Candidate: Ahri.
Date: 11 December, 21 CLE.
Observation
She was glamorous, elegant and beautiful. Despite the tales that circled around her, the foxlike lady managed to carry herself through the cold and withered halls with such grace. Her ballerina released a clacking echo in the air that surrounded her, bouncing off the walls of the hall before disappearing in thin air. Her expression was blank, doubtful and hungry for answers. Tails dangled behind her, waving left right, up down as she finally reached the massive door that stood as an obstacle in her way. Her golden eyes gazed at the intimidating object that was looking down on her, but she did not seem to be phased at all by the display. She had other things to fear, to be hidden from.
Her aureate gaze scanned the panel that read “The truest opponent lies within”. She remained silent, pondering the words that her eyes just
read, “I cannot deny such truth”, she softly murmured before she pushed the doors open.
Reflection
The air was suffocating, darkness lurked closer to the Vixen as the doors behind her closed and shut off all lights from her eyes. Shivers crept down her spine as the air around her froze, before a violent wind suddenly blew upon her figure. Light sparked from the darkness and Ahri found herself in the Ionian woods, resting underneath a tree to take shelter from the rain. By the luminosity of the sky, she could tell it was the afternoon, was she dreaming again? Was it all just part of the nightmares that were haunting her? Her spirit grumbled along with her mind, she was hungry, she needed something… something that is not physical, but ethereal. Souls, she was trying to suppress this desire but alas, she could not fight the monstrous animal instincts. Golden orbs shifted through the field of view, carefully looking for an unwary passerby.
A mysterious man suddenly appeared through the fog and the rain, wearing a hood over his head, covering his hair and his eyes from the outside viewers. Only his mouth could be seen along with the shadow cast upon his eyes by his hoody. A smirk drew upon the Fox’s rosy lips as she carefully watched the man who decided to take a break underneath another tree close by. Perhaps today was her lucky day? It looked like it indeed. Ahri wrapped her arms around her slender waist and used her tails as some sort of umbrella that would keep the rain away from her. She made her way to the loner and gazed at him with her charming eyes and innocent smile.
“Excuse me, are you lost?” She asked with the most sincere and innocent tune she could possibly use.
“Yes, I was supposed to head towards the docks to return to Noxus, but the storm made me lose my way and here I am waiting for it to leave.” The man answered with a genuine smile, his eyes admiring the beautiful forms and curves of the kitsune that stood before him with a slight of curiosity as he noticed her tails. “And you?” He asked.
“I am having the same problem as well,” she added before saying, “although I decided to take a break and carry on even though the rain does not stop.” A soft giggle escaped her lips as she sat down on a rock to avoid covering her dress with mud.
Strangely enough, the man felt comfortable around this strange woman. She seemed to be releasing an alluring aura that he, himself, did not notice at all, but it made him feel somehow attracted to her. A mischievous grin formed over his thin lips as he removed his hood and gazed at her golden orbs with his flickering frosted eyes. “Tell me strange lady, what is your name?”
“Ahri!” She answered with an enthusiastic voice.
“A lovely name for such a beautiful woman,” added the man, still holding the smirk on his lips as he inched closer to the Vixen. “It would be a shame not to see you again after I leave this beautiful island.”
A bright blush emerged on Ahri’s pale cheeks, a cutesy giggle escaped the grasp of her lips as she felt flattered by his compliment, knowing that her victim is slowly inching closer to her trap.
“Perhaps we should let this be a memorable moment then,” cooed the Fox as she pressed her lips against his ear, letting a soft purr roll out of her throat while her left hand gently held the man’s cheek. “Perhaps I could fill your desires?” The tone in her voice was alluring, forcing the man’s lust to build up in his mind as he wrapped his arms around her lovely waist.
“I would be more than glad if a woman such as yourself could help me with that, especially now that I am growing more fond of you m’lady.” The man tried to adopt a charming tune in his voice but it only sounded silly to Ahri’s ears who listened to his words as he attempted to kiss her. The fox slightly leaned back and pressed her fingers against his forehead, “Let us cut through the kissing,” she whispered with her suggestive voice. The man’s smirk grew wider as she leaned back against the tree and rested his head over his arms that he placed behind himself.
His energy was at its peak, Ahri could already savor the essence of his spirit that was leaking out of his body. It was so sweet, so delicious… she could feel her body growing satisfied as she began to sap his essence away, but something cut her off. Life didn’t seem to leave the man’s eyes and his grin continued to twist and twist… and twist into a demonic smile. A laughter rushed out of the man’s throat as several faces appeared around Ahri. These faces were all different, yet they shared something in common, they were her victims. All of them glared down at Ahri and let out screams of horror and pain before they suddenly vanished into the void, letting darkness take over the scene once more. Ahri bathed in the darkness of the room, sitting down on her knees while holding her chest. Her heart was pounding against her bones, fear lurked in her eyes… Silence reigned over her surroundings before she heard the sound of someone’s boots clashing with the marble ground.
“Why do you want to join the League, Ahri?” The voice was cold and impartial.
“I-I…”
“Why do you want to join the League, Ahri?” Impatience resonated through the man’s voice.
“Because I want to control myself, I want to make sure that these feelings never come back again so that I could finally become a normal human and be part of your society despite our differences. I want to redeem myself from my past crimes.”
“How does it feel to expose your mind?”
“Painful and frustrating.” The Fox huffed as she stood up and took a deep breath. The light finally reached her eyes as the doors in front of her opened up and allowed her to carry on forth to a better future and life.
