Relationships:
The Final Truth: Rudmed is the grand-master of this order, which is dedicated to dealing punishment out to those who the law cannot touch. Often in less than honorable methods, but to them it matters not….as long as the sinner is dead. Of course they do not deal with petty thieves and the like, but rather the more prominent sinners. However, their methods have gotten them much hatred from the more lawful societies.
Their fault is that they treat everything in almost black and white. If you commit a great sin, and get away with it. Members of The Final Truth will find out ,and they will find you. Speaking of members the order’s exact numbers are not known, but some speculate it is around three-hundred or so men and women.
Examples of targets of interest: Shaco, Swain, Riven, Singed, Sion, Urgot, and Zed.
Description:
Rudmed is often seen as an intimidating, serious, and determined individual. These traits are present, but only when he is hunting sinners. Otherwise he is actually quite friendly, but will rarely make a move to approach and introduce himself to others. They could lead to complications of his righteous mission, and he would rather not see people get hurt. Furthermore, they less people that know him for the better…less people begin to question what his intentions were.
He has light brown hair, which if he grows out will begin to curl like no other. He has large dark brown eyes as well. It is often short and straight this way he does not have to deal with the curls. However, his hat does tend to conceal most of his facial features. As for clothing he mostly wears leather armor that is reinforced by metal plating.
Piercing Retribution: Rudmed’s holy saber that he uses in combat. It was obviously used by someone of noble blood due to the many carefully carved designs within the blade. It is sharp enough to go through all, but the hardiest of medium armors. However, if the blade were to strike a less armored joint or area, it would pierce it with great ease. The saber can be used to cut, but any slashing attacks are notably less effective than piercing attacks.
Glorious Execution: The six shot revolver that Rudmed carries around that is mostly used for the execution of his targets.
Biography:
Rudmed was born to a family that did well enough. His father worked for a very powerful political figure, while his mother ran the local library, the place where Rudmed was most often found. He would often be found reading, or training with a blade, as his father was insistent on such training. Regardless, he did as he was told. Life was good at this point in life…..however at the age of 16 things changed drastically.
Guards busted into the library where Rudmed and his mother were at. They had orders to arrest the two for involvement in a scandal. Rudmed managed to escape as his mother struggled with the guards. It seems the very town turned against him as every civilian directed the guards toward him. He barely escaped the town, and fled into the nearby woods. It was here he finally got a chance to rest and gather his thoughts. Of course he did not have any clues as to why the guards were after him…he would have to investigate. He returned back to his home, sneaking past any of the local guards, and managed to make his way into his father’s study.
Here Rudmed found his father’s journal, where he soon discovered that his father had simply been at the wrong place at the wrong time. He was caught witnessing an underhanded deal between his boss and a local criminal. His father took the fall for the politician, and no one would believe his father’s story.
After learning the truth Rudmed’s first instinct was to free his family, but he lacked the skill to do so. He could not simply fight through the entire barracks to rescue his family. At this point his experience that would be suicide. So he decided to get help, but as he left…he learned there was to be an execution.
After witnessing that event Rudmed left on a pilgrimage. After 3 years of wandering he found himself at a temple, and he entered it seeking shelter froma terrible blizzard. He soon found a library, and a history of the order that held the temple. They were known as the Final Truth, but they had died out twenty years ago. Their goal was to deal with the evil that the law could not touch from the shadows. Rudmed liked the idea, and continued to search the temple until he stumbled upon the tomb of the founder. On top of the coffin there was a sword and pistol that seemed to call to him. Upon touching the sword warmness spread throughout his body, and so he believed he was led here to revive the lost order.
After joining the order…Rudmed returned to the village..with a vengeance. He returned to his home and sought revenge, which he soon achieved. The political figure was found dead with a bullet lodged in his skull. Evidence of the figure’s crimes was strewn all across the room. Someone had clearly been observing the figure, but this mysterious streak did not end with the death of that figure. No, they found a known criminal burning to death as well as all of the criminal’s merchandise as well.
To this day the village still speculates, who and why someone revealed these crimes. The village may never know that Rudmed served, what he calls justice that day. However, as the grandmaster of the Final Truth, Rudmed knows there remains many sins to be punished. And much more justice to be done!
