The land of the beast man of Ionia. Udyr's habitat was considered by many to stretch from the mountains in the distance to the smallest of saplings. Those who knew not where to find Udyr did not have to fear, he would find them sooner rather than later.
Few knew how to find him, fewer knew how to call him to them without warranting his wrath.
The proof that the state is a creation of nature and prior to the individual is that the individual, when isolated, is not self-sufficing; and therefore he is like a part in relation to the whole. But he who is unable to live in society, or who has no need because he is sufficient for himself, must be either a beast or a god.

Aurus walked through the tall tress of Ionia. He came here in search of Udyr. Few would chose to seek out the man beast intentionally, but Aurus wanted to meet him. The man was a master of Hirana martial arts.
When he asked the locals near the woods, them simply told him that we would not find Udyr. Rather, he should wait by a certain tree, then Udyr would find him.
After hours of hiking Aurus found the tree. It had white bark, which made it stand out from the others around it. It was dotted with blood red cherry blossoms.
Aurus made himself comfortable and sat against the tree. All he could do now was wait for Animal Spirit to arrive.

The woods were not disturbed. The birds chirped as they usually did, the animals were not disturbed, and no sign of Udyr was seen.
It was, however, heard behind Aurus.
"Why do you seek death?"
Udyr was standing on the opposite side of the tree. He did not move, and continued to speak to him. "We have been following you. Watching you. What do you want."

Udyr's sudden response surprised Aurus
Well that was quick. I should of assumed he would follow me in his territory.
He had heard the locals speak of Udyrs...eccentricity. He was definitely a strange man, based from his speech alone. But he was known to be very volatile and violent He had to be on his guard.
He stayed sitting against the tree as he spoke. "I am not here to die, I am here to learn. You are a master of the Hirana martial arts and I wish to learn from you."
Aurus drew his blade. It glowed with light as it turn into the shape of a wooden staff, six feet in length. Udyr would make the first move, whether it be talking or violence. Either or, we would be ready to respond.

"Tch." Udyr rolled off the tree and started to walk away. "No. Go to the Hirana monastery if you desire to learn the Hirana arts, and bring your stick with you. It will serve you better there than here."

Aurus stood as Udyr began to walk away. "I have learnt much in my studies of combat. I need to know if learning Hirana style is worth my time." He could just easily walk away, but he wouldn't let himself. This could be a powerful art to learn, one that could help him in his quest for justice.
He pointed his staff at Udyr. "Show me the strength of your Hirana style Animal Spirit. You'll find I am no easy fight and a quick learner."

Udyr stopped walking. 'Worth his time...' he thought to himself. The beast man than cricked his neck.
That was his only sign of aggression.
He seemed to fly over the fields as he catapulted towards Aurus, fire roaring about him, his fist aimed to cave in his challenger's skull in. The heat of his flames would be palpable, almost scorching already.

One second Udyr was walking away from him. The next, he was soaring towards Aurus, wreathed in flame. Aurus knew about the stances Udyr used on the Fields of Justice. The danger the phoenix stance came from the waves of fire it gave off after he used it. All he had to do was play defensive until the fire would disappear
Aurus leapt back from the man beasts strike, making sure to not get close to his flames. When the flames would stop, he would strike. A thrust to his chest with the staff.

There were three facets of danger to the Phoenix aspect, or stance as it was more commonly known. The first was obvious, the fires that wreathed his frame was palpable. The next facet was not easily seen, the invigoration of the muscles and spirit. The third facet was an oft forgotten one, he was able to manipulate his flames to sen out a gout of fire with a single strike. He may only do so for every third strike he made on the Fields of Justice, but here? Just like on the Fields, his only restriction was himself.
And sometimes the League. Asking him not to dodge bullets, arrows, swords or even fists any more.
The thought enraged him, making his flames burn brighter with intensity. When he landed, a burst of heat would wash over Aurus, the fringes of his clothing burnt. The beast man wasted no time and sprung towards his opponent once more, his fire still roaring with life.
Unlike the Fields, Udyr's fires of rage were only quelled by him and him alone. The grass burned, twisted from the intensity, the tree they were resting on started to smell of char.
The proof that the state is a creation of nature and prior to the individual is that the individual, when isolated, is not self-sufficing; and therefore he is like a part in relation to the whole. But he who is unable to live in society, or who has no need because he is sufficient for himself, must be either a beast or a god.

Udyrs flames would not cease. Torrents of fire continued to spill from him as he pressed his assault, forcing Aurus to fall back. While he continued to make flames, Aurus couldn't form any form of offense. It was foolish of him to think that Udyrs used his full strength on the Fields.
He couldn't get close to him, his singed coat evidence of that. He quickly sheathed his staff, causing it to return to it's sword form. He then redrew it, this time it took the form of a bow. He then started to launch a flurry of arrows at Udyr as fast as he could, while trying to dodge his flames and strikes,

The sheathing of the weapon allowed Udyr to close the distance, the heat of his flames becoming more palpable to Aurus, forcing him to start sweating from the fire alone.
Once he drew out the bow, the fires started to simmer and die out, though the flames danced around the beast man still. Udyr did not stop moving towards Aurus, and when the arrows were fired, he allowed the majority of them to strike.
The few aimed at his vital areas, the beast man caught with blinding speed and heaved the projectiles back at Aurus, as if he were making a point. The arrows that struck him did not necessarily embed themselves into him. His Turtle aspect was now prevalent, the arrows shattering upon impact on his iron skin.
The only arrows that struck true were the ones that were aimed at his shoulders and his arms. They managed to pierce his skin, drawing blood. Udyr's response was to flex his muscles, snapping the shafts off from raw strength as he continued to advance towards Aurus.
Whatever the beast man was planning, Aurus would have to decipher soon. Behind Aurus, the forest would start to loom as Udyr seemed to push him more and more towards it. For what reason though?

Aurus tried to dodge the arrows that Udyr returned to him. This however proved difficult and Aurus felt one grave his shoulder. And the ones that did hit Udyr seemed to have no effect.
Aurus began to realize how bad things were becoming. The few attacks he could use proved to ultimately be futile and he was slowly being pushed back deeper into the woods. A place that Udyr knew much more intimately that ne did. Going in there would certainly not end well for him.
He couldn't keep fighting at this rate and running would not stop his opponent. Aurus only saw one way out. He sheathed his weapon.
"I yield." he said, securing his blade to his hip. "It was foolish of me to doubt your skills and arrogant of me to assume you I was above them." Part of him knew that this wouldn't stop Udry, but it may save his life.

"We do not pity the defenseless," Udyr growled. His aspect suddenly shifted to that of the Bear, granting him a bust of speed that helped him close the distance, sending out a jab at Aurus' diaphragm. Jabs were normally meant to weaken an opponent's defense, disorient them, create openings.
Aurus would feel the jab similar to having a sledgehammer swung at his stomach with all of their might. Fortunately for him, the fire had died out by now, so the acrid heat was no longer an issue. For now.

The jab knocked Aurus onto the ground. His ribs were definitely bruised, maybe even broken from the hit.
There was no way he could stand another blow like that. He had no chance of winning. Even escape was pretty impossible now. All he could do now was hope that the man beast didn't kill him.
All of this because of a stupid comment.
He probably should have picked better words, but he did not expect such a violent reaction.

Soraka comes bursting through the trees, worry apparent on her face. She leaps in front of Aurus and blocks Udyr's next strike with her staff. The force of it causes her to stumble back a few steps.
"Udyr stop! You'll kill him!"
Once he stops his advance upon the Aurus, Soraka drops to her knees and puts his head in her lap. Her hand glows as she inspects the man's body for injuries.
The cruelty of one will not blind me of the suffering of many.
