On the city of Zaun many industries are able to build fortunes only to go bankrupt on a matter of months The competition among Zaun industries is ruthless and brutal were the common practice is to espionage and sabotage your competitor. Among those industries Alchemax industries is one of the most successful ones, it has become a multi-corporation whose range of products range from weapons to medicines. It has ruthlessly consumed many companies that stood on his way and has become one principal sources of employment in Zaun. Among the many facilities in Zaun the “hearth” of the corporation is building close the Cypher manor there all the business of the corporation are handled by Singed himself the Ceo and owner of Alchemax industries.
Through the lobby entrance passed the elusive form of the heavily self-augmented Zaunite Champion, Viktor. In each hand he held a different device of some kind, his shoulder-mounted mechanical arm gripped his staff firmly since his others were full. The Machine Herald made his way up to the receptionist's station, stopping to stare down at her through the eye holes of his intricately designed mask.
"I am here to see the Mad Chemist, whom I understand is the founder and proprietor of this very company. I highly suggest you tell me where I can find him at this very moment, as I have other matters to attend to than what I have to propose to him."
The Herald spoke with clear disdain, as he leered at the overly chipper brunette woman who sat behind the counter before him. He didn't want to be here any longer than was required, but Singed had requested weapons but did not make it clear where he wanted the techmaturgical devices delivered. Viktor had had to take the time to look into Singed's history, happening upon this company and this building in which he was currently waiting to present his finished work to his 'associate.'

The brunette secretary didn’t took into account the tone of voice since she was already used to being talked down by the many self-important scientists on the company. “Yes I have been informed of your arrival member of our personal will accompany you to the weapon test room” “After a short time Mr. Cypher will go to greet you and see the results of your work.”

Taminah glided quietly above Zaun, taking this moment to enjoy her peace and solitude- the night sky above the smog was the most beautiful sight and one of the rare blessings that came with her wings. Years after the augmentation that blessed- or cursed her with flight, there was only slight, lingering pain, and the ever present tug of the muscles grafted onto her to power her membranous, bat-like wings.
She checked the time on her pocket watch though, and sighed, as it was the right time now to act. She donned her mask and breathed on the air filter, plunged without a sound through the smog filled skies, her vision temporarily obscured by the build up of pollution in the city’s firmament. The serene and idyllic view of being high above the clouds was replaced by the industrial urban sprawl of Zaun. She spread her wings once more to glide, and slow her freefall, eyeing her landing zone and flew in on a curved trajectory, using her silent propulsion pack to propel her onto the roof.
Once she touched down on the roof, she folded up her wings about her like a fitting cloak. Her sharp ears catch footsteps coming her way- swift and silent; she ducks behind a corner to evade their vision. She hears them settling down and opening a bottle, and at once she realized they were just a couple of employees taking time off.
She came to an air vent entrance, and, with her Zaunite tool kit, undoes the grates. Slight of build and agile, she crawls in, following the air currents to the laboratories. She undoes the grates above the laboratories, and proceeds like a shadow towards the storage rooms. Her enhanced hearing and night vision allowed her to remain undetected and incredibly aware of her surroundings, as she searched for the chemicals she came here for.
The statement was simple, but spoken with the all the authority and force that Viktor could muster. He didn't come here to be leashed around like some dog that couldn't be trusted to wander about on its own. He hadn't worked hard just to have to deal with incompetents.
"Now, here is what you will do instead. You will contact the Mad Chemist, directly, and inform him that if he wishes to keep our contract he will come and see me in five minutes. You have a thirty second grace period starting.....ten seconds ago."

((For now I will not react to the bat-woman and see how things play out))
The secretary was surprised by the sudden demands of the league champion but she knew how unreasonable the “genius” types could be.
“Don’t worry Dr. Cypher has been waiting your arrival, and the test room has been prepared for your exposition.”
After saying this she pressed some bottoms on her panel and connected Singed office in order to communicate with him on a conference call so the herald could hear and speak.
“Mister Cypher here is the machine herald and he wants to speak with you.”
She waited a minute before Singed spoke trough the communicator.
“Let’s not lose time on things like talking, show him the way to the test room I will be in there in 10 minutes.”
Well, one thing Viktor could say about Singed was that he was aware when the time for business came...
Almost minutes later, after an elevator ride up to the appropriate floor and a walk down a series of corridors, Viktor had finally arrived at the testing room with the employee who had been unfortunate enough to be made to show him the way. Not a single word had been said during the entire journey, however, as Viktor didn't really care for idle chatter with people whose names were not of import.
The poor worker bid him a good day before walking briskly away, apparently intimidated by the Machine Herald's direct visage. Viktor, however, merely made to turn the knob on the door and pushed it open to reveal....

Taminah searched through the storage rooms, which were on the same floor as the test rooms but on the farther side of the building. She looked through all the chemical names, until she came across the base compounds that would build the specific combat stimulant the Wings used. She began taking essential canisters, stuffing the bag with adrenaline boosters, muscle enhancers and aggression pills. Since these compounds' formulas were well guarded secrets, raiding the central supply was slightly less challenging.
She would be completely silent, were it not for the very untimely shakes that would cause her to drop some pills on the ground. An pair of security guards on patrol would eventually come by the laboratories for evening rounds, having heard the noise.
"What was that?" They looked at each other and began to investigate, entering the locked laboratory.
Taminah very, very quickly began sweeping up the pills, cursing the loose container. She instinctively hid in a dark corner to evade their sight. Slowly the guards came in, to check the pharmaceutical storage. They came across the unlocked cabinet.
"Go sound the alarm. We've got missing stocks!" The guard said... realizing he spoke to no one.
Taminah had pounced on the other man, and squeezed on his neck, rendering him unconscious. She came eye to eye with the first guard.
"ALARM! ALARM! INTRU-" The Guard only got the word out, and immediately was taken down, a tripping kick causing him to hit his head on the tiled floor. But it was too late- word had gotten out, and a guard down the hall tripped the alarm.
Taminah ran out the door, looking about and quickly making her way to the hex-circuit board for this floor. She rapidly turned it all off... then used her claws to cut the power to this level. The level went dark, and Taminah swiftly makes her way to the Testing area, searching for a window to break out of.

The room was spacious enough to house a soccer field and the walls were reinforced with exotic alloys that couldn’t be found on any other part. “Here we are this room can withstand an explosion of 1 kiloton from the inside you are free to sow your designs as you see fit.” Said Singed as he entered through another door he was sporting a burned lab bat that was burned and tainted with some chemicals as he had been working on some project. “Well from where do you want to begin?” he had just pronounced those words when a alarm sound came from his coat it was a an alarm that indicated that the power on the 3 level in which the chemicals were contained had his power cut down. “Sorry about that herald please prepare your presentation while I attend to this it seem s like we have a rat in here” Right after he said this he talked with one of his employees through a communicator. “Seal all the air ducts and every possible exit I want this rat before me after the presentation of the herald.” There would be only one pat left for the intruder after the other exits were cut down and it leaded to the room in which they were. Bad luck or good luck, maybe he could see the weapons of the herald on a moving target or maybe it could ruin the presentation in any case it would be something interesting to see.
Viktor's masked face turned slowly left to right as he surveyed the vast chamber that Singed had prepared for the demonstration. Listening to the explanation by the Mad Chemist, the Machine Herald couldn't help but be impressed by how defensible it all was from the inside. Then Viktor's gaze fell upon Singed, as he took notice of the state of his coat but said nothing about it. He was about to respond when an alarm sounded from Singed's person, and after a moment it was said that something had happened.
"A rat, eh? Well, then, it seems we have a test subject."
Singed ordered all exits sealed, meaning the 'rat' that he'd mentioned would have very few options for escape. This was perfectly fine to Viktor, as it meant that he would have someone to test his new inventions on. And he fully intended to test them himself, as he did not trust anyone else - not even Singed - to handle his equipment in his stead.

Taminah began to panic... the alarms were activating all around, and in spite of her attempt at finding a window, she could not, and she was being led to the testing area. She ran hard and fast, knocking aside guards, wasting no time to fight. She needed a window- any window.
Her heart sank when she was led to and cornered at the testing area. She looked at her opposition... two Champions of Zaun. She swallowed out of distress, cracking her knuckles, and immediately used her first tactic.
Beg like a coward. “P..p...please let me go! They... they forced me to steal for them! They said they’d hurt my family if I don’t listen to them!” Taminah said, complete with tears and hand clasping. She didn’t let go of her bag of loot though.

Well Singed was now on a little dilemma. Should he instantly kill her or capture her to see if she had any accomplishes. Decisions, decisions true to be told he was rather impressed that someone could enter his central building and he was always looking for new talents. “Oh welcome you arrived just when we were about to test some new type of weaponry that might just be a revolution on the way that war is “played” this is an exciting opportunity. Let me tell you that all the exits from this room had been sealed, and even a teleporter would have trouble leaving it without leaving a few organs stuck on a wall. So I will make make you a proposal. I will let you live if you can live though what my partner here will test on you for let’s say…1 minute. If you can survive one minute you will live.” Singed recognized this as an opportunity to test both. The value and effectiveness of Viktor’s weapons and if it would be worth it to let this girl live.

"No, please! Let me go!" was Taminah's response, even as under her wing-cloak she was already retrieving a hextech grenade from her belt. Frag...frag... glue... Deaf. She pulled the Deafen grenade from the belt. She slipped her thumb into the ring, and waited for the right time to pull. Since she had acute control over the muscles in her ears, she could simply deafen herself and be immune to it.
As she pleaded she studied the room further, looking at the windows. She was eyeing up Viktor for his moves too, and decided the Herald would likely be more likely to reach her with a ranged weapon.
Last Edit: Feb 8, 2013 19:51:06 GMT -5 by Taminah Visari
Viktor's artificially augmented voice carried a rather uncharacteristic defiance and certainty, as he merely stared at the young lady that had boldly infiltrated the corporal headquarters of one of the most feared Champions of the League. However, even as he did so an idea had come into existence within his mind, as he nodded in confirmation to himself.
"However, girl, you will have the honor of testing one of my new weapons that I've brought here."
He dropped to one knee as he placed the device in his right hand - a portable hextech ray emitter, which was comprised of two individual cylinders of different size connected via a very comfortable-looking grip with a trigger closer to the top (and larger) one - on the floor and slid it towards the intruder. He immediately stood straight back up as he took his Hex Core staff into his empty hand from his mechanical one, holding it firmly at his side. In his left hand he still held the other device, one comprised of a large sphere contained within three separate but directly connected rings (two horizontal and one vertical)
"Your goal is to incapacitate me using only that device I've lent to you. Only then may you earn your freedom. If you are unable to do so, however, then the Mad Chemist here will decide your fate. Either way, these devices will be deemed worthy of use regardless of your success or failure."

Taminah was a twitchy individual, and quickly picked up the ray gun. She deliberately came over to within two paces of Viktor, aiming it point blank at the Machinist’s chest. She subtly moved around a bit, closer to a wall and a sealed window. She had a bad feeling about it though- but she was desperate, and knew her hextech grenades weren't going to put them down.
“...I’m sorry, I really don’t mean to... I...I need these...” She indicated her bag, then pulled the trigger without even looking away.
