"Data record entry number one, begin recording of log... now."
"It's been a... hectic, time, trying to get this force organized... but for the sake of the common living, people and yordle alike... there's got to be a force that can allow for innocents to be saved in any place, any where."
"And so, it is with this log that I officially state that the Piltover Medical Corps has now been established, empowered by the city-state of Piltover and approved by the Institute of War, to conduct rescue operations across Valoran, as well as being a security force for said rescue."
"With it, I also begin the recordings of any news that involves the Corps, hopefully with the intention of hopefully being able to provide a background and/or a history to anyone who might wish to learn of it's foundation, it's origins, what it does now... and where it might go in the future."
"The log's also open to all Corpsmen, so there will be other Medics, whose ranking cover the whole spectrum, who can also be providing information; there are built-in censors, of course, to prevent any malicious behavior, but I don't think my men would do that, so the logs are fairly open."
"Recruitment was straining for everyone involved. 1500 applied... I only took fourteen. But I know this won't be enough... there will likely be an expansion within the next three months, if only to ensure that the Corps won't be lacking good people, whether they be men, women, or yordle."
"For our arsenal, the process was incredibly convoluted... the government was initially against arming us at all, and when they saw the requested arms, they almost shuttered this force entirely... but they know that Corpsmen are going to face times where people do not observe the no-hostility rule when it comes to meeting a Corpsman... the Void comes to mind. And for this, we have thus been allowed to be able to arm, and arm rather well, I'd say; having the latest arms from the Piltovian Arms Company does have it's advantages, I say."
"Anyhow, the first 'missions' - more like tests to see how much the Corpsmen really learned from their training - will begin tomorrow, and I need to be there to observe, so for now, I'm signing off. Hopefully, the PMC can successfully carry out it's establishing objective: ensure that innnocents are protected and, if injured, rescued and moved out of harms way."
"Major Jonathan Xiang-Lewis, PMC."
