Name: Kassadin
Alias: The Voidwalker
Race: Void-Infected Human
Occupation: Preserver
Residence: None
Alignment: Lawful Good
Abilities
Void Stone:
Kassadin's nether blade is projected from a particular crystal called Void Stone, capable of absorbing excess magical energy directed at its weilder. 15% of all the magical energies that strike Kassadin are absorbed by the Void Stone. The absorbed energy then causes the blade to resonate with power, increasing the power and speed behind its attacks.
Null Sphere:
Harnessing the powers of the Void, Kassadin is capable of projecting a quick-moving sphere of nether energies towards an enemy. Once it strikes an enemy the null energies contained within explode and react with the target, negating its ability to cast spells for 2,6 seconds.
Nether Blade:
Kassadin's nether blade is made out of pure energy projected from the Void Stone contained within his right bracer. As such, it has a very easy time piercing non-magical armor. It can also tap into a spellcasting enemy's magical reserves, draining a percentage of their mana and returning twice that amount to Kassadin. In addition, Kassadin can imbue the blade to supercharge it, causing it deal additional damage with each strike.
Force Pulse:
Kassadin is able to project a wave of nether energies in a wide arc, dealing damage and dazing enemies. The ability can be used very often, but decreases in power every time it is cast. However, each time a spell is cast in Kassadin's vecinity, Kassadin stores some of the excess energy to power up his next Force Pulse. This can happen a maximum of 6 times and the energy can be stored indefinitely.
Riftwalk:
Walking between the planes, Kassadin is able to sidestep into the Void to emerge at a different location within Valoran in a quasi-instantaneous process. When Kassadin teleports, he creates a rift that explodes at both the starting and finishing locations, dealing damage. Casting Riftwalk several times within a quick succession increases both the damage caused by Riftwalk and the drain on Kassadin's mana reserves - the first teleportation deals negligible damage and has almost no impact on his energy, but the ability can become quite taxing for both Kassadin and his opponents after a few casts. The amount of energy consumed is also directly proportional to the distance traveled - a small "hop" to maneuver in a battle is not too costly; but teleporting large distances (ie: between city-states) can be quite taxing on the Voidwalker.
Relationships
Malzahar: Malzahar is Kassadin's nemesis. Kassadin constantly makes attempts to stop Malzahar's sacrifices, succeeding only half of the time. The Preservers and Void Cultists are in a fierce battle, and Kassadin doesn't intend to lose.
Kog'maw, Cho'gath, Kha'zix, Vel'koz: Voidborn are scum of the earth. All they want to do is devour and eat, with nothing else in mind, or at least that's what Kassadin thinks.
Rengar: Kassadin sees an ally in Rengar, but only in battle. The Voidwalker doesn't approve of the Hunter's willingness to kill non-void beasts, and thinks that its only a matter of time before Rengar is overwhelmed by the constantly evolving Kha'zix.
Swain: Kassadin knows that he is a piece of Swain's game - which is why he intends to kill the man after the Void is purged - Swain is a lesser of two evils, but who ever said both evils needed to live?
Vayne: Kassadin sees Vayne as a trustworthy ally, but worries that the Night Hunter's thirst for Killing Evil might consume her.
Lucian: Lucian... basically Vayne.
