After gathering the bulk of his pets that he's gathered over his stay in the institute. The small mummy sits on his little table with a written sign of adoptions just above him. Each new 'friend' he's gathered he now had to give away. Only just recently realizing how much time taking care and nurturing each pet would need would out weigh the time the institute would need of his services.
So as the small mummy decided to take it upon himself to find these friends new homes among the summoners. He knew each of them would find a place to live and even if they didn't he could still take care of who was left. Sitting patiently he awaited the first of many summoners to adopt a pet into their family.

And there was nothing else, but silence.
The usually crowdy Great Hall of the Institute was empty. It had been like this ever since the political crisis, that enveloped Valoran, began. Many champions have left, since. And many summoners, who's allegiance belonged to either Noxus, or Demacia, have left to attend to more pressing affairs of their own countries. The halls now were quiet, and forlorn, only echoes and the wind traveling through them. Perhaps, during such times it wasn't the best idea to set up an adoption store, here.
But then there was a sound.
Distant at first, yet drawing closer, and closer. Should you listen carefully, you'd recognize the sounds of metallic soils against the stone floor. And ... ticking. As if somebody was carrying a large clock around.
Orianna was being idle again. With the Institute busy, she found herself with little else to do, aside from wandering these empty halls, in hopes of seeing a familiar face. At first, when it all began, and attention of the summoners towards her person started to fade away, she busied herself in reading the books she had in her room. But there were only so many books, and eventually she ran out of them. Plus, there was a feeling of boredom too. The automaton was a machine made for battle, not for reading books all the time. It gave her no excitement. There was little exciting in her life as it was.
But then, she had seen a familiar face. Out in the distance, a small thing wrapped in bandages, sitting in some sort of a booth with a sign over his head. Orianna immediately recognized the person as Amumu - a fellow champion, whom she had seen and fought with, and against, in the rift. Something akin to a facsimile of a smile appeared on her face, as she walked to the booth, leaning on the counter to stare at the undead yordle. Her eyes focused on his, before she spoke.
- Hello Amumu. I haven't seen you in a while. What is it that you're doing?

Hours had passed since the small yordle had set up shop for his pet adoption store. Seeing as very little summoners were even around to just visit his shop. Saddened and discouraged he was about to close up shop til he heard the footsteps of something. Not too keen on just giving up yet he rushing back to his little stool of a seat and wipes away the tears that were building up before whoever it was arrived. Seeing Orianna however was... unexpected but maybe she would be interested in a pet.
What would a robot use a pet for......... "Oh hello I'm just giving some of my pets away for adoption. Some of them are harmless and others are poisonous. I have too many for me to take care of now and I was hoping to find each of them a good home."

- Pets?
Orianna tilted her head curiously, looking at the fidgety mummy still. To the automaton's shame, she found herself unfamiliar with the term. Or, to be more exact, the purpose. She knew that a pet was an animal companion of some sort. Quinn's bird is a pet. Sejuani's boar is a pet. Nasus is a ... wrong comparison. Was the purpose of a pet to be a weapon? But then again, Amumu said that some of them are harmless. Such a loop of logic made Orianna stay still, and silent, for a little while, before she continued:
- Why would someone need a pet? What do they do?
It was a bit silly for her to be not knowledgeable in this. But then again, most of her knowledge did come from her opponents and allies in the Rift. Not the best source of information. Leaning more on and over the counter, Orianna wished to know more. And asked more questions:

The mummy was a little surprised that she didn't know what a pet was since she had that ball.... thing around her all the time. Well it seemed to be self aware but who knows. As for what the mummy was concerned maybe he could convince her to take a pet home. Taking the time to listen to everything she had to say before responding back to her.
"Well... people don't keep pets for what they do. They keep them because they want to feel needed and loved. I got most of my friends here from the Kumungu Jungle." He said as her brought each of them out one at a time. (I'll let you decide what each creature is.)

- Pets are friends?
Once more, Orianna sounded honestly curious. The way Amumu described them managed to hit some sort of a vibe deep within the automaton. She had recalled her attempts at socializing, and making friends with summoners, champions, and even random people. Needless to say, most of those attempts resulted in failures. But now, one could get a friend by just ... adopting them? How did that even work?
- Orianna would like a friend. I will be a good friend. - her voice rang out with the ever present metallic undertone, and she waited as the small undead yordle got out the boxes and containers in front of her. The creatures inside were ... exotic, to say the least. They were from Kumungu jungle - the same place where Teemo got his dreaded mushrooms from. And the creatures that were capable of surviving there were just as vicious.
In the first box was a snake of some sort. Only instead of 2 eyes it had 3, and its maw had not 2, but a couple of rows of fangs, all dripping with venom. The second one was a spider. An overgrown spider, the size of a small dog. Third was a glowy-eyed monkey-thing with a tail trice its size, the fourth was a plant that seemed to have eyes... Orianna had never known such creatures even existed, let alone seen any. Tentatively, she extended her hand towards the snake, in an attempt to touch it. But the reaction was an expected one - the creature lunged at the hand, catching it in its maw, and bit, several times. The attack made the robot girl freeze, while the snake kept biting. Soon, realizing that it couldn't bite through the cold, hard metal, the snake let go, slithering to the farther end of the box, hissing violently. Orianna put her hand away, eyes reflecting a bit of disappointment, as she addressed.
- Are you certain these creatures would be my friends? Can you recommend one?

Watching the metallic lady try to pet one of his friends to see her get bitten made him jump up and almost fall out of his chair. From what he could tell the each pet would take time to get used to anyone. So normally he would only allow others play with is pets bit by bit until they got used to him.
"Uh well anyone of them will make them a good friend however.... however you have to give it time show them you care." As an example Amumu raised his hand to pet the snake. Interestingly enough the small mummy had remained unharmed. As he was easily able to pet any of the pets.
"We could have you get a pet that is.... well a bit more gentle... like a poro?" He seemed to be asking as he pulled out the small creature in its basket. Handing some poro snakcs to Orianna to feed the little guy.

Orianna watched the Mummy pet the snake, with an even and slightly curious stare.
It seemed odd to her that a creature of such ferocity would tolerate an undead yordle, but be hostile to an automaton. However, she soon stopped focusing on the hostile critter, when Amumu brought up a friendlier one - a poro! The small ball of fluff was sitting in the basket, watching her with its black, beady eyes.
- I am familiar with Poros. I have encountered many in the Howling Abyss. If we feed them cookies, they quickly grow large, and explode.
Having said that, the robot girl cautiously took the cookie in her hand, and brought it to the small creature. At first, the Poro seemed intimidated by her, cuddling at the edge of the box. She waited, her hand still holding the offered cookie. After some time, the Poro became braver, and inched closer to the tasty treat, before opening his maw and biting, taking a good chunk of it. Orianna let out something akin to a giggle... or maybe it was her gears screeching out.
- Will this one explode as well, if I feed it too much?

Seeing Orianna taking the steps to beceome friends with the poro the small mummy smiled up to her. Glad that she had made a new friend and may even take care of him. However the moment she brought up the first question amumu started to ramble on on what would be needed to take care of the little creature. After what would be assumed a good hour of everything she would expect of the poro. The undead yordle took a breath to relax.
"And thats all you would need to know about this little guy here...." He seemed a bit hurried by all of that information he had to cram... especially saying just how much a poro can eat per day... twice or maybe more times. Poro's had senstive stomachs.
