Jon was initially surprised that Till returned the hug, but then realized why, and simply smiled, patting her on the back for the duration. When she gave her thanks, he simply whispered back "not a problem at all" before she broke it.
Turning to the Demacian, he nodded. "Till's right, no one called off the war, so we had better get going, or else the fight may as well have already ended by the time we get there." He turned to follow Till, drawing out his scoped M1 once again.

The men whispered quietly when they allowed the Noxian free, not pleased with the decision. Tahlem nodded to their plan to get moving and motioned his hand forward. " Everybody get a move on, we fight with a general of Ionia this day!" Which they responded with banging their weapons upon their armor and cheering.
" Just what i thought. No bloody Noxians are taking anymore ground while we still stand, onward!" Tahlem begin to follow Jon, the soldiers close behind.

Tilly continued to walk on, Sword on her shoulder. It wasn't long before the sound of war hit her ears again and she broke off into a sprint to find her squadron fighting the Noxian forces. "Till!" one of them cried out to her, seeming to be charged by their generals return, the Ionians fought harder against the Noxians. Tilly rushed into the fray, flourishing her Sword and striking down three Noxians, fighting along side her companions in war.

Jon noticed Till sprint off, and to him, it was the only cue he needed; drawing his rifle to a better position from which he could carry it while running, he broke into a full sprint after her, wandering into the same fight she had just joined. He immediately spotted a Noxian Sniper on a roof on one of the higher houses, and tagged him before he could pick off any more targets.
Switching to the field, he saw Till, again, moving a bit farther up than safety would recommend. Deciding to help her out this time, he rolled up his scope and moved to provide danger-close precision fire, targeting any Noxian that got too close to her that she was not focused on.

Tahlem heard the sound of battle return to his ears, it was time to hold the line no matter the cost. He immediately yelled orders to those following his lead, there was no time to waste. " Archers! Provide cover fire with the Para-medic." Three men moved to Jon's side, picking off targets and following the orders of anything he said.
" The rest of you lot! To arms! Follow my lead!" He unsheathed his sword and yelled a war cry, his men mixing their own with it, and charging into the Noxian troops slashing, blocking, and parrying. They worked as a war-band, covering each-other and sticking in close proximity.

Tilly struck down every Noxian in her way, focusing on on those in front of her.. a cry of death sounded out beside of her as one of her squadron fell. Tilly grit her teeth and only further her assault on the Noxian forces. "Till!" Another cry out to her. Tilly turned to see one of her squad, a young girl, about two years younger than Tilly herself was collapsed onto the ground, an arrow stuck in her knee. Tilly instantly turned her back on the soldiers and ran to provide the girl cover "Medic!" she called out to the medic, hoping there was something he could do.

Jon was busy loading a new clip into his M1 when he heard Till call out for him. Looking up, he saw what was going on and communicated to those with him before moving towards the woman and girl.
"Stay covered behind that wall over there and keep up the fire until I get back!" He ordered the archers, before moving up.
Slinging his rifle over himself, he reached Till and the girl, assessing the situation.
"Alright, contrary to popular belief, this is fixable, but I won't be able to treat you here; it's too dangerous," he explained to the girl, before turning to Till. "Keep the Noxians at bay; I'm gonna take the girl behind the line to be able to treat her more effectively."
With that, he hoisted the girl over his shoulders like he did to the Noxian earlier, and proceeded to carry her out of harm's way, back to the wall where he had earlier ordered the archers to hold said position.

The archers gave Jon a nod of understanding and moved to the wall, taking cover and keeping up a stream of arrows. Tahlem himself was in the fray being assaulted by two Noxians. One step. Parry. Block. Retaliate. He thrusted his weapon forward into a man much younger than himself, a look of surprise as he crumpled to the ground. His thoughts were broken as the other man attempted to cleave his head, tahlem ducked and sweeped the man off his feet, quickly plunging his blade into the mans chest.
He turned to see a young man of his group, about 18, get impaled upon a Noxian sword. He winced. Another one of his own lost, but, mourning was for later. Tahlem roared and charged forward, jumping at the man who killed his comrade.
When jon was returning with the injured, a noxian charged up on his side with a war cry. " NOOXXUUSSSSS" His blade swung to land a killing blow..but an arrow to his neck broke the power of it. He dropped the sword and grabbed at the arrow, gurgling and slumping onto his knees. The archer who landed the killing blow looked visibly horrified but recovered and continued firing, glad he helped somebody out.

The girl was crying from the pain, but as the medic carried her away, she was thankful. Tilly followed the two, keeping watch over them until she was sure that the medic and her comrade were safe before she turned back to the main force of Noxians. Narrowing her eyes, she stormed into the main battalion, striking down Noxians left and right, blood covering the ground completely red.

Jon reached the wall, where the archers were maintaining their positions. He put down the girl, situating her against the wall, and put on the ground his rifle while pulling out his satchel. Having his supplies ready, he assessed the wound; the arrow had entered the knee, but it did not appear out on the other side. Seeing a rough operation, he got to work.
His first act was almost surprising; he pushed the arrow further inwards until it came out the other end, so that he tip was out of the body. It hurt, and the girl cried out in pain, but Jon then delivered a painkiller immediately afterwards, and quickly the pain disappeared. He then cut off the front end of the arrow by sawing it off with his combat knife, and then pulled the remaining shaft out backwards, thus removing the arrow from her knee.
He then got out his tweezers and pulled out any splinters that got inside her knee, whereupon finishing that he applied a generous amount of Penicillin and Sulfur to the wound, to ensure that it would heal.
Upon it's application, he took out a special hextech bone reformer, and placed it where the knee-cap had essentially been removed from the knee; within the hour, it would regenerate the cap, and thus the girl's knee would be usable again.
Finally, he covered the whole knee with one of the bandages he had brought along, and secured it with a fastening pin, tapping it to make sure the bandage was secure.
"Alright, within the hour you'll be able to walk again," he told the girl, who only smiled back in response. Jon then turned to the archers.
"Alright, stay with the girl until reinforcements come, then fall in on Tahlem," he ordered the Archers, before picking up his rifle, and rejoining the fray that had now picked up; the Noxians were ever closer to the center square, and should they take it, the battle, and with it the war, would be lost. Seeing Till back in the fight, he resumed his covering fire, taking extra care to make sure he wasn't hitting her.

Tahlem glanced back to see the medic return to the fight, but the odds kept stacking against them. Their men died and it was a loss, Noxians replaced their soldiers like a machine. This was not looking to be in their favor.
He looked to the remainder of his men and that of other troops, in an attempt to raise Ionian spirit he yelled as loudly as he could " FOR IIOONNIIIAAAAA. DRIVE THE INVADERS BACK" Which seemed to have some effect on his own men luckily. He quickly fell back to the medic to give him a situations update.
" We are losing ground, this is not looking good for us." he looked back at the fray of clashing metal. " Not well for us at all."

Jon surveyed the situation; it was getting bad, and they were still quite far away from the central square. Giving a quick thought, he decided to move into action.
"Alright, it looks like we can't hold this particular area any longer. We're going to have to make our way to the central square directly from this position, so it's going to be a fighting advance."
"It's not a great option, but there isn't a better one right now, and the central square is where the main Ionian force has congregated. Best bet is to get there as soon as possible. Unless you got a better idea?" He asked Tahlem.

It was their only option. They needed to reach the main square to hold with the rest of the Ionian forces. It would be a long shot, but its better than being overrun from lack of men.
" Its not a perfect plan..but its a plan. We must rally the men to push on" He yelled to Tilly " GENERAL! WE NEED TO PUSH TO THE MAIN SQUARE." He hoped his call overshadowed the clashing of troops.
Tilly heard the words clearly as she began to force her way deeper into the Noxian crowd. Her blade cutting them down in her paths. "Forward!" She ordered, her squadron soon following her assault as they pressed on, spilling Noxian blood as they did.
Tilly looked behind her to make sure the medic and the Demacian were following before pressing hard on.

Jon noticed Till moving forward, and simply elected to continue the covering fire he gave Till. Hand-signalling the archers to return, he specifically ordered them to keep the general clear from any ambushers.
Looking forward, he could see the center square in the distance. They had half a mile to go... but there were Noxians coming in from the side-streets left and right. It'd be a hard-pressed fight to get all the way to the square...
"Well, I darn hope the Noxians didn't overrun the final position by the time we get there!" Jon thought to himself somewhat desperately in his mind.
