Alright, so I recently started getting back into composing musical scores for fun! I use a free program called MuseScore to compose pieces. While it isn't the best out there, it is fairly worthwhile for a free program, and it works for both Windows and Mac.

Here is the first piece I ever composed...for real. I do play the guitar and the alto saxophone, but this is truly my first composition. By no means am I a top grade composer or anything. I am welcoming constructive criticism from you guys to make my music even better!
Now, why would I post this thread? Because...I am working on some compositions based on some RP that has occurred here at Maelstrom! In fact, I may or may not (hint hint) have a composition in the works based on the Ionian Festival!
So yea. Feel free to give me constructive criticism about my music or suggestions on what I should do next!

For a first composition, this is actually really impressive. So far, the only suggestion I have is to expand more on the ending. I was expecting the piece to go on longer, but the ending came too soon and it was very stale. You could try something else rather than a one-note ending. :3
Other than that, great job on your piece. You should be proud.
And yea, I agree Rumble, I always have trouble on my endings, as I can't really think of anything creative for them.
Anyyyyyyyways, the Festival piece (yes, it actually exists) should be done by Friday, if not earlier. By then, unless people want me to do certain events, I will start working on a piece for the battle between Swain's forces and Brand.
Alright, I finished the festival piece, and you can listen to it here. I'll also put it on the OP as well, and keep a list running there of all the pieces I write.
Unless anyone has suggestions, the next piece will probably be about the battle between the Noxians and Brand.
Edit: Someone requested me to do a piece for the Freljord Void invasion, and seeng how there are many people involved in that, I will do so.
