High in the mountains lies a stone temple where very few know of its existence. It acts a shelter to the wayward travelers, years ago it was a home to an order that existed many many years ago. The architecture speaks of its age as not many structures are built in such a way, but nonetheless it is an impressive work of art. Clearly created and meant to withstand the many years of damage done to it.
However, that order has been revived and the temple is now bustling with activity. As hundreds of members of the Final Truth prepared themselves for the many crusades that their Grandmaster was about to declare. The sound of hundreds of feet running toward the main lobby where Rudmed stood on a balcony above his subordinates. His brown eyes looked at their eager forces waiting for orders to begin purging this world of sin and evil. The little bits that Rudmed heard were questions of who they may be hunting. A few guess were correct...particularly those of the champion variety.
Rudmed removed his hat that hid his face allowing his audience the first real look they would see of his face. While he was still a younger man, he carried himself as one who had wisdom beyond his years. He held his hands up and there was absolute silence...even the stealthiest footstep would be heard. The members of the Final Truth did not dare interrupt their grandmaster's speech.
"Brothers and sisters!" His voice boomed, "I have gathered you all here today to say that we are taking the first step of cleansing the face of sin off of Valoran." He paused to let his subordinates a moment to get out their cheers and applause before continuing, "We will launch multiple crusades to hunt the worst sinners of them all. I have heard you speculate on their names, and I will admit. Some of you are quite correct, but some of you might be surprised! I shall begin with our first crusade, perhaps the smallest one we will undertake. The Searing Crusade against the sinners in Ionia!" Many members began to whisper surprised that Ionia of all places would be considered...a target!?
"Do not mistake me. Our crusade is not against Ionia itself, but rather the few sinners that do exist there." Rudmed explained, "I shall read the targets of interest, who by the Final Truth's laws have been deemed to be sinners." Rudmed paused for a moment before reading off the first sinner in Ionia.
"Ahri, The Nine Tailed Fox! It is no secret that Ahri has stolen many lives in order to achieve her humanity! She has murdered innocent men, by charming them with her magic, for her own selfish gain! Her sentence is" Rudmed paused for a moment before continuing, "Execution!" There was much cheering before Rudmed brought up his hands to silence to the crowd, "Please hold your excitement till I am finished!" The crowd immediately was silenced.
Rudmed took a moment before continuing, "Akali, Shen, and Kennen! Members of the Kinkou Order, who claim to bring balance to the world. We shall see if they are true to the world. For now their sentence is investigation and reflection....We shall see if they are truly as pure as they claim to be!"
The list went on....and on. Rudmed named other champions from Ionia like Udyr for murdering the travelers who trespassed in his territory. Syndra, for the murder of her master. And then finally Varus for his most recent murder of innocent Noxians. All of them were sentenced....to execution.
Rudmed continued onto the next campaign, "Now we move onto The Cleansing campign against the sinners of Zaun!"
He paused briefly to let the message sink in before listing off the targets of interest. "First of course is their most well known representative! Singed the Mad Chemist! I do not need to explain his many sins, nor the reasoning for his sentence. Execution!"
"The next target is...Dr. Mundo! The sadist doctor has had a long steak of torturing and murdering individuals! Such sins cannot be left unpunished! He shall be executed!" Rudmed ordered to the crowd, who seemed ready to explode at almost any moment. The young grandmaster listed off Warwick as the other main target due to his weapons usage in Ionia, and the werewolf was to be put to death! Urgot, due to the creature being an abomination and its duty in the primary life.
"Our next campaign is against the dark forces of Noxus! The Crusade of Retribution!" Rudmed declared, "Many of you will recognize these names!" He paused briefly before announcing perhaps the order's most dangerous target. "Jericho Swain The Master Tactican!" The crowd's excitement disappeared in that brief moment as they considered the fact they would be attempting to murder the Grand General of Noxus. Rudmed noticed this, "I understand it is a large task, but the man has committed crimes that cannot go unpunished! He led the barbarian extermination campaign! Innocents killed for who they were! Furthermore, you have seen the monster he has become on the Fields! You know that such a pact cannot be tolerated! Therefore he is sentenced to Grand Execution!" Rudmed roared and the crowd roared with him.
However, he was not finished just yet as there were still many who were not yet named, "There are still more comrades. The next one is....Riven The Exile! A notable hero, who killed many Ionians. She must be punished for her sins. Execution is the only option for her."
Rudmed went on naming other champions. Darius was to be executed as an accomplice to Swain. Talon, Katarina, and Cassiopeia were to be placed under investigation till evidence to support their sins came about. Leblanc was also put under investigation till evidence became apparent.
However, Rudmed did not stop there. There were many others who must be punished for their sins. All the void champions, excluding Kassadin, were to be killed on sight. Karthus was put under investigation, Nidalee was to be investigated then sentenced as soon as possible. All beings from the Shadow Isles were to be executed as well in the Crusade of Purification. Creatures like Renekton, Fiddlesticks, Brand and Nocturne were also to be killed on sight.
Gangplank was to be investigated, Sona too was meant to be investigated, Sejuani was meant to be investigated as well. Finally the two angelic sisters were to be investigated in the event of unjustified crimes or sins.
The crowd let out a might roar as Rudmed returned his hat to his head and began his walk back to his studies. The members rushed their preparations so they could be ready to depart on their crusades as soon as possible.
Sin would be punished. The truth would spill from the mouths of the sinners.
