Opening his umbrella for Avena, Jay began to walk with her making idle chit-chat until they got to the city center, which was bustling even in the rainy weather. "Well, here it is. So, yea. You know where I live, and if you need to find me while I'm at work, just ask for Jay McIna at the desk; I'll be there." He smiled. "Wish you well."

"Thanks I'll do that some time." She said with a slight bow before opening her umbrella and and walking off to the female dormitory which was nearly rather close to his home as he would see her enter a building label 'Noxian Woman's Training Dorms.'

Jay watched her leave and chuckled, walking back home. The rain stopped almost the moment she walked inside...well damn. Shrugging it off, he went his own way, thinking how this new girl may be a pleasant ally.

After a long while of eating muffins and reading up on her books, Avena has decided to pay Jay another visit. She had hoped he was home. She knocked on the door a few times before waiting.

As Avena knocked, there was a brief 'thud' from inside the apartment, followed by muted cursing and the sound of footsteps. Jay appeared at the door in a moment, covered in a blue powder and wearing a small smile. "Oh, hello Avena." He scrambled to dust himself off, returning to normal in a moment. "Want to come inside?"

"Of course, but... I hope I didn't interrupt you on something important." She said with a small laugh and a small shake of her head. She carefully stepped in wondering what he was doing before. "Do you need help with something?" She offered.

Jay shook his head a bit and lead her into the front room. "No, not really." At his workstation, there was a similar blue powder to the one covering him before spread in a starburst pattern and a knocked-over chair. "I was experimenting with a Mana crystal, bit of an explosion but nothing dangerous." He turned around and nodded a bit. "So, what brings you around?"

Jay nodded a bit. "Well you're welcome to come on in then. I haven't made any muffins recently, but there's a pot of coffee. Want some?" He offered, going into the kitchen.

"Of course." He came back with a black mug of coffee for her with two tablespoons of sugar, and a lightly creamed cup for himself. He sipped his own coffee and smiled a bit. "So how is the process going, then? Of applying and all that."
