Shyvana simply took another bite from the rabbit, simply listening to Quinn talk while she ate... only did her head turn in the direction of the scream when it rang out, causing her to drop her meal and narrow her eyes. As Quinn mentioned the bandits, Shyvana let out an angry growl, and didn't even hear the rangers last words as she sprinted off into the direction of the scream.

Quinn's eyebrow shot up as Shyvana took off without another word; it seemed like the half-dragon was intent on doing the same, albeit in her own way. She quickly followed. Hopefully Shyvana wouldn't do anything too irrational, though she wondered what exactly she could do to stop a rampaging half-dragon. But that was the least of her worries, for after the initial scream, not another sound had issued. She shook her head and kept her head low, the branches crackling as she pushed past them. Though Quinn was not the kind of person to worry in the midst of it all, she could not help but feel a sense of dread wash over her.
It had only been a few seconds later when Valor's harsh cry echoed back to her as he swooped overhead. Her eyes widened. "Shyvana, stop!" She yelled. Valor had told her of some traps the bandits had laid ahead, and despite the ranger's confidence that the half-dragon could handle herself, she did not want to be caught in the tail end of such ferocity. It was not so much for her companion's benefit than for others. It was a party that had come back from a 'merry' night of raiding, and had decided to take a few spoils of war along with them. It was unusual, but not uncommon.
Without waiting, she darted to the side in an attempt to round the camp without being spotted - if Shyvana got herself caught, it would be better for her. The distraction would do her well to release the prisoners and get out before anything happened. She just hoped that Shyvana would not lose herself.
Shyvana had heard Quinn's warning, but did not care for it as she barreled on ahead... Only to fall into a hole, growling in pain as a spike was thrust through her arm. "Look what we got here, boys." A bearded man said as a few more men gathered around the hole. "Looks like we caught us another fun for the day." The man smirked a little.
Shyvana growled at the men, then growled again in pain as a bullet tore into her leg from the flint lock of one... they hurt, but all it was really doing was further pushing her anger as the men made fun of her and shot at her some more. If nothing was done soon, the beast within Shyvana would awaken, and the men would know the meaning of agony.

Quinn had already sped off too far, and so she was not sure if Shyvana had heeded her warning. However, something seemed to be rousing the bandits, some of them lumbering onto the outskirts of their camp while others remained behind to stoke their fires. Valor flapped his way to her outstretched arm, beak snapping as he confirmed what had happened. So the heated half-dragon had gotten herself caught into the trap anyway. This simply meant that she was on a deadline.
A quick glance around showed that the prisoners were tied up on the ground near the fire with a trio of men drinking and eying them lecherously. She could not see their faces shrouded in the shadow, but she had a feeling they were not unfamiliar. "Careful, Valor. They have guns." She said softly, as she flicked her wrist. He seemed to roll his eyes in response, simply speeding out with a loud screech issuing from his royal-blue body.
As easy as that, the bandits were yelling as Valor attempted to wreak as much havoc as possible. Pecking at their faces, tearing at their hands and weapons, claws raking forward to tug at their hats and hair and all the while, swerving and dodging their blind shots. The light the fire provided seemed to work more in his favor than in theirs. As her companion was doing the best he could, Quinn crept forward, making sure that at least one person saw her as she pressed a finger to her lips. She produced a small dagger from her boot and quickly began to cut through the thick rope which bound them.
The bearded man continued to leer at the half-dragon caught in the pit with lewd triumph. It was too dark to really tell who they had caught, but it didn't matter. Netting her was going to be a bit of a problem, but one bandit had already done the work of maiming at least one of her legs with his weapon. Perhaps the other one too, just for good measure. He gestured for a gun, and having one presented to him, snatched it up and took aim.
A sudden cry of warning rang through the air, chaotic yelling and screeching forcing his hand as he looked up and back to the camp. "Fuck!" He cursed, tossing the weapon back to one of the other bandits, "You bastards sit here and watch this one. I'll have yer head if she gets away." With that, he took off back to the camp.
The work Valor was doing was quickly becoming ineffective. Quinn only needed a little more time. "Once the rope falls, get up and run." She said to the group of five, "Do not turn back." She didn't stop to wait for affirmation as their bonds were finally cut, falling to the ground gracefully. The ranger helped one up, "Go! Into the forest!" The urgency was clear in her voice, and she watched them file past her hurriedly. The last, however, finally glanced up to meet her eyes and Quinn almost bit her own tongue off. But now was not the time for surprise or shock, and she roughly pushed him forward.
The bearded man who had been terrorizing Shyvana previously was speeding towards her. "Valor!" She cried, and the bird was immediately on him, slowing the bandit down with his sharp beak and claws. Quinn would have gone with those who were escaping, but she needed to make sure Shyvana didn't do anything the ranger would regret for not stopping her. The cutlass the mongrel was holding was dropped with a howl of pain as Quinn shot a single bolt through his shoulder, darting right past him to the direction he had appeared from.
"Hey girlie," though the bandits had heard the cries of their fellows, they were not so much afraid as drunk and much too obedient to their leader. The one who had spoke knelt to the edge of the pit, peering through the dim light, "How many of your friends did'cha come with?" He chuckled, waving his gun in the air, "'nough for each of us, I hope!" He laughed, spitting into the pit.
As Quinn and Valor snuck around, the bandits wasted no time laughing and poking at the Half-Dragon in the pit in their drunken stupor. "Come on boss.. when can we have fun with her?" One of them said, taking a huge gulp of the bottle in his had... only to be smacked up side the head by the bearded man. "When I say so." He replied bluntly, getting one knee and peering into the dark pit. "How does it feel down there?" He said with a wide grin.
"I will enjoy splitting you in half" Shyvana growled back. The bearded man laughed and took a pistol, shooting Shyvana in the stomach with it. Again yell of pain came from Shyvana... however, her anger was quickly rising. "This is fun boys, we should catch people more often!" He said to the men around them, only to have them laugh in agreement... then they too took shots at Shyvana.
By that time, the sounds of the screaming bandits had hit their leaders ear. He cursed and went to investigate... only to have his screams echo to. When the man got down on his knee and spat in the pit, that was the straw that broke the camels back. Shyvana let out an absolutely furious roar
The man continued to grin wide... until he saw her form shift and became much, much larger. His head followed hers as Shyvana's new form freed itself from the pit easily. "Holy sh-" but the man was cut off as Shyvana's powerful jaws clamped down hard on him, severing his torso from his legs. Shyvana viciously shook what was left of the man before she tossed him high over the forest.
The other man, now in a state of pure panic, fired the rest of his shots at the dragon, but they clinked harmlessly off of her reinforced scales. Shyvana then lumbered over to him and slammed one of her giant claws on him, pinning him to the floor. His shrieks of panic intensifying as pain surged through his body.
"What's the matter?" Shyvana growled, lowering her head to get a better look at the man. "I thought we were having fun." The man pleaded for his life, and Shyvana narrowed her big golden eyes. "Fine, I'll let you live... but on my terms." Shyvana growled in reply. The man thanked her... but his fears soon returned as the dragons teeth caught his clothing and carried him to the pit, dropping him in, and effectively burying the man alive.
Shyvana then turned her head and narrowed her eyes as another form came into view, she reared back, and was ready to douse the bandit in fire when upon clearer inspection, found it wasn't a bandit at all. Shyvana straightened her head and lumbered over to Quinn. The dragon's tail whipped around, knocking a few tree's over.
The dragon simply stared down at Quinn, lowering her head to get a better look at the ranger, her nostrils flaring in anger as her wings absentmindedly stretched out.

Too late was an understatement as Quinn heard Shyvana's infuriated outcry. Through the gap in the trees, she could see a bulk of shadow emerging from the pit and the bandits who had not already fled balking in fear. She saw the maw of the dragon dart down, enfulging the man who had tormented her and Quinn could only watch in slackjawed awe as what was once a man became a corpse, the rest of his body being flung into the far corners of the forest. Though thoughts on the half-dragon's mighty form was certainly rampant in her mind, a single question stood out - did they deserve to die so horrendously?
Even as Shyvana picked up another and threw him into the pit, his screams echoed as any other human being's might. What made her brand of justice different from outright brutality? Quinn bit her lip softly. Shyvana dealt with the inhumane through her means, and she did the same. But what brought about such actions, if not even more violence. Stooping so low meant they had brought themselves to their level. Yet the same could have been said for that assassin... except he was dangerous, and by order, meant to be put down. Quinn shook her head violently, banishing these thoughts and focused on the present.
Upon closer inspection, without the distraction of screams, she could see that the dragon was actually quite large. Whilst she had fought Shyvana on the Fields of Justice, the Institute had clearly downsized her form to a more manageable state. With no restriction, it was a formidable sight to see. Was she scared? Not quite. Was she impressed? Yes. After all, this was the first time she had seen a dragon in the flesh. Quinn barely flinched as a few more trees were toppled over, but she held a short breath when Shyvana stomped her way over.
"I don't know what they did to you," the ranger began. She looked up to see Valor hovering cautiously above them, "But did you really have t--" She stopped as the bushes rustled, and behind her, the bearded man burst into the clearing. He waved his pistol around with his uninjured hand... then stopped. His skin turned even more ashen. "D-d-d..." The gun fell to the ground. "D-dragon!" He screeched, and quickly pivoted on his heel, fleeing back the way he came. "You disgusting court pets," his feeble bleating could be heard even as he made his escape. Of course he would recognize Shyvana as being one of the only dragons even near Demacia. If the only.
Quinn frowned. "Let him go," she threw Shyvana an odd stare. "You have blood on your teeth."
Shyvana growled at the man as he ran, and was bent on following him until the rangers voice caught her attention. The dragon turned her head back to Quinn and narrowed her eyes once more. She then closed her eyes, and flames engulfed her massive body once more. Slowly, her form shrunk back to it's original size, Shyvana ran a hand over her armor. Blood leaked from the bullet wounds, but she didn't seem to mind.
Shyvana then matched Quinn's gaze, visibly calm... or calm by Shyvana's standers. The Half-Dragon then silently, walked past the ranger to examine the other side. "I suppose you released all the prisoners while they were occupied with me, correct?" Shyvana said, turning her head slightly back to Quinn.

Quinn tilted her head, waiting patiently as Shyvana's form dispersed. She saw the wounds and her flesh flecked with blood, but the half-dragon seemed to ignore them all. Perhaps the adrenaline was still running, but when it wore off... well, no doubt she would feel it later. She locked eyes with Shyvana briefly, turning as her companion walked around her. "I did," was her response, "I knew some of them, so I will be checking in on them later. Just to be sure."
She couldn't help but continue to eye the bullet holes, "You might want to attend to those," Quinn gestured, "The bandits around these parts have been known to use poisoned bullets." She tapped her hand against her crossbow, unsure of what more to say. The ranger would have offered to treat it for Shyvana, but she wasn't sure if the half-dragon would appreciate it. Then there was the strange suspicion that someone was still out there that nagged at her.
Shyvana looked at her wounds, raising an eye brow... those would hurt after a while, and the ranger was right, she should remove them before they caused too much more damage. Shyvana then walked over and sat down next to a near by tree, picking up a piece of large bark and placing it in her mouth.
Shyvana then took her fingers and individually dug the bullets from her skin with her claws... all the while biting hard on the bark, her eyes shut tight. Luckily, her skin was tougher than a humans, so the bullets didn't travel too far; however, it was apparent it still hurt a lot to dig them out.
After the final shell had been pulled from Shyvana's skin, the Half-Dragon spat the branch out of her mouth. She then stood up and rummaged throughout the bandits camp until she found a roll of bandages which she used to seal the wounds shut... she then returned and stood beside Quinn.. her eyes flashed, for she just now caught the scent of someone else.
"We're not alone.." she said quietly

The Night Hunter moved silently through the woodlands toward where she had last spotted the giant lizard, known as a Dragon... or more personally, Shyvana.
'What are they doing out here...?' She asked herself, crouching upon a low tree branch as she peered upon the more human of the pair. 'Quinn... that was her name' She reminded herself. The canopy of the forest would cover her from the soaring eyes of the rangers pet.

As Shyvana went about digging out the bullets from her flesh, Quinn looked away. "Make sure to get some antidote later," she mentioned. Valor had quietly left the scene to scout the trees, though the sun had already vanished. The moon was not yet bright enough for the eagle to see much - hunting in the nocturne was not his forte, and he quickly came back with a small shake of his head. The ranger sighed, thanking him anyway. Once the half-dragon had bandaged her wounds from a pillaged medical kit, she confirmed Quinn's suspicions. She chose not to say anything, instead trailing her eyes around the darkened forests.
Though she could see no better than Valor in the dark, she trusted her instincts. Her gaze lingered on one spot, where a swarm of colors flickered in and out of her vision. A dash of red - perhaps the gaze of a predator. "Whoever is out there," Quinn called out, though she didn't even know if it was a who. The intruder could have been an it for all she knew. "Show yourself!" Valor ruffled his feathers, tilting his head into the trees. Though she couldn't shake off the feeling that somehow, they wouldn't actually respond, it really was of no concern to her.
"If you want the bandit camp, feel free." Was her next suggestion, though she doubted that was the case.

Vayne continued to study the ranger. 'Foolish...' She shook her head. The raising moon reflected off her sunglasses, seeming as if a pair of great crimson eyes of a predator bore into the Demacian Ranger and half-dragon all at the same time.
Then she leaps down to the forests floor. Slowly, she walked toward the pair. The blood red cloak fluttering behind her as leaves crunched under foot.
"You are very loud. Perhaps more so then her." Shauna spoke to Quinn and Shyvana, her voice low and almost seeming to echo around them as she stopped just before the clearing the other two women stood within. She remained hidden in the shadows. "More prey then predator."

Shyvana had heard the Night Hunters voice enough on the fields to know who she was. Shyvana turned her head in the direction of the voice and narrowed her golden eyes as Vayne seemed to be scolding her. "Loud? You should come a little closer, and you will see how loud I can get..." Shyvana retorted, growling slightly. Shyvana had no strong opinion of the Night Hunter, but the woman's arrogance was insufferable.

As shrouded as the Night Hunter was in the dark, Quinn could almost feel the air of distaste that radiated off of the aristocrat. Like Shyvana, she did not hold much of an opinion for Vayne at all, only that she was as mysterious as the bats that flocked to her on the Fields. Which was surprisingly amusing, when she had first seen them. "Sometimes the prey can become the predator," she stated, though the ranger wasn't sure to whom Vayne spoke to. The glasses she always wore hid the movement of the eyes, and her body language betrayed nothing.
Still, Quinn felt herself frown. "Are you here to reprimand us on the amount of noise we make, or are you here simply because you were in the area?" She folded her arms, even as Shyvana hissed her response. "I didn't think you were the type." Though she couldn't speak for the both of them, Quinn knew for a fact that aristocrats seemed to avoid the countryside like the plague. They enjoyed the city and its clean paths a little too much to dabble in the muddy fields. It was surprising the Night Hunter was even passing through here, and unless there was a 'dark demon' lurking somewhere, it was all very odd.
She looked to the side as Valor ground his beak, seemingly uninterested by the events currently unfolding. He never really held much interest in anyone. The clouds directly above them began to rumble. There was no questioning it - it was going to rain tonight, and Quinn still needed to make sure the captives got home safely. She turned to where the Night Hunter stood, knowing that she could only indulge herself in such conversation for so long.
