The day was met by the long journey for Belle. The trip to the Institute was uneventful and offered only some insight as to how things worked. Something she would have to grow use to being recently appointed Head of her Noble House. The young De'Vera Head brushed long, slender fingers elegantly through her silky locks of hair as they curled ever so loosely about her face. Teal colored eyes peered out the curtain of her coach as it was drawn by a set of Clydesdale horses and driven by a single man in his 40s.
Across from her within the lavish carrier sat a single woman in her late 30s, dressed considerably different then the Noble woman indicating her status as a servant. Still, the kind smile Belle gave her offered the woman a reassurance that her company was welcome no matter their different standings in society.
Ahead of the group was a sole horse and rider wearing armor and wielding a single sword. He stood with dignity and confidence that suggested he'd been trained specifically for the protection of Belle, and her parents.
"Miss." The servant asked in a quiet tone, "Do you require anything?"
"Hm?" Belle said as her fingers curled against the curtain to pull it back, exposing the soft light of the world outside with fascination and curiosity. Her lips tugged into a light smile, drawing her hand away to regard the servant, "Oh, no thank you Maria. If you wish for us to stop so you might take a rest, I have no objections."
"Oh, thank you Miss but I'm quite alright." Maria responded with a light bow of her head.
There were few clouds in the sky, but it gave a gray sense as dusk starting to drown out the sunlight on the western horizon. Belle could recall many times she'd sat in her home, watching the sun rise and fall and dreaming of seeing the world. But she had lived a sheltered life. All she knew, she read in books. She wanted to know what was really out there. To see all the creatures that walked Runeterra.
A sudden bump caused the coach to rock, forcing Maria and Belle tumbling to one side slightly. They looked bewildered at each other, before Maria hurriedly checked to ensure Belle was alright.
"Are you hurt, Ma'am?" She questioned. "No, I'm alright. Are you injured, Maria?" Belle asked in reply. "No, but thank you for your concern Ma'am."
The sound of the horse walking around the coach caused Belle to lean over and peek through the curtains, curious to see what was going on. A small sugar glider perked up from behind Belle and scrambled to her shoulder to settle there, peering out just the same. It'd chitter its teeth and tilt its head causing Belle to gently rub its little head comfortingly.
"A body?" The man atop the coach said with a growing frown, "The 'ell is a body doin' 'ere?" He questioned with a slight scowl. "It seems to have been.. eaten." The armored man said as he climbed off his horse to examine it. "We shouldn't linger long. Let's go before whatever did this shows up again."

'These human's are so predictable, why eat all of one meal when you can leave half of it the road and more will eventually show up to investigate.' Slowly shifting his body to the side Kha'Zix watched the convoy come to a stop in front of a body. His yellow eyes staring coldly as the guard moved towards the coach. 'Time to reposition.'
Giving a quick check that the driver's gaze was still fixated on the corpse Kha'Zix moved out from behind the tree, wings and body low to remain unseen, each step perfectly taken to avoid making a noise as it pressed down on the soil. Just as the guard turned to head back to the corpse the reaver made it to his location, the area had thicker undergrowth but more importantly less trees up above. 'Death from above.' he thought to himself, his wings twitching somewhat at his own words.
Remaining perfectly still he still stared at his prey, the guard he was heading towards the corpse. It wasn't far from the the coach but to the reaver it was far enough, in the back of his mind it called out him like a 6th sense 'Isolated.' The moment the guard turned back to the coach the Reaver made his move. His legs pressing hard against the soil, elongating themselves to their full length while at the same time his wings beated furiously to carry him higher still. Such explosion of energy caused him to let out a roar, for even such a short time in flight caused his wings to cry out from exhaustion. As he sailed upwards he also brought his claws to bear now glowing a vibrant purple colour, charged with void energy, he held them out in front pointing downwards ready to strike.
Reaching the apex of his flight Kha'Zix's wings had stopped beating, now holding out as wide as he could they acted like an air break, slowing the upper part of his body just enough so that he could bring his legs forwards as he descended on the guard, who had now turned to face his death, arm reaching across his torso to grab his sword, he was too slow. the voidreaver's talons clung onto his lower body, the force of the collision taking the man clean of his feet, landing sending him onto his back as the talons continued tightening their grip and with one swift motion the Kha'Zix's claws were brought down heavily on his chest, piercing his armour, braking bones and impaling the the man against the soil, all the while emitting a terrifyingly unnatural sound as the claw's energy discharged themselves. Shocking the fatal wounded guard's muscles, causing them to feel heavy and fatigued.

It was so instant that Belle and no others would expect it. Except the guard, who was in fact well trained to handle these situations. But compared to Kha'zix' raw power, there was no stopping the assault. The horse would startle and rear back before rushing off in a hurry causing the coach to do much the same. The driver fell off as chaos exploded around the group and right next to Kha'zix as he violently murdered the guard.
"..M'lady~" The driver stared as the coach rushed off away from the scene leaving him, and the now deceased guard at the mercy of Kha'zix.
Within the coach, Maria clung to the sides while Belle stared out the window at the scenery rushing by. She'd slowly start to open the door, realizing she had to take matters into her own hands, "Maria, stay here." She said, her tone firming to reinforce the order to her servant. Belle grasped the door frame of the coach as it rocked violently from the panicked horses, pushing the door open nearly falling from the coach as she did so. She'd cry out lightly in surprise as she grabbed the top of the door, reluctantly pulling herself out further to glance over the top towards where she expected the driver to be.
With his absence realized, Belle would begin to slowly climb her way around nearly losing her grip more than a few times. Maria, still within the coach, cried out every time she saw the Noble slip, looking increasingly panicked, "M'lady! Please!" She begged.
"I must! There's no driver controlling the coach." She called back.
"Wh-what!? M'lady! It's too dangerous!"
Belle ignored the worried pleads from Maria as she grabbed onto the edges of the driver's seat and slowly climbed her way up top. She had never driven a coach before, but quickly assumed that pulling back and steering them as she was taught when riding them, would likely be the best course of action. She'd tug back on the reigns and click her tongue against her teeth, "Whoa." Trying to calm their nerves.
As the horses calmed, the Noble woman began to turn them around to head back. She hadn't seen what had happened as the horses spooked the moment Kha'zix had pounced making it impossible for her to have witnessed the events. Maria would slowly lean out as Belle drove the coach back towards the scene.

Pushing away the guard with his legs Kha'Zix's claws would be yanked away from his chest, bringing forth two lines of blood being flicked away from the corpse as the reaver brought his claws to his sides. Turning to the coach he watched it blankly go of down the road. 'If they call for help it will only bring more lives to feast on.'
More importantly was the driver that had fallen. So far he hadn't even tried to run, not that it would do him any good. Moving a shoulder into position a spike quivered in its rack beforebeing fired of towards the helpless man. At the same time the reaver would let out a menacing hiss, for firing a spike required a lot of energy.
If the driver didn't move out the way quick enough the spike would explode on contact taking with it a large gouge of flesh.

The poor driver would have no luck escaping the spike as it embedded itself through him and exploded leaving a gaping hole in his back which would paralyze if not kill him outright. Either way, his scream would be all Belle would hear as she neared the scene and saw Kha'zix.
Maria had poked her head out as they neared where last they saw the two men. The servant letting out a horrified scream with Belle slowing her horses in shock. What.... what is that? She thought, glancing only briefly down to Maria as she leaned out, "Maria, get back in he carriage!" She called down to her servant. She'd force her focus back forward towards the monster ahead, and snapped the reigns to send the horses charging faster towards it. She couldn't think straight. Everything within her was screaming to run, but her heart couldn't let her just leave the two men. Dead or alive, she had to do something! She gripped the leather straps tightly as she drove the coach at full speed straight towards Kha'zix with every intention of running him over with the Clydesdale horses and the carriage, fully intent on killing him. She didn't know who, or what it was. She just knew it attacked people she cared about.

Kha'Zix was quite surprised to see the carriage return so quickly, being driven by a fine lady no less. When at first the carriage seemed to slow Kha'Zix stood his ground standing tall claws idly by his sides. 'What is she...' his thoughts were cut short as the noble sent her horse's into a charge. Ducking low once more claws facing sideways, ready to strike he stared coldly at the charge, his only movement being the slight rise and fall of his body as he he continued to breath calmly. The horses continued to charge, the clattering of hooves against the road growing louder and louder as they approached but he did not move. As the horse was a mere three meters away the Voidreaver made his move, every fibre of his carapace burned as otherworldly energy passed through his shell and in a flash of purple light and an unnatural sound that could be described as something leaving the Voidreaver disappeared from view.
The sudden burst of energy was always so exhilarating for Kha'Zix he had turned completely invisible, his legs moving so fast that it made the charging coach look slow he dived out of the way. As the horse's past him, he brought both arms up, claws facing the side of the approaching carriage before slamming them into the side as hard as he could. He aimed to latch onto the side of the carriage, if successful he would be swept cleanly of his feet and become immediately visible again.

As the creature vanished, Belle looked puzzled with her gaze searching about rapidly. She'd start to slow the carriage after passing over where last she had seen Kha'zix, only to hear the THUNK of claws digging into the side of the carriage and the scream of Maria from inside. Belle paled as she leaned over slightly only to find him clinging to the side of the carriage, letting out a startled scream. She'd pick up speed again as she started to pass by several trees, each getting closer to the side where Kha'zix clung. Clearly her intention was to knock him off by practically side-swiping a tree.

His feet finding themselves clinging onto the wood work Kha'Zix began hacking the side of the carriage with one of his claws, trying to reach the servant, that is until a tree collided with his wing casing, sending the shell painfully into his wing and almost dragging him of the side. Digging his claws into the side of carriage he repositioned his talons, allowing him to better see ahead, narrowly managing to move his head out of the way of another tree. Growling in annoyance he once again disappeared in a flash of purple light. This time using the brief burst of energy to scurry up the side of the carriage. Once reaching the top he positioned himself on the centre of the carriage legs spread out to give better stability, claws held sideways, wobbling slightly to maintain balance. As he reappeared he addressed the noble, his voice harsh and cold. "I will devour your bones." If Marabella turned round she would see the Voidreaver slowly making his way towards her, the wind blowing through his fur and pulling back his antennae, his carapace had shifted back to his 'natural' dark blue/purple colour.

Belle thought for a moment she had lost the creature when it disappeared. Maria on the other hand, was having a fit of screams within the carriage, "M'lady!" She called, "Save yourself!" Belle didn't have the heart to abandon her servant and friend as she turned to speak back, "It's alright, Maria. We--" Her skin paled as teal eyes met the visage of Kha'zix staring down at her. A chill rushed up her spine, feeling her hands loosen on the reigns, "..M-Maria.." she whispered. She had no where to go as the horses continued to speed down the road, turning and shifting the carriage in the wild ride. She had lost control of them by this point with fear overwhelming her beautiful features. She couldn't move; frozen in place as she stared death in the face.

This carriage is getting more unstable, swinging his left arm around to swipe the helpless noble, if she could move quick enough she would avoid being hit with quite some force by the back of his arm.
Then reaching round with his claws he tried to pick her up, similar to how a praying mantis would its prey. At first the Voidreaver didn't know why he did that. She was defenceless, and he doesn't need to conserve his food he just eats. Not know, that's not good enough he used to eat then change, he would become stronger quicker smarter. Now he just eats, all that's left is Rengar but he still needs to wait for the Pridestalker's inevitable mistake. He looked down at the women, he hadn't seen a human dress like this before, not even the summoners dressed in way that suggests they want to be seen.
As the thoughts crossed the VoidReaver's mind it distracted him. Leaping of the carriage onto the road he would begin to wander into the forest, completely ignoring the corpses he had left further down the road.

Maria within the carriage would scream as she heard the creature stalk atop the roof. "M'lady!" She cried out.
Belle stared up at the monster that stood over her, loomed like a predator and left her defenseless in her fear. As his claws gripped around her, cutting into her skin and lifted her, she'd let out a cry of pain feeling herself lifted off the seat. Her eyes wide, "No! Let me -- GO!" She was completely at the beasts mercy as it leapt off the carriage and carried her off with it.
Maria within the coach watched, her eyes wide with tears streaming down her cheeks, "M'LADY! NO!!" Watching as the two faded off into the woods. Maria could do nothing.
The horses would race back to where they knew was safest - Demacia. The palace in particular. They'd race for their lives, wearing themselves down as they hastily closed the distance to it. It would be morning before they would arrive to the city gates. The guards alerted by the frantic servant who barely crawled her way out with tears staining her cheeks and horror blaring in her eyes.
"She-she was taken!" She calls frantically, "A monster took her! Countess De'Vera has been kidnapped!"
