((Dangit Teemo :<))
Rumble looked at his surroundings and noticed Swain and Ahri. He knew they were one of the smartest students in the school, and it was unlikely Swain or Ahri got anything below a B. Rumble wasn't exactly in the top 5% as they were, but that was because Rumble didn't care about his classes other than math, physics, and chemistry. He specialized in math and physics especially, always studying extensively for those courses and sometimes going beyond the material that was taught to him.
Rumble was so preoccupied worrying about the midterm and his tardiness that he didn't notice that he slammed his friend Teemo on his way in. Rumble got up and hurriedly walked over to Teemo to apologize.
"Sorry, Teemo! I didn't realize I slammed the door on you!" Rumble scratches his head and sighs. "Kinda too busy thinking about other things right now..."

Jon noticed Teemo fall over, so he went over, and helped him back up.
"There you go, Teemo. You should be fine, but if there's any trouble, don't hesitate to ask me for a nurse's pass," and with that he turned to the rest of the class.
"No questions? Very well, I shall now hand out the mid-terms," and with that, he handed out the exams. The grades went as follows ((NOTE: only the taker themselves knows of their grade unless they choose to reveal it to others.)):
The Mid-term was worth up to a 100 points. ((Also, if anyone else joins during class, I'll add your grade here.))
When he finished handing out the Mid-Terms, Jon spoke to the class again.
"Well, you can see for yourselves where you all fare... take a few minutes to look it over, and then I will go over the answers and work. If I have made an error in adding up your score or otherwise grading your paper, see me after class, and I will attend to it." With that, he returned to his desk, and began to check out the solution guide he wrote to the mid-term.

"Whoa.." Jax couldn't believe that he somehow managed to be on the best grades of the test. 84? he hadn't even focused that much on studying for that exam at all!
he turned to Cho'gath, before showing the exam to him and telling to him
"Wow man,i can't believe i got this lucky, what about you?"

Malzahar looked at his grade, worry in his eyes. Already, the voices began to ring in his head. "31? Fah! What does that human know? Nothing! Do not worry over such a score he will do a poor job of protecting this pitiful world as he did with your grading!" The voices echoed. Slowly, they began to intensify. He clenched his head in frustration. It was mostly because of the voices, but the grades were a problem too. He barely did any of the questions, the voices distracting him the entire test. They didn't even help him,.they just said stuff half of which he didn't even UNDERSTAND! He just kept clenching his head, hoping they'd just leave him alone.

A look of horror spread over the boy's pale face. 69?! Possibly the lowest grade he'd ever gotten. He spread his hand out over the big red number so no one else could see. He'd go over it at home, brood over his mistakes and make certain this NEVER. EVER. happened again...
He turned around in his seat, red eyes glassy with the let-down of failure and whispered to the Nine-Tailed-Fox, "Ahri... what did you get?"

Suddenly, the broadcasting speakers cracked to life with interludes of static and wind. A voice suddenly spoke out, coughing.
"Ahem, ahem, testing, 1 2 3. ... ... Welcome back from your Winter break, students! I trust you have had plenty of rest and study! Now just because it was a holiday doesn't mean it is okay to forget what classes you have! Best to write it down on a piece of paper so you don't forget, remember: Only 7 subjects perperson, or else you'll learn too much! And don't forget to show up to your classes with all your papers. Have a lovely semester!"
((As in, write down what classes you are going to take so I can arrange threads and staff.))
After arriving late, Veigar sits alone in one extreme of the classroom, looks the rest of his classmates, without really care about the grades, in fact, he expected bad grades as usual. However the majority of the students seemed not very happy with classifications.
Shaco scoffed, and ripped apart the test, not bothering to look at the grade. He knew he got a terrible grade. He barely studied, and he wasn't motivated about math either. Sureeeee, the grade would hurt...but did he care?
No.
[glow=red,2,300][shadow=red,left,300]Demon Jesters don't care about grades.[/shadow][/glow]
"I don't think we even need to see my grade to know what I got." Shaco boldly announced to the whole class. "I received the A, of course. It was me, through and through. I studied, and I worked my buttocks off. And rest assured, it payed off."
Shaco grinned, winking at Dr. Lewis. "Isn't that right, Dr.?" Shaco raised his eyebrows while maintaining his signature grin. After blurting this out, Shaco proceeded to write down his classes.

A younger John, with a nervous grin on his face entered the classroom 10 seconds before the late bell goes off. The nervousness was of course a combination of being back in school and soon he was going to know how he did. Which he was sure he did fine. "Studied all week for that damn thing..." He muttered almost silently. He grabbed the straps on his backpack and pulled, rolling his neck and looking around. He spotted a seat near Ahri and Swain. Not to far off from a window too... Seemed like a good plan, they seemed nice enough from what he knew. He of tried not to let his eyes linger on Ahri too long, slowly blinking and swallowing the lump in his throat. She was definitely a sight to behold of course. He moved forward towards his new seat, chewing on his tongue and sat down. He exhaled and turned to the two, politely waving and smiling. "Hello."
It was then he turned and looked at the board. Wait those were grades and... That is a LOT of F's. Oh no no no. He bit his lip and his left leg bounced lightly. He unzipped his pack and looked through it. Still as messy as he left it. Organization was never really a strong point it seemed. He pulled out his journal and opened it, grabbing a pencil and idly sketching random things. Mainly anything steam punky. Already a few doodles or random steam punk super heroes were scrawled here and there. He slowly felt calmer as he drew, a smile on his face.

Rumble stared at the number in pure horror. No, there was no way he had gotten a lowly 85. Math was his forte! He had studied extensively for the test, memorized the math formulas, and practiced his problems daily! He should have gotten at least an A!
Rumble frantically flipped through the pages. Surely, something was wrong with the grading. Did he mislabel his units? No, that wasn't possible. He quadruple-checked his work on the midterm. Rumble didn't see any red X's as he flipped through the test, all the way to the back page and-
Oh.
Of course.
He had forgotten to do the back page entirely.
Rumble stared at the back page in pure despair, scanning through the unanswered questions. He put his arms on the table, covering the test, and slowly lowered his head in shame onto his arms. He mentally cried on the inside, for this scar would bring mental suffering to him for years to come. Though, he had to wonder - if he didn't get the A, who did?

Poppy giggles slightly at Teemo getting hit by the door when it happens. When she receives her test, she looks at it. More than she expected, math never was her strongest suit. She then turns to Rumble next to her.
"How much did you get Rumble? I got 77."
She then hears the broadcast and thinks for a moment before writing.

Having woken up late after an end-of-break party, Rose walks up to the school gates just in time to hear the announcement. She blinks, then shrugs the strap of her bag back onto her shoulder just as it begins to slip, and walks to her math class, deciding to write her classes down when she got there.
Dr. Lewis had already handed out the midterms, and the prospects weren't good. She was pretty sure she'd done fine, though; her mother had helped her to study, and math was all-too-easy for both of them. "Sorry, sir," is her quiet comment as she walks in, discreetly taking her test from his desk.
Only 79...? Well, it's not bad, based on the odds I had. She smiles, her subtle lipstick enhancing the expression to a rather nice effect- if anyone saw it who cared.
As unobtrusively as she can, Rose sits at the empty desk next to Swain. She'd always been something of a loner, herself, and had a bit of sympathy for him, after seeing the way Cho'Gath, Jax, and the others treated him. Because of her parental situation, she was... accustomed to bullies. Self-consciously, while sneaking a glance at Jericho, she smooths the wrinkles from her skirt, then bends down to take a notebook from her bag. It looks to be filled with stories, and the occasional illustration, as she flips through to write down her schedule.
1°: Math 2°: Gym 3°: Chemistry ((we must have Singed... if there's no Chem, I guess I can Physics)) 4°: Psychology 5°: Music 6°: History 7°: Literature
When that's done, she tears off a corner of the page, and scribbles a note to the pale boy next to her, slipping it under his test as he turns to speak to Ahri. In small, somewhat hurried script, it reads: "Hey, how was your break? -Rose" An innocuous thing, to be sure- it revealed a casual, friendly interest, and her name, if he didn't know it.

Rumble mumbled something that sounded more like an "I'm going to asphyxiate myself" rather than a straightforward "85." He lifts his head up ever so slightly when he hears the announcement about the schedules. Rumble slowly picks up a pen and writes down his choices.

"Mm yes, very cold." Cassiopeia agreed, "I'm freezing!" She let out a slightly forced laugh just as the bell rang. "Oh no! We'll be late for math! Are you in the same class as me? she asked,
Her eyes were frantic - this would be the first time she'd been late to any class, it would put a huge dent in her school record! Now she would never live up to her father's expectations. As the youngest member of the Du Couteau family, Cassiopeia had a lot to live up to.
Half leading and half dragging her new friend (deciding to ask for his name later) she went through the huge school, the math class being furthest from the entrance. Cassiopeia arrived just as the doors were closing.
