August 1st, 23 CLE
Garth entered the SHAPCA after Graves and Vi had been escorted out to a more suitable higher security prison for criminals such as themselves. Caitlyn's apprentice was still hesitant to call The Enforcer such a thing. She was one of his role models, granted she was not a role model to the extent that Caitlyn was, but she fought for the right things before the...incident. He shook his head, now was not the time to be thinking of such thoughts. Those were thoughts that he could sort out when he was on break, a fairly laid back patrol, or time at the desk when he was working on paperwork. Now he had to be strong, confident, and mindful of his duty as a Piltover Police officer. He would push his chest forward, and walk in confident strides while making his shoulders broader taking up more room to exude a sense of power. At least that is how Caitlyn taught him to be when dealing with criminals or suspects. Then again...maybe she thought he needed to build more confidence, which Garth knew he lacked. That may have been part of the reason he couldn't talk to girls. Oh well..thoughts for another time.
The detective in training would step into Andrei's view, and turn to face them. "Private Tosya, I am here to transport you to a different location where you will be held until you are needed at trial." The young man would remain brief and straight to the point, perhaps this assassin killer would appreciate such brevity. Regardless, Garth would only inform him of the benefits that his cooperation earned him once he was in a more private location. Preferably in the transport on the way to the location where he would be held.

Jail had been boring, it had always been boring, but this felt even more boring. Not only had the Outlaw and Vi been escorted out from the SHAPCA, but he had been left behind! Andrei had followed Vi for one reason, and that was to help her with that bitch Jinx. But no, the people of Piltover was as stupid and ignorant as ever, reminding him of why he hated Piltover in the first place and that coming here was a stupid idea.
The Officer that had questioned him the first time he had arrived at this place came back to him, glaring at him as he approaced the cell and spoke to him. "And where, are you taking me? Hm? Some fancy hotel?" Andrei chuckled and shook his head before laying back down onto the mattress.

"You will learn in time." Was all Garth said in reply to Andrei's question, with that he would gesture to a nearby officer who approached and unlocked Andrei's cell. The assassin killer would then be escorted out of the cramped area that made up SHAPCA to a vehicle with very few window. The door to the back seat would open, and both Garth and another officer would join him. It seemed like an normal car from Piltover, but the windows were only one way. Officers could look out, but people would not be able to look in. Granted, only those who paid attention to the car window would be able to notice this detail.
Caitlyn's apprentice sat in a seat across from Andrei, meeting the man's glare. This man most likely did not like him, and perhaps never would. Then again...did he know what it was like to have your city attacked and people you may know killed at any given moment? Perhaps, he was in the army after all. Regardless, now that they were in a more secure location so now he could give Andrei the details. The vehicle would rumble to life as it began to drive the group to wherever they were going. "You are being taken to a hotel where you will stay with police guards on duty to ensure you do not flee. The blue prints we confiscated from you, and your arm will be re-enabled soon. Your arm will be disabled if you fail to show up for parole, or attempt to flee from Piltover. If you do not cooperate and arrive at Vi's trial then you will be held in contempt of court, and then you will face jail time. Assuming you cooperate with us then your armor and weaponry will be returned after the trial is concluded." Caitlyn's apprentice would eye Andrei to see if he understood the conditions before verbally asking, "Are we clear?"

Andrei sighed and looked up into the cell ceiling from his bed. The sound of another guard walking into his Cell reached his ears, he sat up and was cuffed before he was told to follow. Walking through the SHAPCA was a bit boring, but anything that had to do with a prison was boring after all. Following the two officers out of the building he was blinded briefly by the sunlight before he was put down in the car.
Looking at Garth when he joined him he was going to ask about his equipment but got the question answered before it even left his tongue. The terms seemed nice, he'd be allowed to use his arm again and he'd get is schematics back. Nothing wrong with that, and then there was the trial.
"Sure, that sounds good enough." The Assassin replied, already thinking out different ways of breaking the deal and keeping his arm functioning. Yawning he looked out of the window, seeing the streets of Piltover pass by.

Garth leaned back against the seats once Andrei agreed. That was most certainly one thing out of the way, he would reactivate his arm and give him the blueprints back once they got to the hotel and he was secure. Granted, the concern of Andrei breaking out was always there, and if he did then....Garth would catch him. Granted, the young man would have assumed that Andrei would have been at least a little thankful, but apparently not. He could only speculate that killing people for a living hardens a person to any type of kindness or gift. The young man shivered at that thought as he looked out toward the city noting the damaged buildings and reconstruction process. Piltover wasn't the shining city it used to be, and it made him sad. His home was being destroyed ,and he had yet to catch the criminal...granted Caitlyn would probably not let him within two thousand feet of Jinx. However, this was all speculation at this point, and Garth would look back at the assassin hunter across from him.
"You know, you could be called in Vi's defense as a lay witness. Someone who could testify to the Vi you know and her actions in Zaun. Some may call it irrelevant, but I like to think that she didn't mean to. She was one of my role models, perhaps not my favorite one, but she was one of them." He would say, not really expecting a reply at all, but figured that he might as well make small talk.

Andrei looked back the recruit in front of him, he was certainly not from Piltover. There was a noticeable difference in Piltovians and Zaunites. Zaunites was usually a bit more cautious in their behavior, as they could be snatched off the streets at any time, while Piltovians where mostly calmer and felt more safe.
There was something about Garth that didn't feel right, his presence was the one of a Zaunite, a subtle feeling Andrei got from him.
"I don't have anything to add, I've already said what I know and why I am here. I am here to help Vi catch the psychotic criminal you have running around.
Now, you on the other hand, why are you here? You don't... how should I put it... You don't act like a Piltovian, you are cautious in the way you act, not to mention that eye of yours." Andrei leaned forward and put his arms on his knees.
"You're Zaunite, aren't you? It's no use in lying, I've ki-dispatched of enough Piltovians and Zaunites to know how they act normally, and being a Zaunite myself also helps.""

Garth's eyes turned away from the window when Andrei began to inquire about his purpose here, and the fact that Andrei knew he was a Zaunite. This caused the officer next to Andrei to give Garth a look, one that he had seen a few other times before when he was back in school. A look of distrust or dislike, though the officer's was a bit different from the others. It wasn't as bad as the other looks, rather there was still trust in the man's eyes, however he did take note of Garth's heritage. After all it takes a Zaunite to know a Zaunite. It was here that the young detective in training noticed that he did perceive a difference in attitude in a fellow police officer. Was this Caitlyn's training paying off, was he getting better at reading people? A soft but proud smile cross his lips as he came to this realization, however he had a professional conduct to maintain. The smile was gone as fast as it came. The young man began to cross his arms across his chest, when he realized what that would no doubt convey to the assassin before him. That body language would convey that Andrei had touched on a sensitive topic, and that he was closing himself off to Andrei, indicating that he subconsciously did not want to talk about. However, he would ponder whether or not to tell the truth.
As he pondered this, he began to tap his finger on the side of the car door. The finger was covered in the gauntlet of metal that made up his mana converter. Each tap made a soft dinging noise, and after the third tap he would finally answer Andrei. "Yes I am Zaunite by birth, let's simply say that Zaun's scientific philosophy and I did not see eye to eye." There was a dry chuckle at the ironic pun he had just made. Given the fact that his father had taken his normal eye and replaced it, giving him the augmented eye and a fresh scar to go along with it. Granted, he would allow his father to keep the eye if it meant that Garth could get his mother back. Heck, he still never knew what happened to her, besides the fact that she sacrificed herself to allow Garth to escape another mad scientist. Perhaps it was the same mad scientist that took some of his classmates when he was at school in Zaun. "My goal is to find a way to change Zaun, for the better, and I hope that I have found the answer here. Why do you care anyway? I'm a bad guy in your eyes, someone who has wrongly accused you. Why does it matter what I am doing here?"

Andrei looked at Garth as he spoke, he had guessed right, he was Zaunite. Shrugging when he said that he was a bad guy in Andrei's eyes, it wasn't entirely false but still Andrei thought that the 'Piltovian' could do what he dreamed about.
"Why it matters to me? Well, I'm a person who takes interest in people that I might get a target on." Andrei replied and looked back out the window, remaining silent for the rest of the trip, he didn't have that much to say.

So he was curious about him because he might get a bounty on his head, seems a little odd that he would kill someone trying to better Zaun. Then again he had picked up that greed was a driving force in a criminal's actions. "I'll be sure to keep that in mind then." Garth would reply before enjoying the rest if the ride to the hotel. There Andrei would be placed in a room and two guards would be assigned to ensure he would remain put. Hopefully that would take care of everything, thus with his job done Garth would return back to the police department happy to know that his duty was done.
