High above the ruined city, a broken floating castle towers upwards towards the blackened sky. The pale blue streaks of soul energy coiling around the massive spires. Occasional blue flashes of light like lightning would flash from within the castle as the souls were consumed why what lay inside. The great crumbling castle illuminated a light blue by the soul energies surrounding it. There it stayed floating since the king fell, his massive castle in a constant state of decay in complete silence...
Until a thunderous explosion of light blue, grey energy erupted outwards with a mighty scream. A large stream of energy trailed down from the gates into the centre to the ruined city, creating a large ghostly bridge. Any who touched it would feel it seemed almost solid, should one walk on it they would find themselves moving towards the massive castle, their vision fading...
As one felt themselves stop, they would feel their vision coming back into focus, they would be meet with complete and utter silence a massive hall surrounding them, great crumbling pillars stretched up into darkness. A large partially decayed purple carpet stretched from behind them leading past and towards the massive throne made of metal and bone. Massive grimy stained glass windows lined the hall sending large images of knights and priests onto the broken marble floor.
---------------------------------
Deep within a darkest room within the castle a simple retangular stone tomb resided. It gave off an odd pulsating grey glow. Every few hours it would shake... Gently barely noticable, slowly getting faster and more violent cracks split down the sides of tomb, the heavy lid of the tomb crumbling to dust a massive armoured gauntlet raises from the tomb gripping the sides dust coming off as the limbs move. A massive shadowy figure raises itself slowly, it stands about 6 foot something, any detail was shrouded in darkness and shadows what could be assumed to be his skull ingites in blue ethereal fire. A crown obscured by shadow and flame.
It raises its gauntlet... as if to examine it... It's voice sounds like a whisper, "My kingdom... Will rise..."
He sits upon his throne, the whole hall seems to grow darker than normal, his voice burns into the minds of those of the Shadow Isle, again no more than a whisper, yet held power to cripple all those who defied his command... "To me my Champions... We have buisness to discuss..."
I am the one who defied death. I am the one he fears. I am the on he can not take. One sweep of my hand and your nations will fall. Come for me you worms. You will all bow before my legions or be broken beneath us as we march upon your cities.

Hecarim enters the Ruined Kings castle, remembering long ago the last time he entered this sacred place. The hall filling his inner soul with power, he approaches his king and bows to him and speaks in a surprisingly respectful tone.
"An honor to see you in action once again my king. Thresh the Chain Warden and a new ally of ours will be along shortly, I have not seen Mordekaiser for some time however."

Evelynn would arrive in the decaying castle, Evelynn returning to the isles was a rare sight indeed. She eyes her surroundings with a smirk, she speaks loudly, disrespect clearly her intent, "Well my... Leige... Haven't you just let this place fall from grace?" She walks along the rotting carpet, her heels almost soundless, before stopping next to Hecarim, her hand trails along the armoured back, "Hello Hecarim... Long time no see. Having fun spreading pain and terror?"
With a great clinking and clattering of chains, Thresh stepped into the throne room of his grim overlord, though his attention was anywhere but the mighty entity seated across the chamber. Rather, the Chain Warden was preoccupied with 'roll-call', as he was surrounded with an array of glistening were-lights: the souls of the fallen from his latest expedition.
"Prince Arkenwald of the Duchy of Vonhollow...Justinian DuLoche, of Tooluse..." murmured Thresh as he advanced absentmindedly, seemingly without a single care except for his 'new friends'. Such an attitude had existed for the past several centuries of his existence, a general weariness in his grim purpose. All at once, the Chain Warden appeared to lighten up as he reached one final soul.
"And of course, my good friend Archie Sinclair, of Doolin," snickered the specter, almost to the foot of the throne. "We spent some fine times together, did we not?" It was then that Thresh noticed his positioning and his fellow Shadow Islanders. "...back to your places, everyone. We shall speak later." A single snap of his clawed fingers saw the spirits of the damned swirl back into the foreboding Lantern at Thresh's side, allowing him room to make a low and exaggerated bow.

"Well.. well.. well.." the pointed tips of Elise's stiletto's clicked against the stone surface of the ruined castle, a smile gracing her lips as she soon emerged behind Thresh, hiding in the Chain Warden's shadow. Her piercing red eyes fell on the Widow Maker, narrowing slightly. "Why if it isn't little Evelynn.. your absence is quite.. an annoyance." Elise's voice was filled with venom, it was clear she was not fond of the blue woman.
Elise then let her eyes rest on Hecarim, bowing slightly.. then to Thresh. Elise tapped her chin with a claw as she scanned the Warden "Tell me dear.. are the stories true? Were you really some sadistic, twisted man who took immense pleasure in ruining both the physical and mental realm of another person's mind? How.. delightful"
Elise then bowed gracefully before the king himself before making a makeshift chair from her back legs "So, my king.. what exactly are we discussing, hmm?"
The Gravedigger arrived to the Castle, his arrival noticed by the sound of a Lantern moving around before getting near, before he looked around his fellow Shadow isles Champions.
He then bowed to the Ruined King,Not saying anything in particular, waiting for why his King has summoned all of them.

There was no sound as the Stranger seemed to materialize out of thin air, appearing just a ways off from his fellow Shadow Islanders. His grin was ever present on his obscured face, the only feature that could be seen due to the supernatural shadow that covered most of it. His arms were folded across his chest as he seemed to look around at all the Champions hailing from this common place of origin.
"Oh dear, I have never before seen such a congregation of ghouls and specters in my Afterlife!" He remarked in with great amusement, as he mentally noted the presence of those like Yorick, the Gravedigger, and Evelynn, the Widowmaker.
The sound of thousands of wings clapping with the same power as a storm inundated the castle suddenly. But soon the roar of such unnatural storm would be replaced by an unnatural silence and hundreds of shadows invading the castle. The shadows entered the castle trough windows and the cracks of the walls and extinguished every source of light except those produced by the ghastly fires of a couple of champions. Soon the shadows formed a vortex and emerged into the scarecrow know as Fiddlesticks. He only stood there without making a move and holding his scythe.

Any lights within the castle would briefly dim or go out completely. For those that could see through the dark, they would notice a wisp of smoke slowly growing within the back of the room. By the time the lights returned, the wisp would have grown into the form of Nocturne. The Nightmare's blades where sheathed, resulting in it near blending in to the wall of the room, save for it's piercing white eyes.
"All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream."

The King continues to simply stay seated in silence, his eyes buring from behind the shadows shrouding him. Various other creatures of the undead had arrived to see their king risen once more, their eyes trained on him. His power on the isles could be felt within every creature present in the throne room, those he personally raised from the grave, Thresh and Hecarim, would feel his power the most... It would almost be overwhelming. Yet, even for all his power he would be crippled should he leave the isles.
The room grows dark as both Nocturne and Fiddlesticks enter in their own way, the king doesn't seem to react, though the room was darkened, one could still see that shadows enveloping the King, moving about him as though they were alive. His eyes move to each of the shadow isle champions one by one, as his gaze passes over them they would feel something stirring within them, unsure, but it would simply stir and then rest once more.
"It would seem... Karthus and Mordekaiser are unable to join us..."
A dark robed human would emerge from behind the throne, his robes were similar to that of a summoner, yet they were black, the trim a dark grey. His eyes would look to Evelynn before he simply moves and kneels next to the throne. The Ruined King wouldn't even look at the odd summoner. Raising a hand a black flash would , the citizens of the shadow isles would disapear.
"Hecarim... You and I will speak privately after this... Gathering has finished."
His eyes then look to Evelynn, she would feel pain rake through her body, "When you speak, you will speak with respect... Widow Maker..."
He then turns his gaze upon Thresh, "...Something troubles you, Warden... You and I will speak afterwards."
He then stands from his throne has he addresses Yorick, Jack and Elise, "And you three... You were not raised by my power... Before I begin, do you swear alligence to the Isles and its king?"
Should they refuse, they would be expelled from the throne room... Should they accept they would feel as though an anchor had been attached to their very souls. His eyes flicker to both Nocturne and Fiddlesticks, he would deal with them in a moment.
I am the one who defied death. I am the one he fears. I am the on he can not take. One sweep of my hand and your nations will fall. Come for me you worms. You will all bow before my legions or be broken beneath us as we march upon your cities.

The Stranger looked back at the King with a coy grin, which never seemed to leave his otherwise featureless face. The question forced Jack to consider his options. So far he had been able to continue his life's work without worrying about the machinations of others, he was free to kill and slash to his utter content and answer to no one but Death itself. However, now he was faced with a choice that could affect his future activities. He had no doubt that the King would not take kindly to any Shadow Islanders who didn't align with his agenda, though siding with the Ruined One did have quite a few benefits. For one, he would have allies who wouldn't mind lending a helping hand if he ever needed it. Also, those who served the King who could present him serious problems in the long run would not have any reason to keep him from doing what he was raised from the dead for.
The specter in black finally made his decision, as he dropped to one knee and bowed his head in fealty to the King of the Isles. "You have my blade at your disposal, Your Majesty, so long as I am able to continue my own mission for which I've been raised. Otherwise, I will serve you for both of our conveniences."

Elise give a graceful bow, her back legs doing the same, exaggerating the move. "Of course my king, you have my undying loyalty." Slyly grinning at the stone surface, Elise rose once more and sat back on her back legs.

The king's eyes flare, the room growing dark once more, blue green fire would ignite around the three of them, [glow=green,2,300]"You have sworn allegiance to me and my kingdom... Should you betray me... Your souls are forfeit and you will be forever buried within the catacombs beneath the isles. There, your body will rot for eternity. Your souls will be forever ensnared by Thresh and his lantern, not dead, undead or alive. He will forever be your warden."[/glow] Each of the would feel immense pain Peirce their bodies, as if hundreds of hooks had just penetrated their flesh. "You are bound forever in servitude to the Isles and its king."
The fire would fade and the dull light filtering through the stain glass windows would return, "Hecarim, Thresh... Step forward."
I am the one who defied death. I am the one he fears. I am the on he can not take. One sweep of my hand and your nations will fall. Come for me you worms. You will all bow before my legions or be broken beneath us as we march upon your cities.
