Caerys breathed a sigh of relief, though a man Gragas's size was exceptionally difficult to endanger. "Shall we continue this endeavor then? As usual, gentlemen first."
"Sounds like a good ol' plan to me!" Gragas cracked his knuckles, the distorted sound bouncing off the chamber walls. "Well then, lets get to it!" Gragas slowly but surely eased himself into the opening that the statue had revealed.
Caerys followed behind Gragas as usual, while picking up her lantern. She continues with her routine of marking the walls of their direction. The one handed flail swung comfortably to and fro in her one hand.

The opening revealed a spacious cavern, sparsely populated by stalactites and stalagmites. A flickering torchlight could be seen through another opening further along the wall of the cavern, accompanied by faintly-audible voices from out-of-sight.
Dorian said nothing, but it was clear he was getting agitated.
Gragas lowered his voice, making sure not to possibly alert the owners of the other voices to their presence. "Alright, let's check these fellas out, eh?" Without gauging the amount of enthusiasm from the other two, Gragas forged ahead, moving towards the torchlight on the edge of the cavern.
Caerys quickly ducked behind an outcropping, crouching down and waiting to see what Gragas would find. She was not particularly fond of attacking anyone that didn't threaten her directly, but she was also aware of how easier it was to resort to violence.

The voices were getting closer...The group could make out some of what they were saying.
"...going flawlessly. The Eye is starting to respond to stimuli as if it's master were nearby. Perhaps we've finally broken through the encantments."
The other voice spoke up. "Could it be possible that He's returned?"
"He's weak without the Eye. The Necrophidius would have ended him...And if he manages to somehow overcome the guardians, then our Lychgate will end him for sure."
Gragas whispered to Dorian as softly as he could. "Are they...talkin about you? Did the necromancers...expect us?" Gragas's tone was beginning to become worried, but his voice remained soft. If the undead knew they were coming, he was fearful of what they had in store for him.

Dorian blinked, surprised at Gragas' words. "What? Of course not! They must have just cast an alarm spell upon the door...I-I'm just an archaeologist!" He whispered back. "I doubt they were expecting anyone, just had warning of our arrival. We need to be much more cautious."
The footsteps grew closer, to the point where long shadows started to dance along the far wall.
"Do ooh...they're gettin' closer!" Gragas whispered fiercely, his barrel ready to detonate whenever it was needed. As the shadows shifted closer towards the party, Gragas tensed up, preparing to lash out at the owners of the shadows.
Caerys too prepared herself for a confrontation- namely by staying out of sight until she could ascertain if they were hostile. She would surprise the first wave should a fight break out- otherwise she would simply step out of cover.
