"Now now, no need for racism." Titus mocked while wagging his armored finger down at the yordle. He chuckled, the movement probably quite painful for the yordle as the foot shook, "Now, give me a reason I shouldn't kill you, like you were going to kill me, like I was going to kill you." Titus roared with laughter after his statement, clearly enjoying mocking the tiny creature.
Titus Flavius breathes heavily at that statement. He cools down before attempting to reason his opponent again. As he reasons, his voice tones down to a child-like innocent state.
"I-I-I just came here to look at stars! I didn't ask for this!...I just wanna look at the night sky...it feels cozy when your mind is in it...then you came a long and wanted to kill me..."
He looks to the side and sees his telescope his broken due to his own power in attempting to bring down Titus Acacius. He lets out a big groan before calming down.
"What am I supposed to do...huh? My camp is a mess, my telescope is broken...and I'm pinned down by you..."
"Bully? Are we still children now?" Titus asked, he only laughed as Flavius changed to a child-like voice, "Apparently so!"
Titus stared down at the pathetic creature under his boot, he found the current situation amusing. Titus saw most mages as bugs, and here he was about to squash one underfoot, "So, since you are at my mercy at this point, might as well ask you the standard questions. Friends, Family, lovers? Any of them you want me to talk to after this?"
Channeling his energy once more, Titus Flavius summons a black hole directly above Titus Acacius. At the same time, the ground begins to shake and crack once more. Miniature galaxies and stars start twirling around the battlefield before sucked into the black hole as Titus Acacius would find himself hoisted above the sky by the Spatial Permanence and damaged by the tidal forces at work.
What Titus Flavius calculated, the Black Hole's massive suction plus the levitating power of the Permanence should have the strength to hoist Titus Acacius up in the air...and closer into the dark mouth of the black hole.
Titus grunted as he was lifted into the air, he should have just killed the yordle right there and then. Atleast he still had a trick to play.
"Wrong move, still don't understand the sword do you?" Titus asked as he was raised into the air, only for him to slowly begin losing altitude. His blade was receiving more and more energy, making it even more heavy. it was acting as a weight, slowly getting heavier so he could lose height
The sword! It blinded Titus before and it must be counteracting the antigravitational effects from his power and the black hole. Hearing Titus Acacius mock him again, Titus gives out a sly smile.
Getting up, Titus Flavius defies him again. "I'm an admiral, Acacius! I don't make stupid mistakes..."
Immediately, he switches the role of gravity in the entire battlefield. The black hole above him starts to form a dark bow shock as lightning coming from that suction spontaneously strikes at the ground.
Now a powerful force of gravity coming from that Gravity Crush is going to slam Titus Acacius to the ground. Adding the final part from the Permanence where Titus Flavius slams him to the ground and possibly the increasingly heavy sword, Titus Acacius will accelerate at super high speed downward and slam into the ground.
Titus slammed into the ground with a loud crunch of metal and earth. His sword actually leaving a slight crater where it too had landed. Blood flowed freely from the helmet now, a steady stream instead of a trickle. An attempt to stand resulted in failure, not even able to push himself to his knees, Titus grunted with effort. His hands wrapped into the dirt, squeezing and then pulling, a horrible grinding noise as he dragged himself slowly towards the yordle.
"You......." The voice coming from Titus' helmet was raspy and his sentences were interrupted by coughing fits. Titus neared the yordle, and as he did he slowly pried his helmet off his head. His hair was matted with blood and his face was almost pure red, covered in thick red blood. He glared at the yordle, dragging himself closer and closer, "C'mere you little rat."
Titus Flavius inches away from his blood red opponent. He conjures up a small orb the size of his small hand and fires into the ground one meter away from Titus Acacius, hoping to give him a message.
"You've already lost...stop fighting unless you wanna kill yourself...give up!"
"Lose? To a mage? This ain't over yet, get over here!" Titus roared in anger, the man was losing it. A severe concussion was likely the cause of his continued fight, that and the pride of his mage hunter title and family. He continued to claw his way forward, leaving his blade behind him. One could just see a few tears through the blood that stained his face, maybe from pain, or the fact that he may have realized this was the end of the Acacius line should this yordle win.
Wanting to end the fight quickly, Titus Flavius forms a cosmic barrier around his bloodied opponent. It should trap him there and he won't be able to get out.
The little yordle said nothing as he walks closer to Titus Acacius. Sympathetic, he channels his energy to the bubble. Titus Acacius would notice twinkling dust as Titus Flavius would heal his opponent, but slowly and with time.
The healing felt good, it was a warm feeling, Titus gaze softened a slight bit as he looked at the yordle. The armor had a reverse effect on healing magic as it did on harmful magic, it amplified the recovery rate. He nodded to the yordle and wiped his face with a gauntlet before speaking, "Fine, let me out of here and I will let you go on your way. You have proven yourself to me and my family, you will not be hunted again mage."
"No wait! Healing takes time, Titus Acacius...I'm not Soraka as she can heal instantly..."
Titus Acacius would notice the color of the magic barrier change from blue to white.
"I made the barrier semi-permeable. Magic can't get through but physical objects can...though I prefer you stay here to get the full recovery."
He goes around to see his entire camp a mess. He gathers up a few notes from his astronomical journal seeing them to be intact. While Titus Flavius gathers up the other parts, including his broken telescope, he continues to clean up his camp. The camp fire is going strong despite the broken fissures and fluctuating gravity.
"You say you hunt...mages...why?" Titus asks while searching for more sandwiches.
Titus got up, wincing slightly as he wasn't fully healed yet, he could feel his bone slowly crackling back together. He made his way to the same boulder that had crushed him, pushing one of the split end over. He slowly sat down on the rock and stared at Flavius,
"It's been in my bloodline for generations, near the end of the second rune war. My family had decided that enough was enough, they saw the power and catastrophe caused by the magic. So they traveled, learning how to fight and kill, eventually they came to serve the city states, each Acacius normally chooses a different than his last. Finally a smith made a special armor for my ancestors, it was enchanted by mages from just about every city state. That armor has been passed down for generations, and I wear it now. Along with the armor came the title of Mage-Bane, we hunted mages for the city states, eliminating marks, killing anyone who got a finger pointed at them. The sword and shield came about during the third rune war, same story as the armor. It is my duty to honor my ancestors, so I do what they did, carrying on the Acacius name. I have yet to find a city state myself, no one wanted you dead by the way, I wanted to test my ability for the most part."
Titus chuckled at the size of the sandwiches, yordles did have a miniature world of their own it seemed, "No plans yet, an Acacius is not judged for his reason why he joins a city state, only for how well he serves that state. In other words, I can pick whatever one I want for whatever reason, as long as I serve it well in the end."
