Rumble raises his head ever so slightly and rests his chin on the desk, looking straight at the tally board. He makes a sigh of clear depression and dejection.

Against all the commotion, the outbursts and tantrums over abysmal grades, at least one student remained decidedly quiet, his red eyes wide, surveying the room. When Ahri shot up from her seat, he recoiled, turned around. Of course she wouldn't directly answer him here. It would be detrimental to her... reputation. He sighed quietly before taking notice of the slip of paper on his desk. Curiously, he unfolded it:
"Hey, how was your break? -Rose"
He glanced towards the girl at his right and offered a small smile from behind his shroud before taking out a pencil to scribble his reply:
It was okay, I guess. What about yours? What's your sched What do you have next period?
A slight blush tinged his pale cheeks as he wrote. Then he quickly re-folded the page and slipped it onto her desk while he was sure Dr. Lewis wasn't looking.

Rumble sighed and lifted his head up. He moved his arms and crossed them, inadvertently uncovering the score for Teemo to see if he very well chose too.
"Hmph... Bad, bad, bad.... Yeah, hopefully I'll get a better score next time..."

Teemo smiles and rubs Rumble's shoulder, his hand still resting on the other yordle's head. He notices the score but can't help to chuckle a little. The young scout leans down and whispers in Rumble's ear again, stifling his laughter.
"That's the spirit! Heh, besides, it looks like you did better than most of the other kids in class. Don't get too hard on yourself, 'kay? You're too good for that."
He couldn't help but grin cheekily at his friend, patting his head in reassurance.

Rose smiled back at Swain, not having expected him to answer, and then she looked quickly away; it'd be hard to tell if it was a blush or a light layer of cosmetics that added the pink to her face. Her green eyes spark with something resembling mischief as she opens the paper. Passing notes gave her that small thrill which seemed characteristic of most rule-breaking.
A flicker of mild amusement passes over her features as she sees what he's scratched out. Slowly, so as not to make much noise, she tears off a new sheet, and writes her new note at the top of it.
It was busy; lots of family to deal with, and got some writing done. I've got gym next period- bleah- and then Chemistry. You?
The paper's creases are sharp with precision as she folds it up in a small square, concealing it entirely in her hand as she slides it over the surface of his desk. To anyone who saw her hand sneak across the aisle, it wouldn't be obvious she was giving him anything- it'd actually look like she was taking something, but she had a plan for that, if the teacher did notice.
That initial, small smile hovered on her lips through the whole process, seeming stuck between shyness and confident flirtation.

Rumble quickly covers his score with one hand, but then slowly moves it away and sighs. "Hmph... Maybe I did, but a B's still no good." He takes his ink-drained pen and grips it with determination. "Next time, I'll get the full score," he muttered.
He turns to Teemo with a curious glint in his eye. "I'm kinda wondering, though, how did you do on the test?"

Teemo's fur bristles, visibly paling slightly as he pulls away from Rumble nervously.
"U-uh... I... did... a-alright..."
He gives his desk a quick glance, silently opening his mouth slightly and gasping as he realizes he left the test out in the open. Rumble was closer than he was, and certainly the big 100 on the top would be visible from where his friend is seated.

Jon noticed several of the students began to chatter amongst one another. While this was usually considered rude, he felt... sorry, almost, for the people that really had it rough with this exam. Deciding to let them continue to chatter, he walked over to Diana's desk, and took the mid-term, looking over her incorrect results.
However, there was a pattern he noticed with the incorrect answers: the topic was the same, and where Diana went wrong seemed to be the same step, every single time.
Now, by itself it would be a cause for concern, but then another thing hit him; everyone else except those that did well struggled in the same area. And so, he realized that perhaps the exam might not have been fair; going back to look over the paper, he realized that it was the case: every one who didn't do well got little to none of the answers correct on the same topic: limits. This was hardly fair, and so he turned to the class.
"Attention, attention everyone! Please!"
"Alright, well, as it turns out, there happens to be one topic that everyone that didn't do well on, did not do well on: limits. Seeing that the material may not have been covered well enough, I am going to do the following: at a later time, to be determined by tomorrow, I will offer a somewhat smaller test covering only the topic on limits, and I will average the result of your that test and this mid-term, and apply that as the grade for your mid-term overall. As limits is a rather difficulty subject, I will make this test a partners test; however, this time you will not be able to choose your partner; you will be paired together according to how you fared on this mid-term."
"If you feel you have done well enough on this test, you may opt out of the make-up. To be fair to the ones that did well, I will thus increase the weight of the mid-term relative to your overall grade should you choose to take the limits test."
"Be warned, however: should you choose to take the limits test, the averaged grade will be your true mid-term grade, regardless of whether or not you did better."
Jon then looked at the time; 10 minutes until class was over. He had a few more things to say, but he'd hold off for the moment. First, he walked over to Jax and Cho'gath, and spoke to them.
"Both of you, see me after this class is over, ok?"
"There's only one thing that I know for sure is true: 'Truth is relative.'" -Jon
"What side you're on isn't of concern to me. What is of concern is that you're hurt, and I need to treat you for it." -Jon
"Contrary to what some believe, violence does not solve everything. In fact, it solves nothing." -Jon

Despite the fact that school already started, a small Yordle girl happily skips through the front doors without a care in the world. The Yordle looks as if she belongs in a fairytale with large green eyes and hair that extends to her ankles, however there is definately something...off about her, espetially if you take a good look into her eyes. She is currently wearing a small purple backpack along with a large hat covering her head. Fluttering close by to her is what appears to be a tiny boy with butterfly wings wearing a bow tie and a tiny backpack of his own. The Yordle and faerie randomly navigates the schools various corridors with no apparent destination.
Well of course i have no idea where I'm going! do you?? .... yea...it does make it hard to find a class if they don't tell you where it is. ..... well i don't see you making any ideas! so yes we're gonna wander around until someone finds us! .... We can find some food later! we really need to find out what are classes are first! .... alright lets turn left then!
Both the yordle and the faerie continue to get lost in the school.
You find us funny, do you not? A source of amusement. Is that not so? With our pretty clothes, and our convoluted circumlocutions and our little silliness of manner and behavior. And perhaps we are funny... But you must never imagine, that just because something is funny,it is not dangerous.

The note, her subtle smile. He intentionally fixed his gaze upon Mr. Lewis as he gave his spiel about the new test, which he would absolutely have to take. Limits. All right. That could raise his grade to an 84--85 if Mr. Lewis rounded up. Still not great, but likely not enough to ruin his class ranking. It would have to do.
He brought the neatly folded square down into his lap, unfolded it quietly beneath the desk:
It was busy; lots of family to deal with, and got some writing done. I've got gym next period- bleah- and then Chemistry. You?
Writing? Crimson eyes wandered furtively over to her desk, upon which lay a notebook she seemed to be writing in at that moment, likely not taking notes about Mr. Lewis' upcoming make-up exam. He wondered briefly what she wrote, but decided better than to ask, replying in his austere hand:
"Ugh. I have gym next too, with Coach Pantheon..."
His pencil hovered over the page a few unsure moments before he re-folded it and passed it back. Then he returned his attention to Mr. Lewis, slightly hunched, his fingers interlaced beneath his chin.
