Rudmed was sitting nearby a fire reflecting on their failed operation in Noxus. The goal was to question Sona, but it seems that the grandmaster had underestimated Noxus' togetherness. He had assumed Draven did not pose an issue, but as fate would have it he turned out to be quite the issue.
Furthermore, Sona seemed to clue in as well given the last actions she took before they departed. Was he too forward? Perhaps he should have taken it slower, and shown her around a bit more. Acting more like a tour guide than an escort. Though perhaps his story was too bogus, maybe that was it.
All of which were possible variables, even sheer circumstance was a variable that had to be considered. However, one thing became clear Rudmed would have to plan much better for their next operation.
The question remains, what should they do with Noxus? A war is out of the question, Noxus has far too much power for that. Furthermore, they had allies by the names of Bilgewater and Zaun. It would make traveling very difficult as those city states might begin to give second looks to new faces in their cities. Perhaps if they were to assassinate the generals or elite guards and then storm their targets in force. Without their protection they could overwhelm the champions in sheer weight of numbers. Though they could never impersonate the men or women they eliminate. Surely the elite guards are a tight knit unit and unquestionably loyal. After all if they could cut off the head of the snake, perhaps the rest would die. But Swain is a very hard man to reach, not to mention the fact he is the tactical genius of Valoran. The operation would require careful and precise planning as well as timing. After all how could Swain be five steps ahead of something he isn't even aware of?
It was then an acolyte approached Rudmed, and asked, "Sir, what shall we do? It seems Sona is taking her time in Noxus or as slipped away without our notice."
Rudmed stood and paced for a moment coming to a decision, "Tell the men we leave in the morning. I have to consult some of our order's sacred texts to better plan our next move. Perhaps I will find the answer in deeper reflection." The acolyte nodded before returning to the others, and Rudmed stared at the fire.
Soon the sinners will face righteous retribution
