Veigar jumps on the teacher's desk at the end of the class and points him using a big ruler.
"An "smaller test"... IS THAT A JOKE? I demand A LARGER TEST!!"
The tiny student of evil was obviously angry with the use of the word "small" in front of him.
Jon turned to face Veigar; the look on his face was definitely not happy. Taking three somewhat long steps to face him, he deftly took the ruler from his hands in one swift motion, and addressed him in the sternest of manners.
"Mr. Veigar... should I ever hear you have an outburst like that again, not only will I automatically hand you a Zero for your mid-term, you will also serve a week-long suspension, effective the same day. Am. I. Clear?"
"Now, as to what I meant by 'small,' I meant that the test will have less questions, and thus require less time to complete. However, I will not tolerate such behavior in my class. Ever." And with that, he returned to his desk.

(Might as well make my introductory post!)
Karthus was making his way out of the teacher's lounge, carrying a mug filled with iced tea as he prepared his notes for the first class of the year. Now that winter break was over, some new students were transferring into his class...and others had, regrettably, transferred out.
Karthus did not let this get him down, however, as his thoughts turned to the next unit he would present to his students: a choral unit in Music. It was one of his favorite units to teach, and, in his mind, was definitely a thing to look forward to.
On his way to the Music room, Karthus ran across a small Yordle girl, bearing an extravagant hat and accompanied by a smaller-yet faerie. Last he checked, the first classes of the day had not finished...He stopped the yordle girl to ask her what she was doing out here.
"Do you....Have a hall pass?" The lich asked in a raspy tone. "Or are you...Just lost?"
The note, her subtle smile. He intentionally fixed his gaze upon Mr. Lewis as he gave his spiel about the new test, which he would absolutely have to take. Limits. All right. That could raise his grade to an 84--85 if Mr. Lewis rounded up. Still not great, but likely not enough to ruin his class ranking. It would have to do.
He brought the neatly folded square down into his lap, unfolded it quietly beneath the desk:
It was busy; lots of family to deal with, and got some writing done. I've got gym next period- bleah- and then Chemistry. You?
Writing? Crimson eyes wandered furtively over to her desk, upon which lay a notebook she seemed to be writing in at that moment, likely not taking notes about Mr. Lewis' upcoming make-up exam. He wondered briefly what she wrote, but decided better than to ask, replying in his austere hand:
"Ugh. I have gym next too, with Coach Pantheon..."
His pencil hovered over the page a few unsure moments before he re-folded it and passed it back. Then he returned his attention to Mr. Lewis, slightly hunched, his fingers interlaced beneath his chin.
Keeping her eyes forward, she reaches out her slim hand to accept the note, her demeanor calm. If her partner in crime doesn't actively look to avoid it, a fingertip might brush his.
I guess I can take the new test, if it's at a good time. The grade she received wasn't wonderful, but it would certainly suffice if needed. The rest of the lecture seems unnecessary, so she looks to her notebook, and turns the page, partially obscuring the note from anyone on her other side as she unfolds it.
Rose stifles the grin that threatens her composure. It's fun to be in school again, not that she'd admit that, and the quiet rapport that perhaps they'd established was more fun.
Same teacher, even? Cool. We can partner for some of the activities, if you want- might make the class half-bearable.
Her cursive weaves across the page in a manner that's more efficient than elegant, but it's perfectly legible. A few quick folds, and then she pauses- on an inner flap of the page, she leaves a tidbit of text, half-hidden by its odd location.
I like your coat.
The message complete, she rests the paper lightly on his desk, still smiling. Her posture is naturally straight, but the collar of her jacket and her hood both seem to speak to a certain shyness- she'd be willing to vanish at any moment.

((Funny, I wanted to do Physics as my 2nd subject; and to clarify, I'm not the one running the list, Master Yi is. Which makes me ask; if you're taking history, is it ok for me to take Physics as well?))

Teemo was about to speak when Mr. Lewis speaks up. He sighs and looks at Rumble mournfully.
"I'm not gonna be taking that test, 'cause... well..."
The young scout gets up and moves over to his desk, picks up his test, and holds it up for Rumble (and anyone else looking in that direction) to see.
"...u-uh...yeah..."
Rumble stared wide-eyed at Teemo's test for a good five seconds. In the next instant, Rumble pranced off of his seat and grasped Teemo on the shoulders, locking their foreheads together. His voice was raspy and he spoke extremely quickly.
"You got the A? You've got to teach me everything about limits. Trig limits, L'Hopital's rule, convergence, divergence, everything. What if I get a bad partner? What if I fail the test again? I can't afford to fail this test again! Help mee-ee-eeeeeee...."
Though Rumble didn't know it (because he didn't actually check over the grading that carefully), he did perfectly fine on the limits portion of the midterm. Unit circles and the back page were his only problems on the test.
Opening the door, Cassiopeia peered in, and seeing that most of the students that had arrived were obviously preoccupied with the last test that the teacher handed out.
Finding her own desk - noting that her new friend was right beside her - she sat down and looked at the piece of paper that was lying face down in front of her. On the backside Cassiopeia immediately saw that she had gotten more than half the questions on the page correct. A big grin spread over her face as she turned the paper. A 79!
Cassiopeia was silently celebrating when she remembered to ask the creatures name. She leaned over towards him"Pssst.. I forgot to ask earlier - what's your name? Mine's Cassiopeia :D. " She whispered as a slight movment to her right caught her eye.
Cassiopeia had noticed that Diana had sat down next to her , waving to the girl as Diana had never made fun of her - she was quite sweet really. Although maybe could use a new bag, Cassiopeia decided that Diana would be her second friend of the new term, she was certain that Diana would never pass up an opportunity to go shopping together.

Teemo tensed, his fur bristling and cheeks blushing fiercely. Rumble was asking him for assistance? And he was holding him so close, too! It all felt very strange to the young scout. All he could do was stare, biting his lower lip and nervously putting his hands on Rumble's.
"Y-you're... holding our heads together... um... sure, I can help if you want. Limits a-aren't very hard, anyways."
His eyes slowly move around Rumble's body, then to other parts of the room. He couldn't tell why, but he felt both embarrassed and comforted by the situation he was in, making his face heat up and knees shake a little.
Karthus was making his way out of the teacher's lounge, carrying a mug filled with iced tea as he prepared his notes for the first class of the year. Now that winter break was over, some new students were transferring into his classes...and others had, regrettably, transferred out.
Karthus did not let this get him down, however, as his thoughts turned to the next unit he would present to his students: a choral unit in Music, and a History of the Rune Wars in Historical Studies. Both were subjects of high interest (At least, in Karthus' opinion), and were definitely things to look forward to.
On his way to the History classroom, Karthus ran across a small Yordle girl, bearing an extravagant hat and accompanied by a smaller-yet faerie. Last he checked, the first classes of the day had not finished...He stopped the yordle girl to ask her what she was doing out here.

oh hey a Teacher!!! actually yes we're very lost! I'm the new student and i was supposed to get my schedule from the Principle or something.
The Yordle smiles widely at Karthus
oh! i forgot, My name is Lulu! and this here is my best friend Pix!! Nice to meet ya!
You find us funny, do you not? A source of amusement. Is that not so? With our pretty clothes, and our convoluted circumlocutions and our little silliness of manner and behavior. And perhaps we are funny... But you must never imagine, that just because something is funny,it is not dangerous.

Rumble relaxed his hands a bit and separated their foreheads. He smiled at Teemo and chuckled. "Heh heh, thanks Tee. I knew I could count on you."
He suddenly brought their foreheads together again and tightened his grip on Teemo's shoulder. Rumble brought his voice down to a harsh but worried whisper. "But he's averaging the grades this time! What if I do worse? I can't do worse! That means I'll fail this class! I'll have to study extra extra hard for this test! Do you think I should take the test? Maybe an 85 isn't so bad. But it's a B! I can't live with a B! I need to ace this test! Oh, but what if I get something lower than a B? I can't let that happen! That means I'll get something lower than a B! What should I doooooo?"

((Gonna say he came back.))
Malzahar came back, good as new. He let out a sigh of relief, knowing that nothing was going to happen... At least not here...
He walked back to his seat, looking back at his test with a sigh. After a minute of mental silence, an Icathian voice rang out. "I still think the human did a terrible job grading your test." Okay, that was it! Malzahar just slammed his hands on the desk, eyes shut tightly. "JUST SHUT UP!". Of course, he was just talking to the voices inside his head. However, his fellow classmates may think he was talking to them. Though Cho'Gath and Kha'Zix may understand what's happening to him. He grumbled to himself in embarrassment, as he wrote his schedule in Icathian... Damn it...
