ones, but... it's still something. The priceless expression on the face of a bully when they find about lil' old me, in the head of the innocent little girl who usually runs around...
She shakes her head a bit, her hair getting even more messy and mixed up. She'd probably have to fix that later on... if she was still in control. The oh-so-innocent child would probably not even care and keep rolling in the snow. She looks at the dark yordle in front of her, keeping her sinister grin, her look a mix of intrigue and something sinister.
The name's Mira. Both of us up in here. Who might you be? I've not seen you around before... but then again, I get to play way too little. This place is too darn nice to give me times to take over...
The summoner clenched his fist causing the flux of magic to dissipate into the air. He was becoming more and more intrigued by the mental yordle as they talked, "You can call me Azazel."
A split personality? he hadn't seen something like this in some time. Even then it was from afar and he hadn't bothered to think on it for long. Part of him wanted to see just how sadistic this other personality of hers was, "I only recently came to Bandle and keep to myself." He smirked, tempted to inform her he was undead and from the Shadow Isles themselves.

Figures... there aren't many people as blunt as you here... let alone ones with such.... intriguing knowledge. So here I wallow... within the head of a childish lunatic.
Mira shakes her head, sighing slightly. It had been a while since she had been able to be in control for this long, usually the childish side regained control within moments. Perhaps that annoying lunatic saw something in this Azazel... something that scared it away until it was safe to return.
Why are you in Bandle City anyway? This damn town is just about the opposite of what you seem to like... instead of shattering minds and tearing souls apart, you see camaraderie and annoying amounts of... good spirit, bah. No wonder that I sit in the back of this head for most of the time hmm? Trying to deal with these overly friendly idiots is.... something that the childish lunatic does better...
"Why am I here and putting up with all, this?" A sinister knowing smirk played on the black yordle's face, "It's all part of a greater game. One can't simply walk around breaking minds and tearing souls, it tends to attract the wrong kinds of attention..." His eyes narrow slightly, "At the moment that is."
"When you want power... sometimes you have to burn the world and be content with ruling the ashes." He let out a cold, dark chuckle.

Some places would deserve to be burnt to ashes...
Mira glances around. It was a wonder the damn yordles haven't noticed the conversation by now, they were always barging in to conversations, even when they were obviously private.
You know, I think you managed to scare the... other Mira. Hah. I usually don't have this amount of time... it's a pain being stuck behind something that foolish. You wouldn't know some power that'd let me take over more often, would you darling?
She smiles in a slightly warmer, yet sinister fashion, pondering if this Azazel could be of use to her.
Azazel didn't make any notion to agree with the girl, yet there was a glimmer of amusement in the ice cold blue of his eyes. A quiet liking for the girl began to smoulder within Azazel, very few times in his undead life this had occurred. Only recently being with Elise, where ever she was now, but she was part of a game elsewhere and if she was a queen or pawn had yet to be established.
"Power?" he questioned and raised an eyebrow ever so slightly, "Sheer force of will perhaps?" He paused, "Or shatter her mind yet leave yours intact." he offered with a cruel smile.

Mira chuckles and shakes her head, not agreeing with the some of the ways suggested by the dark yordle.
If only it was that simple, for some damned reason, I am stuck behind the child unless she's frightened... as you apparently did to her. And breaking her mind would not necessarily be the best... it's good to have an innocent child of a mind sometimes to fool those who'd think me to not be a thing to worry about.
She grins wickedly for a moment before turning her look into that of an innocent looking child, as if the other personality had taken over again.
See? You can't say this won't fool the little idiots around here, now can you?
