January 15, 24 CLE Vladimir approaches the home of Marcy Lee. The thin mountain air settles across the lands in small winds, cold and bitter. A white fur coat covers his figure, bolstering against this frigid night as he steps across the dimly lit walkway up to the door.
The house before him is large, spacious and rather ornate. Even if it may not compare to the baroque estate Vladimir lives in (subconsciously he rubs his right hand over his left, feeling for his crest ring bearing a three-headed serpent), the home of the vampiress defines her as evidently well-to-do. Surely nothing to scoff at....
Paying no attention to the heavy door knocker, the hemomancer raps his knuckles across the wooden door then stands in the silence, awaiting his entrance.
Today had been a busy day for Marcy, of rather a busy night. She had been placing a few new orders so the stock in the bar wouldn't run out and then she had gone to talk to another club owner about her singing there.
Marcy had returned an hour or two before Vladimir arrived at her house, changing clothes into her dark red blouse and blue jeans. The Vampire sat down in the kitcheb and began to read a book she had started but never finished and sipped on a glass of wine.
When the knocking on the door reached her ears she left the kitchen with the glass of wine in hand. The vampiress opened the door and smiled when she recognized the man in front of her. Stepping aside she motioned for him to step in. "Welcome Vladimir, come in." Marcy would then close the door after Vladimir had walked in.

"Good evening, Madam. Quite a frigid night, is it not?" Vladimir responds, a harmless smile curved under his gentle stare. He walks through the door, considerate of her offer.
"Is your...brother here as well? If I'm not mistaken I remember you mentioning him. There's certainly a few things I'd like to discuss with you now that we have time and I believe he might be interested in what I've to say..." He trails, casually moving from the entrance a few steps, peering around his surroundings.
"But of course, if he isn't here, I understand...I trust you in relaying the message."
"Quite cold indeed. I am afraid that my brother is not in this evening." Marcy took a sip from her wine and motioned down the hall into the living room. The room was quite large and held three couches close to a table in the middle of the room. Along the walls there stood a few bookcases filled with different books, most of them had a small red note on them to mark which one she had read or not.
"Please, take a seat. I will join you shortly, I assume you drink wine? Otherwise we have blood too." The vampiress said with a smile.

"Yes, wine would be delightful." Vladimir nods. He proceeds over to the various bookshelves, idly perusing the rows of literature. Every so often he taps a finger across the spine of one or pulls another from it's receded hiding, turning it over once or twice, maybe even opening the cover before returning it.
"As for your brother, no matter. I'm sure I'll get everything I need from this visit, although depending on how this turns out, I may desire to speak with him eventually...." He continues, now leaning against the back of the couch, his arms crossed over the fluffy coat. his white hair mingled with the stark snow colored fur. "May I sit?"
Marcy left for the kitchen and grabbed another glass, filling it with some red wine she refilled hers as well. Moving back into the living room with a smile as Vladimir asked if he was allowed to sit. "Go ahead."
The Vampiress sat down in the opposite couch and put his wine glass on the table closer to Vladimir before she took another sip from her wine glass. "Now, I did promise you an explanation of what my brother and I am." She shifted around a little in the couch and waited for Vladimir to sit down before she'd say anything else.
"My brother and I are not your typical vampire, we are born Vampires. My mother and my father were both Vampires. Now, this makes my brother and I alive, unlike normal Vampires who can be classified as dead or undead. We grew up like most humans did, except for the weakness to sunlight and need for blood every two days.
A born Vampire is different from a Created one, we do not inherit the powers of our parents and we are typically more fragile during our younger years. We however, at least my brother and I, don't kill for fun. The only time my brother kills is when he's out on a job, when he has done the job he takes his time in recovering the fluid off life that we require to live." Marcy took a sip from her wine and let everything sink in before she spoke again. "Now, as I said we do not kill for fun, not all Vampires do, and it's something I want to do something about. The prejudice that my brother and I have been facing is... abnormal almost. We wish to prove that not all Vampires are bloodthirsty, mindless killers."

He sits as allowed before his hostess.
Vladimir nods in accordance to what the vamipiress details to him. To him, it sounds rather disheartening to hear of wasted potential of agile fiends like the vampire submitting to the rather impudent and bothersome rule of the powers that be, especially in relation to the misgiving behaviors of the common people, audacious enough to shun and scorn their sanguinary predators. Even insulting to hear such weak filth. The Hemomancer, though, abstains from the idea of corrupting his body to the point of becoming a sun-wary blood drinker....
Before he responds, he takes a sip from the glass, really tasting it to show appreciation to the hostess.
"I'd imagine life growing up wouldn't be easy for either of you..." Vladimir begins, slightly ironic considering the years he spent alone in brutal training under the instruction of his old master, Dimitri. At the least, the two vampires had the benefits of common living, but he chooses to stay silent to this comparison. "But, why? Of course you're not mindless, bloodthirsty killers. I mean, I'm not a mindless bloodthirsty killer, am I?"
He smiles wryly at the last part before taking another swish of wine and setting the glass down on the nearest table. "Though I suppose I'm not a vampire. That doesn't mean you have to play to their superstitious tunes, dear. Why hold your tongue and teeth when you could so easily reap your fill from the populace? Why lay down to their insolent behavior? They're weak! You're not. I'm not saying...massacre everything you see, but why restrain yourself? It sounds as though you bind yourself down and deny your heritage, rather that embrace it..."
Marcy looked at him and listened to the hemomancer's words. Why was he trying to get her into becoming what she was trying to show that she wasn't?
"Hemomancer... I'm afraid that you do not know what you speak about to its full extent. I'm not hiding my heritage, far from it, I'm not afraid of letting people know what I am. But what I am is not a power hungry vampire. I'm just trying to have a place where I can feel at home, and Noxus have proven to be that place." She replied and tilted her head and sipped her wine.
"Now, why don't we drop this and talk about something more... interesting, for example... Hemomancy." She suggested and finished her wine glass.

Vladimir takes another sip from his wine, then sets it down on a nearby table.
"Come now. You don't really think they'll ever fully accept a vampire into this degenerative society, do you? There will always be gossipers...impertinent whelps to scorn you, simply for the fact you exist. Perhaps they'll pretend to tolerate vampirism. That is until they have more strength to back their eradication, especially with the increase of the Night Hunters activity. They see you as a blasphemy unto nature. I offer you and your brother a pact, between us. A coven of blood-letters. And I do not doubt your strength, but even so, an ally such as myself can be a very powerful aid." He continues, still interested in her evident humanitarian beliefs in such a boorish society.
"But, you ask about Hemomancy, my craft of course....What is it you desire to know?" Vladimir's expression becomes appropriately inquisitive, an eyebrow perched over the gleaming white eye.
The Hemomancer's words about how she should show her strength was ignored by the vampire. How could a simple human understand? That was something she didn't understand, humans always acted like they were immortal, especially those with some power. Now she didn't doubt that the Hemomancer wasn't powerful, quite the opposite actually, she was quite intrigued by it.
"Now now, calling Hemomancy strictly your craft would be a bit... egoistic, don't you think? Sure it's a dying skill, but it's a very useful one. I was taught a bit of hemomancy by my dead parents, sure I've trained some of my own but it's fallen of my important things to do list now that I have the bar.
My question is, would you be interested in teaching this Vampire more hemomancy? I believe you are one of the last Hemomancer masters on this plane and I'd like to learn some before it's gone for good."
