My mind lay eclipsed upon this bitter visage
Stepping upon broken glass with bloodied footsteps left behind
It wrecked the psyche of my alliances
My faith in humanity
What little of it there truly was
Imprisoned by a man
Left to rot within the cells of his enemy
Abandoned, now I truly know where he stands
The future may seem bleak
Whatever it holds I'm blinded to
Radiant sunlight breaks through cracks in this hollow hellhole
I'm reminded of my freedom
Skylark
A song bird
Trapped in a cage of his making
With a bed of thorns beneath me
I lay upon the wastes of my own sanity
Destroyed under the alarm of bells and snares
Captivated by the need to fly
I'll find my place again
Someday...
Sky rested in the cold, musky dungeon as she scribbled down the texts of her thoughts. Alone in her own darkness, feeling abandoned and left to face consequences she didn't feel should be her's to bear alone. It enraged her. Taking the freedom from this Sky Pirate, and leaving her to die alone. There was no greater sin in her mind. No thing could provoke such hatred as this.
She began writing again.
I suppose in the end I should have kept running. I could have kept going and abandoned him entirely, but instead now I'm here, alone, and helpless and Swain has found my true weakness. I'm no longer free. Not until that stone is taken, or destroyed and even then I don't know what this beast within me might do. Every minute I linger here, I feel my sanity slipping away. Every second I'm behind bars, I can feel my life draining slowly. Where are the people I thought cared? Twisted Fate? He's off probably chasing tail. Graves? Does he even give a shit? Lee Sin... Did he receive my origami? My little crane.. My little piece of hope. I thought I saw it crumpled up in that girl's grip.. I wanted to rip her limb from limb.. But nothing happened. I guess this is my fate. Isn't that funny, TF? I bet you didn't see this coming."
