Name: Carell Wollcroft
Alias: N/A
Class: Merchant
Race: Human
Age:37
Occupation:Trader, antique dealer, self styled expert on Rakkor culture
Residence: Demacia
Alignment: True neutral
Abilities:(if needed)
Nothing special. A knack for being able to throw a false impression and coax people using a silver tongue, but otherwise nothing exceptionally impressive. Familiar with a few basic points on sword and buckler fighting.
Equipment:
Arming sword and buckler carried around consistently in civilian life for sake of defense, for when fighting is actually expected he carries a medium sized heater shield and a coat of mail, a hard, open faced helmet, and a few mixed metal plates of armor.
Relationships:
Nothing of any great significance. Parents still live, but he doesn't hold frequent contact with them.
Description:
Carell stands at average height for a Demacian, always with a sly look on his face, even when he is up to nothing. His appearance is generally quite ordinary, save for the look in his eyes and the expression on his face, which are always full of guile, instantly charming most people that meet him.
Biography:
Carell Wollcroft was born to a family of fairly well to do merchants in Demacia. Carell found himself interested in the careers of his parents, and so he set out to make himself one of the most renowned merchants in all of Valoran. He found some early success with his endeavors, making himself enough money to be able to easily support himself. His name soon became familiar among gate guards, good inspectors, anyone who might normally see him. He was making a name for himself, and he was happy because of it.
However, it was always a nagging thought at the back of his mind that there were places with their riches yet to be unlocked. Even in Freljord in the cold north riches could yet be found, but there remained places that nobody was let into. Mount Targon was one such place. Through the limited volumes and information available to him, he learned of the value of relic weapons in their society, and how ancient Rakkor presence on Mount Targon was. It infuriated him that even though he tried several times to get on the mountain, he was turned away, often at the point of a sword.
He began to contact specialists, historians, antique dealers, anyone who might know something about the mountain, how to get there, where to find relics of their culture, anything. He delved deep into what outsiders knew about Mount Targon, and yet it was not enough. He had to see what was there with his own eyes. Already having well established himself among the circle of “experts” on Mount Targon, it came to his immediate attention when an antique dealer discovered a map. An ancient map, on it recorded the location of a long forgotten Solari temple complex. Carell instantly bought it, not caring of the price, and began to put together a band of adventurers, soldiers, anyone who would help him reach the temple complex.
The only question which Carell never asked himself was, if the knowledge and relics inside the temple were so valuable, why was it the Solari were not there already, or why did appear that someone had tried to destroy the map?
Long Term Objective:
Become the most renowed trader across all parts of Valoran, and become the pioneer to first open trade with even the most reclusive of people inhabiting the continent.
