James stood at a quiet standstill besides Kayle, slightly in awe of the palace entrance. He glanced at Kayle and smiled briefly before going back to standing at attention.
I will meet one someday...and that day will either be the best or worst day of my life.

The palace entrance, a grand gate of graven stone and metal, was open to them. Inside the compound, the palace itself stood tall and proud, a monument to Demacian power and wealth. Marble statues stood beside Royal guard, equally statuesque. Here, in the entrance way, James Marker was relieved of his charge, the aged acting captain of the guard ceremoniously welcoming Kayle again.
"Lieutenant Marker. You are to accompany Kayle to The Royal Prince." When he finished with James, he walked silently, with only a glance behind him to see that they followed. His back was straight but he walked with a stiffness that belied his years, his close cropped beard and short white hair neatly kept. They walked no more than ten feet down the the echoing corridor before the Prince appeared.

James blinked a bit but saluted professionally all the same. "Yes sir. It's an honor." He followed behind him and the angel before Jarvan came before them, standing at attention and watching the two champions intently.

Kayle bowed to James in return before turning to the captain and following him. She kept his stride, only drifting a few feet behind him. When Jarvan came to greet her again, she inclined her head to him. "It was nice." Kayle replied. "A few things here have piqued my interest, and I shall have to visit them on my own when I get the chance." She added. She looked up at the palace, squinting slightly at the sunlight. It certainly was grand.

"About your request." He nodded to the Lieutenant appreciatively. It seemed he'd made a fair decision putting marker in charge of her tour. There'd be no end of noble complainants if the man had mucked it up. Kayle seemed pleased, even peaceful. Whatever path they'd taken must have kept her entertained. He let the worry that a closer look at the city might change her mind fall away.
"I can help ease your way through the legalities of your move here. Did you intend to purchase property? I assure you that the crown will provide you whatever you need, without question. Having you in the city would be enough, but have you formed any opinions on where you would like to be?." He pulled a small piece of paper out of his sleeve and looked it over.
"Something near the city center? Close to the Institute of War Embassy? Or did you find the waterfront to be to your liking? I have a few locations suggested here by my staff but I'm curious what you you had in mind." His mind was churning with possibilities. Not only were there true political and social advantages to Kayle's fondness of the city, it was unexpected and exciting. He gave her is full attention, knowing the Council of Nobles would be hounding him for details soon enough.

"Something near the center would suffice." Kayle replied, watching Jarvan scan the paper. "Unless there is a specific place you would have me be." Kayle shifted slightly in her armor. Kayle simply stood and let Jarvan go over his thoughts, she really had nothing more to say on the matter.
