Kahn had volunteered to search for Riven and Akali in order to capture them and bring them to their execution. He was joined by a few fellow ninjas, but after an hour of traveling together the decision was made to split up and cover more ground. They were to seek out the tracks of The Exile or Fist of Shadow before they got too far. After all the Order of Shadows did not want to appear as an aggressor because that may cause issues in the future, issues that Zed would rather avoid. Kahn used his desire for "revenge" in join this search party. His motive was not questioned much by his peers, granted everyone had their own goals for joining the Order of Shadows. After the group split up he knew that this would be his best chance to get whatever intelligence he had gathered out to the Kinkou and the Ionian military no doubt. What they did with that information was of concern to him, Zed was no fool and would assume that there was a double agent among his disciples and would remove that parasite quickly.
That was a situation Kahn would rather avoid, unless he could conjure up some convincing evidence to pin it on someone else.
He was nearing the edge of the Order of Shadow's territory when he saw a glimpse movement up ahead. He naturally slowed down, and made his way up a tree to get a better vantage point. From there he caught a glimpse of armor and white hair. The Exile no doubt, unless some other intruder dared to enter the Order of Shadow's territory, in which case Kahn would dispose of him or her. He began to pursue this movement to wherever it may lead, once he was certain it was Riven, and that none of his "comrades" were around he would call out to The Exile of Noxus, "You are quite fortunate because I found you, Exile, if it were anyone else, you might find yourself captured again." He would climb down from the tree he had stopped in when he had called out to her. Granted, he would rather be dealing with Akali over Riven, but if this was his only opportunity then he had no choice, but to take it. He was unarmed, his blade was not drawn, nor did he assume any battle stance. However, his visible eye did watch Riven very carefully to make sure she did not try anything stupid. The Lotus Hunter had no doubt that she would not trust him, but then again that feeling was somewhat mutual.
"I'm outside your territory." Riven spoke frankly as she turned to face the man, hand near her blade but not on it, the wound on her back from Zed's attempt at her life still fairly fresh and painful. Akali had gone ahead to alert the others of a successful mission at the urging of Riven that she would be fine. However, the Fist had promised to return to see that Riven made it back to the new temple unharmed. She and the man had just a few minutes, knowing Akali's speed...
"Even wounded I could likely dispatch a lone ninja sent to track me down..." She frowned. "What is it you want, if not to capture me?"

((Sorry for the additional delay. A busy weekend, long assignments, as well as unexpected ones led to me scrambling to gather enough free time.))
A soft smirk could be seen from under his mask when Riven frowned. She had no idea that Akali had additional help in getting the Exile out of Zed's clutches. Well unless Riven decided to press him, then perhaps it would be for the best if he did not bring that information to light either. After all, the less information people knew, the less likely sensitive information could be overheard. He reached into one of his many pouches and drew out a piece of paper. In that slip of paper lies all the intelligence that he had gathered during his few months under cover at the Order of Shadow, information that may help the Ionian government and more importantly the Kinkou plan their next move better. After all it would be rather foolish to challenge Zed and Noxus without any reconnaissance, and from what the Lotus Hunter had gathered on the grapevine, the last group of scouts failed miserably. "No doubt, you came seeking information about Noxus and The Order of Shadows. In my hand, I hold information that you may find useful in your journey. This may include what Noxus has been doing on Ionian soil, and perhaps other valuable information that would allow you to earn friends in the Ionian government." He flipped the piece of paper to the other side, and rolled it through his fingers. His visible eye appraising Riven's face and actions searching for any signs of possible deceit. However, after a few moments he stopped moving the paper through his fingers.
"I guarantee you won't find this information from any other source." He would add in an attempt to strengthen his case a bit more, he wanted Riven to adhere to the conditions he would set in a few moments. After all he was not risking his limb, but his very life on their secrecy and her ability to keep the information to individuals she could trust. A gust of wind would gently blow through, its soft whisper cutting through any silence or pause that would occur between the two. "However, this information does come with a few conditions. Are you still interested in the information I possess, Exile?" The soft smirk he had from before grew into a much larger one. The arrogance he had suppressed for so long had begun to leak out, as he already knew what Riven's answer would be. In his mind he had made her an offer she could not refuse.
Granted, if she did refuse it then he would be more than surprised.

Well, all this was very unexpected, but certainly not unwelcome. Apparently her cause was not being fought alone, and in a war against a superior opponent, one took every advantage to gain ground. If the ninja spoke the truth, he could be handing her the single most important bit of information she had yet to uncover about what was going on in Ionia...
"I'm interested, of course." That was an understatement, but she wasn't going to miss out on an opportunity like this one. "But, what are the conditions?"

Kahn's smirk grew a bit wider as Riven accepted his terms, and he would begin to explain them as he began his approach. "As you may have concluded, my mission is deep behind enemy lines. The information on this slip of paper is unknown to everyone outside of the Order of Shadows territory. If this information were to be become public, then Zed would turn his eyes toward his disciples and execute the one who he discovered to have betrayed him. I have seen you, you are one who wishes to change Noxus and has tried to do so through speeches. The information I am about to entrust you with cannot come out in any of your speeches in public places. Individuals will question how you got such information, and then what I have previously mentioned will occur. The second condition is that you take this information in person to either Irelia or Shen. Give this information to them, and let them decide what to do with it. However, it must be in person to prevent it from being intercepted. Furthermore, all these conditions I have given to you, must be placed on them as well, lest the chances of my mission being compromised will increase." The Lotus Hunter would finally be close enough to hand her the slip of paper. His grip was still tight on the slip of paper, indicating he was not finished, and his visible eye held a deadly seriousness in it lending authority to what he was saying.
"Finally, if you are at risk of being captured dispose of the paper quickly and efficiently. If you are captured you do not know this information. Even if they do inexplicable things to you, this information must not pass your lips. My mission could be critical in determining whether the Kinkou and Ionia make it through the coming darkness." A brief pause to let it all sink in, before simply adding, "Understand?" Once she gave him a sign or reply that she acknowledged what he had just said, the grip of the paper would loosen allowing her to take it and read it.
If she read it then the following would be found on it:
Noxian Forces consist of a full battalion of one to three thousand men. These soldiers are receiving supplies and men are being exchanged, yet their numbers are not increasing. They have established a perimeter around the temple consisting of a moderately high fence or wall, and watchtowers. They are not constructing weapons or siege weapons at this time. Furthermore, they are honoring their agreement and have not stepped foot outside the Order of Shadow's territory. Around fifteen Noxians, that were handpicked by Zed, are learning the Shadow Arts and training with Zed's disciples. Word going around the troops consists of how they believe the other regions of Ionia are going to attack, and they consider this a serious possibility and threat. Furthermore, there has been news that Zaun is being militarized by Noxus.
The forces of the Order of Shadows are around 2,000 men and growing each day. Zed is training them daily, to ensure they become stronger. However, like the Noxians they also fear that the other regions will attack, but are not constructing any defenses or weapons. However, the group is hunting for what Zed has called a "mordicant pack". Only Zed has all of the details.
Riven would nod in understanding before taking and reading the information. The exact number and details of the Noxian and Order's forces was a welcome surprise, but what was even more revealing was the information regarding the militarization of Zaun by Noxus. Zaun was still connected to the League, and if they were being empowered by Noxus...what did that say about their future plans? She needed to get to the Placidium as soon as possible, and after her wounds were healed...
"I'll guard this information with my life. I promise you that. And, I will deliver it to the Guard Captain, and let her know what is going on here." Riven nodded in thanks and would move to continue out of the territory to return to the new Kinkou Temple. "And...thank you."
