The automated message boomed across the battlefield, returning Shaco to the task at hand. The Jester was zoned out during the loading time period before the match. He barely knew anything about summoner magic, but after years of perfection, surely it shouldn't take 3 minutes to get the match ready!
Shaco grinned, that was behind him now. He enjoyed playing on the Crystal Scar a bit more than most champions. He just felt it was a bit more intense than Summoner's Rift. There, if only two of your Summoner's refused to surrender an obvious losing fight, you would be stuck in there for another 10 minutes, maybe even 20! However, on the Crystal Scar, matches were shorter, and generally closer.
Shaco observed his inventory as four items materialized inside of it. He smiled as he saw the items appear. A Prospector's blade, a pair of boots, and two health potions. Finally, a summoner who was willing to build attack damage! Too many times, he had been forced to go AP in a Dominion match.
The summoner who was controlling Shaco hadn't spoken to him yet. The Jester didn't mind this much. As long as he did a good job, Shaco was content. After all, he had made a good first impression by buying AD items.
"30 seconds until minions spawn."
The familiar message was played one again as Shaco strolled to the edge of his spawn bubble. This is going to be a good match... Shaco told himself, as the platforms that formed the ramp down towards the battlefield were being pushed out to their full length

The Grandmaster looked around and to his teammates,The demon jester one of them,His summoner has bought him some boots,a prospector blade and two potions.
He stretched his hands for a little bit and checking his Lamp post, before going to the edge of the top lane, he was ready to bring in on to the enemy team.
On the other side of the Crystal Scar, Nasus stands, somewhat confused by his summoner's choice of champion. He takes a moment to survey the Field, unfamiliar with its layout as he is used to being summoned in Summoner's Rift or even the Twisted Treeline. The Crystal Scar was not somewhere he was usually summoned thanks to the low numbers of minions and tendencies towards short games, while he excelled later on once he had culled many souls to bolster his strikes.
Ugh, he thinks annoyedly. There aren't going to be enough minions for my Siphoning Strike to reach its proper potential.
At this point, his summoner decides on his items to begin the match: a pair of boots, a crystalline ruby, and a long sword, as well as two health potions. Nasus nods with satisfaction.
Good. He knows what he's doing, at least.
Nasus gives his staff an experimental twirl before slowly making his way towards the bottom of the ringed area, prepared to head bottom.
Shaco glanced behind him to see Jax standing not too far behind him. He grinned. Jax and his infamous winning streak had landed themselves on Shaco's team. First, a summoner finally building him AD, and now Jax? It was pretty much a guaranteed win in Shaco's mind.
The Jester was about to check his other teammates out, but his summoner interrupted him. Let us spill blood for Noxus! A young voice echoed in his head. Shaco groaned. Not another Noxian...
Shaco had been summoned by Noxians 3 times in one day! He couldn't stand them on a regular basis, but this just made his hatred for them deeper. The Jester sighed. At least he built him AD.
Alright, kid, lets get this over with... Shaco responded back to the summoner, obviously displeased with his current situation. He folded his arms in protest, tapping his foot on the stone spawning circle floor.
Shaco readied his shivs. This shouldn't be that bad! Shaco thought to himself. He hoped the summoner hadn't heard that. He was about to test, when the summoner spoke once again.
My apologies, Shaco! I meant to build you AP, not AD! Silly me... Anyways, I hope you don't mind... Shaco watched in dismay as the Prospector's Blade disappeared in a clink of coins. It was soon replaced by Shaco's least favorite book in all of Valoran.
The Amplifying Tome.
Shaco stomped his feet, enraged by now. He had assum this was going to be a good game! Now, even before minions had spawned, he was proven wrong... The Jester sighed. He looked over at Jax, having to be confident in his skills to carry this game.

Vi warped onto Nasus's team, testing out her gauntlets. There didn't seem to be anything wrong with them, so she could probably let them carry her through this match. Crystal Scar was a great map for her talents; lots of close spaces, not much room for those fleeing her to run...it was just perfect.
She didn't say anything to Nasus yet, but watched the Summoner get ready to buy items. Please don't build me tanky...please don't...whatever you do, don't...
She immediately saw a Giant's Belt and some Cloth Armor appear in her inventory.
Dammit.
She looked to the sky for a moment. Oi, what the hell do you think you're doing? Getting the drop on them won't do me any good if I can't do any damage, you twit.
She heard a slight groan. I'm sorry, Ms. Vi, but I'm not a very good summoner. If I don't buy these, you're likely to die a lot.
She groaned. Much appreciated, but have you seen their team comp? Being tanky isn't going to do us any good, they have too many ways to catch up. Sell the belt NOW, and buy a couple of longswords. DO IT.
There was a moment's hesitation, and the belt disappeared and was replaced by a wooden mallet. A compromise. Health for me, damage for you.
She turned and gave a pleading look to Nasus. "Why do you always get the smart ones, Nasus? Can we, like, trade or something?"

Cassiopea materialized onto the summoning platform, alongside Vi and Nasus. Double checking that her snakes were ready before anything else was a must - otherwise all she has is a pool of poison to work with for 20 minutes. Once finished she turned her attention to what her summoner was purchasing. One ruby crystal, sapphire crystal, boots and some health pots.
Cassiopeia had always wondered where to put the pair of boots that summoners always have to buy first. The institute had enchanted them to make their holder faster; whether they put them on or not. But it was always a pain to be the source of all the boot jokes, no, they do /not/ go on her hands.
"Let's have a good game, lady Cassiopeia!! You're playing for Demacia this time!! :)" Said an overly positive, chirpy voice.
Oh no. She was a Demacian. This one didn't have anything against her though, so that was good. Cassiopeia had encountered more than enough summoners that made her slither right into the enemy clutches due to spite.
"Indeed, summoner." She muttered.
Cassiopeia hoped that at the very least, her summoner knew what she was doing.
((Apparently not participating in League match anymore QQ))
Shaco moaned. "Seems like it... Just because the Institute changed the recommended items around DOES NOT MEAN I MUST BE BUILT AP!" Shaco yelled at the sky, hoping to get the Summoner's attention. He sighed once more. It wasn't much use, anyways. If his summoner sold his tome again, he would have even less gold, and Shaco's starting inventory would be a mess.
"The battle has begun!" The outcry from the message boomed across The Crystal Scar. The final piece of the ramp had popped into place, and the barrier sourrounding the platform had lowered. "Come on Jax! Lets try to make this fun, shall we?" Shaco proceeded to sprint towards the Quarry, hoping for a quick capture.
((Just for clarification, my team is Quarry side, and Nasus' team is Boneyard side))
