Teemo sighs, his smile fading as Rumble walks away. He was about ready to leave when Rumble asks if he wanted to stay. Pretending to think it over, he waits before shrugging and walking over to the workshop.
"Okay, sure, I'll stay and chat a while. And... Malz's pets? Why would one of them be here?"

Rumble shrugs and opens the door for Teemo. Once they're both in the workshop, Rumble walks over to a nearby table. He takes out the gear he pocketed and threw it on the table.
"I'm just as stumped as you are, bud. Methinks that void bug was the cause of the heaps collapsin', though that's just a guess."

Teemo scratches his chin curiously, wandering over to the table the gear was placed on for no particular reason.
"That's odd... I didn't know the voidlings would come as far as Bandle. I hope this doesn't mean that there will be trouble. Malzahar isn't exactly a viable target for me, considering he's a champion and all."
He sighs, glancing down and seeing the gear. Something strike's Teemo's memory and he quickly pulls out the strange, glass-like disk he found in the trash heap. Turning it over in his hands, the scout admires it for a moment before speaking, not looking away.
"I was meaning to ask earlier... I don't think I've seen a lens like this before. Do you recognize it at all?"

Rumble takes the lens and examines it for a little bit. He shrugs and hands it back to Teemo.
"I don't use glass very often in my machines, so most of the glass stays in the heaps. I don't see anythin' special about that piece. If ya wanna keep it, ya can."

Teemo takes the piece back and looks at it again, shrugging and placing it back in his pack for the time being.
"I suppose someone around Valoran will have an idea. Maybe I'll make a trip up to Piltover one of these days and say hello to Ziggs. They seem to use glass a lot, and I've always wanted to get to know him better outside the fields..."

Rumble crosses his arms and rolls his eyes. He mutters something under his breath, but the words "Piltover" and "logheads" could slightly be made out. He pulls up a stool and sits on it.
"So didja just come here to talk about that scappy piece of glass, or do ya wanna chit-chat some more?"

Teemo had fairly good ears, so he heard a few words that Rumble said and was able to fill in the gaps fairly easily, understanding, from what he'd heard rumored around, that the Mechanized Menace was not very fond of the Piltovians. He brushes off the comments anyway with a sigh and steps over to Rumble, placing a hand on his shoulder in a more gentle attempt at keeping him calm.
"I came here so we could hang out a little more and get to know each other better, and last I checked you asked me if I wanted to stay. Anyway, forget the glass. That's not why I'm here, so let's not talk about it anymore, okay? Is there... anything you want to chat about in particular?"

Rumble grabs a wrench and starts tossing it up into the air. He sighs and looks at Teemo.
"Well, I was kinda hoping you'd know about the void bug, since you're the scout 'n all. If ya wanna chat about something, I wouldn't mind talking about it... so long as it's not too personal!"

Teemo crosses his arms, sighing again.
"I don't really know very much about the Void... just that it's bad, and usually it's not a good sign when Malz gets involved. And... well... I don't know what to chat about. A lot of things I could ask would be pretty personal, so... maybe I'll just start with how was your day today?"

"'Course, the usual starter for a conversation..."
Rumble catches the wrench after tossing it a few times. He throws the wrench behind him, which lands in a tool box behind him. Rumble grabs three screws and starts to juggle with them.
"Busy. As usual. I was gonna take a nice nap... 'til someone decided to bonk me on the nose." Rumble catches the screws and eyed Teemo very seriously. In the next second, Rumble breaks his expression and lets loose a hearty chuckle. "That's behind us and forgiven though. How's yours, bud?"

For a moment, Teemo's expression becomes fairly submissive when Rumble mentions his rude awakening, pulling his ears back and turning his eyes away. He sighs with relief when he realizes Rumble was just playing. The scout pulls off his helmet and shines his goggles with the heel of his hand for a moment, a look on his face that showed he was in deep thought.
"Well... I just got back from a trip to Demacia. Went to go see how Poppy was doing. Things have been a bit slow for the Scouts lately... I guess Valoran is quieting down now. Not sure what I'll do with my spare time now... it's why I decided to come and chat earlier, heheh."
His mood seems to brighten as he chuckles, slightly nervously, and holds his helmet under one arm while scratching his cheek with the other gloved hand.

Rumble eyes Teemo curiously for a little bit, but then decides to pay no heed to Teemo's nervous chuckle. Rumble then resumes juggling the screws.
"Hah, free time. You're lucky ya have that. If it were me, I'd explore the city a bit. Visit some museums, watch the scenery, or eat at a nice place. Or take a short nap under a tree like I was gonna do, heheheh."

"Oh... yeah... sorry... about that."
Teemo's smile falters with each word, eventually becoming an unsure frown. He moves his wavering eyes to the floor in an attempt to control himself better.
"I've seen most of the city already... and I know most of the people in it pretty well. It's the things outside the city I want to learn more about. Kinda like... well, kind of like you, seeing as you spend most of your time here alone..."

Rumble chuckles again and tosses his screws away. "Hey, don't worry 'bout that, I'm only kidding around."
He hops off the stool and paces back and forth. "So ya wanna know more 'bout me, then? There ain't much to know about, except that I build machines all day every day, bud. I do get out a bit sometimes, but it doesn't happen often."

Teemo sets his helmet down on the table and takes his gloves off while he speaks.
"Oh, come on. There's more to everyone than meets the eye. And I like getting to learn more about people, especially my friends. It's kind of like getting to know your enemy, only you're not going to go out and kill them in the end and you usually can... get on a more personal level. Though I think Trist is the only person who really knows me personally."
