Alias: "The Toximancer"
Class: Mage
Race: Human
Age: 18
Occupation: Freelancer
Residence: Born and raised in Zaun
Alignment: Neutral Chaotic
Abilities:
Equipment: Carries around his father's grimoire that has many pages to be filled

Friends- Azima used to manipulate a good amount of youths who made their lives on the streets of Zaun. Were they to meet Azima again, they may not be on friendly terms.
No other active relations as of now. He's at a point where his relationships would rarely wander into the realm of affection. They more range from Absolute Abhorrence to varying levels of respect.
Description: Azima's skin is ebony in tone, and his face has mostly angular features, slightly buggy eyes, as well as a short, pointy nose. His ears have free lobes, and are more flattened on his head than outward. Azima's hair is tight and curly, when untied it shows itself off in a messy afro, though he usually ties it back into a tight, curly ponytail. His eyes are a bright hazel, almost golden.
Physically, he's built slim, but not to an unhealthy point. he's six feet tall, standing over most, but not all, people, and his limbs are quite long. Normally, he almost always wears bandages on his arms, but if he were to remove them, it'd show that his arms are horribly scarred from careless use of his spells.
Azima likes to wear a mix of Zaun street fashion, and traditional mage wear, usually in darker colors. He wears a dark grey mage robe that used to be his father's, however much of the lower half is torn off, allowing it to only reach a few inches below his hip. under his robe he wears a black button up shirt, under his robes, the previously long sleeves would be torn off, going only up to his elbows. He wears casual black pants, and a pair of combat boots. (He also makes sure there are no spikes anywhere, as he has a distaste for them.) Finally, his hands are almost always seen wrapped in gauze bandages, varying in color depending on the last time he wore them.(Though, they always start out white.)
Biography: Azima was born an only child in Zaun, and grew up there his whole life. HIs father was one of many alchemists who took advantage of Zaun’s scientific freedom to perform various experiments with the concoctions he made. (Though, he had many questionable subjects, such as stray animals or Azima himself.)
Azima’s father had an ambition to create an alchemical substance that could grant control over the various toxins he worked with. (An art he named Toximancy). He tested many experimental potions on volunteers, as he needed human subjects for accurate results. Unfortunately, his potion proved to be as toxic as the substances he wanted to control, and many subjects became extremely ill, sometimes fatally so, without showing any signs of reaching the goal he wanted. As he ran out of willing test subjects, he believed that his concoction came closer to perfection. However, without any subjects, he had to resort to testing it on himself. After drinking the potion, his body became racked with illness, and he entered a state of weakness he never was able to leave, however the potion had worked! He could control the various substances he worked with, albeit to a smaller degree than he hoped for.
Using his new abilities, Azima’s father created one final toximancy potion he believed to be perfect, however with his own body in such a poor state of health, he had one subject who might be able to make use of the potion. His son, Azima, who at the time, was 12. He gave Azima the potion, and at first, it seemed like a failure. Azima became critically ill and bedridden for weeks, and his father was worried he might not have only failed to make a perfect toximancer, but killed his only son. However, Azima began to make a recovery, and once he was in full health, he showed that he was not only able to control various toxins, but he could produce a corrosive substance himself. His father spent the next two years trying to make something of Azima’s abilities, but after enduring a sickness brought on by his own potion for so long, Azima’s father finally died, leaving Azima an orpha
After his father's death, Azima was sent to an orphanage at the age of 14. The orphanage caretakers were lackadaisical, however, and Azima was the oldest child there, all the others being smaller children. As such, Azima often found himself looking elsewhere for a surrogate family, and found himself quickly being accepted by Zaun’s street youth. He fell into a gang, and seeing Azima’s abilities, they made quick use of him as a way to deal with enemies or other problems. Azima was manipulated for his magic for a short time, before he realized that he had power over his peers. Once he did, he quickly usurped leadership with threats of violence,(And the occasional demonstration) and started to manipulate his gang similar to how they manipulated him. Unfortunately, this didn’t solve Azima’s desire for a family, instead he saw the entirety of Zaun’s street youth as pawns. As such, he became a rather cold and calculating gang leader. HIs gang became infamous, their signature symbol being a red hand, as it was a common scar that would be applied by Azima himself to his enemies, where he would lay his bare hand upon an unfortunate victim, and start conjuring his acid directly onto them. (The scar was even common among members of his own gang.)
This was his life until he was 18, when he received what inheritance his father had left him. He found himself left with his home, and his father’s research. Most of it was meaningless to him, except for what his father had written in his notes on toximancy. His father had written everything down in a grimoire, however, ‘everything’ wasn’t much. Seeing what his father intended for him, Azima knew that his ‘Toximancy’ had some amount of potential. Abandoning his gang, Azima adopted his father’s ambition to master the art of Toximancy, and fill out the grimoire that was left for him.
Long Term Objective: To fill out his father's grimoire by developing his unique form of magic anyway he can.
