Sablestone mountain range Febuary 23, 23 CLE 11 PM
Titus wandered through the rough passes that twisted between the Sablestone mountains. His armor clanked and clicked with each of his movements, he was obvious and the exact opposite of stealthy but he didn't truly care. His face held no expression underneath his helmet, he barely focused on anything other than the path in front of him. It was dark out and was growing increasingly hard to see.
Titus was searching for a certain mage within these mountains, it had come to his attention that this mage had a very powerful form of kinetic magic. Titus wanted to see this magic first hand and perhaps even "test" the mage. Apparently the mage came to this area often enough, perhaps Titus would get lucky and find him today.
Bandle City, Titus Flavius' House and Observatory Febuary 21, 23 CLE 9 PM
Despite being a rural town, Bandle City's plethora of lights blot out the stars and the night sky and Titus Flavius is ticked off at the light pollution that is happening at that time. The city is celebrating (as usual) and naval cannons are going off to give off the spectacular fireworks. Titus in his house and observatory could not see any stars and would imagine his colleague, friend, companion, prank enemy and ally Admiral Vabbo Spassy celebrating with a lamp on his little furry head. He thought that the celebration would be over after midnight hours and he can observe the stars and record them in his astronomical journal.
But as he went outside the door, he found a flyer that pertains to the same party, it turns out that it will last for 5 days. It's official to him. He's going to leave Bandle City during those days, take his clothes, tent, money, food, his portable telescope and journal and head to the Sablestone Mountains. He usually heads there if he feels like he wants to experience the outdoors.
Sablestone Mountain Febuary 23, 23 CLE 9 PM
His camp is set up, the fire burns warmly, and the little yordle aims his telescope upward. Titus Flavius intends to record a star that he thinks has a "hot gas giant" very near to the star. It is natural for the night sky to be filled with tons of stars; it can only be achieved without any light pollution. And Titus loves the calm moment of it. He looks at the telescope briefly and jots down his data on that certain star. He takes a sandwich from his knapsack and bites it.
He wouldn't know that Titus Acacius is coming. What he knows so far is that the Sablestone Mountains is a place of quietness...
Titus' clanking came to a sudden stop as he looked up to the sky, a trail of smoke billowed in the light breeze that passed through the mountains. His eyes narrowed as he followed the trail down to a patch of light some ways down the path. Titus again began marching, except now he had an obvious target.
He made no move to hide himself as he drew closer to the camp, he was clearly visible and his racket was now quite audible. He even spoke as he got to a certain point, directed at the camp, "You there, do you know where I can locate the mage that frequents these parts? He asked in a deep rumbling voice.
Titus is about to peer into the microscope to double his calculations when a deep rumbling voice emanated from nowhere. He searches for the direction of the voice. Titus then looks at a very armored behemoth. He looks armed with a sword and shield and he might be in a hunt for something.
"I have been informed of a mage's presence within these mountains and I am seeking him out. From what I understand he has a powerful form of kinetic energy that may be based off of spa-..." Titus cut his sentence short after seeing the telescope, his eyes narrowed at it and then returned to the yordle, "What are you looking at there?" He asked calmly.
Titus simply grunted in response, not caring much for it after all, "Have you seen this mage or not? He goes by the name of Titus I believe, not sure what race." Right after saying this Titus noticed the yordle's sandwich, a slight growl came from his stomach. "Got any food to spare by any chance? Haven't eaten since yesterday, wasn't expecting it to take this long to find the mage."
He hands out a fresh sandwich to Titus Acacius. When he heard Titus Flavius' own name said aloud, he's a bit surprised that the giant armored person in front of him is looking for him. But he doesn't know why. He decides to greet himself to whoever this guy is.
"Hey! I'm Titus and yea, I practice magic as well!"
Titus removed his helmet to reveal his face, clean shaved with dark eyes and brown, almost black hair. He then grabbed the sandwich and took a quick bite, he finished the bite and then spoke, "So you are the one I've been looking for..." Titus didn't speak again until he was done the sandwich and had donned his helmet once again, "Now I get to see what your magic is made of." He stated simply.
Titus stood up, towering over the yordle, more than an average human would, he drew his sword and removed his shield from his back. He pointed the sword down at the yordle as he stepped back a bit, "Come on fuzzy, let's see what you've got."
Titus Flavius squealed a little when the tip of the sword points towards him.
"W-w-w-what's going on?"
"Oh my gosh...Is he really gonna kill me?"
Titus takes extra steps back while charging up his cosmic energy. His breath becomes more concentrated and rapid. He doesn't know what's happening. A peaceful night in the Sablestone Mountains may turn into a bloody duel and this knight might kill Titus. No one is here to save him and Titus is on his own.
"My name is Titus Acacius, most magically talented folk know me as "Mage-Bane". Now get on your feet." Titus ordered before placing his shield in front of him in a defensive manner, a grim look on his face under his helmet. "Like I said, let's see what you got." Titus said mockingly.
His skin grows cold at the realization that he kills mages as a sport. And Titus could be next. He tried to reach for his gladius but then realized that he left it at home. He has no weapon and how he has to rely on his own magic. Titus doesn't know what his opponent is capable of nor does he even know if his kinetic magic can pierce him.
"I'll give it to you..." Titus growls, determined to not die in the quiet night.
He bends time to conjure up a glowing white sphere, nearly equal to the yordle's size. The sphere hums in a low key and Titus has created one of his common spell, the Temporal Blast.
He releases it and the sphere travels fast towards Titus Acacius' location.
A slight chuckle escaped Titus as the ball of energy came at him, he brought his shield up to take it head on. The blast from the orb would force him backwards, sliding on his feet but other than that it seemed to have very limited effects. As if in response Titus slammed his blade down on the ground, cutting into it like butter. He pulled it up as if it were still the same weight and charged at the little yordle, slamming the blade down at him.

When the smoke cleared, Titus is in shock to see very little effect on his own larger opponent. He again resumes his battle stance preparing for Titus Acacius' charge. Direct attacks will not work it seems. Titus immediately taps to his telekinetic powers and aims his palms at his charging opponent.
If his power does go through the magic armor, Titus Acacius would be suspended in the air. Then the yordle would slam him into a nearby wall of rock.
If it fails to even lift him up to the ground, there is no way that he could dodge his slash.
Even with Titus' magic resistant armor the telekinetic power still had some effect, lifting Titus' off the ground for but a split second. However due to his heavy armor when he crashed down he fell to one knee, the swing was interrupted completely by the sudden lift. "Nice party trick." Titus commented before attempting to stand.
