March 31st 23CLE
Vergil sat at a large table in the back room of the guild, he was arranging a meeting of The Seven for discussion of their next job. The job related a group of bandits that they had been contracted to take care of twice before and failed due to the bandits equipment, this time though he was going to be ready. He had sent word to Sylvia that re required Caerys to attend this meeting so that they were all on the same page, he wasn't going to be blindsided this time by mere bandits. This time the client had requested that they gather information from the bandits to find out where they were getting their equipment and where they were making their brutes, this time Vergil also had his head on the line and he wasn't going to be content with failure.

On the other side of the room, Sara was leaning against the wall. She had long piece of wood in one hand and her hunting knife in the other. She hadn't been able to recover all of her arrows from the bandits during the last encounter and so was now fletching new ones so she doesn't run out during combat.
Her head was covered by her hood as usual, hiding the fact that she was looking over to Vergil as she worked on the wooden shaft for an arrow. There was a lot of responsibility on the man, but that was nothing out of the ordinary to the mind of the Noxian hunter. Failure however... would not be tolerated for long.
"So... what is the next assignment? Bandits again?"
Caerys took the time to enjoy her limited autonomy each time she was rented out to the company others. There might’ve been no choice in the matter, but Caerys now fully acknowledged that combat thrilled her like nothing else could. It was the focus of her life, and she made the best of it.
Sylvia was becoming more and more busy, and thus Caerys was allowed to go and join the Seven by herself. She was even able to pick out her own equipment, and wore a complete arena outfit, arms and legs properly covered by stiff, dark leather. It also had a neck guard, but her head was exposed.
Still, she bemoaned that her abdomen was still partially exposed- and she didn’t have any means to get new wardrobe. The best she could manage was a travelling cloak that stopped just above her waist. She carried a pair of matching daggers, and covered the head of her impaler glaive and hung it on her back. She also brought along a backpack containing essential supplies.
The building where the guild stayed was certainly nondescript and plain, one of many hole-in-the wall taverns. Thankfully it was at least above ground. The woman entered, getting looks from the people who recognized her as well as most men who found her to be attractive; indeed made specifically to be so. She paid them no heed and proceeded inside.
Caerys looked about and nodded towards Vergil, then to the others. She said nothing, as she was her for her weapon skill, not her thoughts. She leaned against the wall to listen.
((Do note nobody knows Caerys's real name! she is Vermilion to everyone else.))

Eli sat at the table with Vergil, leaning back in his chair, eating an apple. He knew the boss was waiting for Vermilion to show up before starting the briefing. He waited patiently for the meeting to truly start, but was growing bored. Hopefully the strategy would be more intelligent than running into an enemy they know nothing about. He had a feeling it would be. Fighting these bandits gave him a feeling of an otter eating a shellfish. It hurts its teeth at first, but then it figures out to smash the shell on a rock.
When Vermilion entered, he gave a brief nod to her, but didn't say anything. The sooner they started this, the better. He took another bite of his apple.
"You might think you've won, but like a cornered animal, I don't give up!"
Titus sat at the table, his helmet in front of him. A cold glare set upon his face, he seemed to be unable to take his eyes off of the table. When Vermilion walked in he offered her the same cold glare, but with a slight nod. He turned again to face the table, losing himself in his thoughts as he waited for the meeting to start. He wanted to fight the bandits again, he wanted to end them this time, no exceptions.
He picked up his helmet and began moving it about in his hands, trying to keep his mind from wandering too much.

"Well, the client again is having uses with our friendly neighborhood group of Bandits, this time though he wants to know why exactly they are here." Vergil composed himself and looked at everyone sitting at the table, Lawin and Hyne were to his right while Titus Sara and Vermillion were to his left and Eli directly across from him. "This time I intend to go with a set of plans already preset so that we don't get ambushed again, and that is why this meeting has been called."
Caerys waited and listened for Vergil to get into the details. She looked around a moment when the room was a bit quiet.
"Well then... tell us your battle plan, and where we fit. Perhaps you'd prefer to turn the tables on them, and pounce when they are vulnerable." She spoke up finally, her voice confident, cool and calm as always. For someone who was a captive, she showed herself to be quite comfortable around people.

Sara finishes the shaft for an arrow and takes out an arrow head she created before and attaches it to the shaft and starts to add the feathers to the other end of the arrow to balance it as it flies.
When she finishes, she starts to carve another wooden shaft out of a piece of wood, all of the bits and pieces of wood falling to a box she keeps at her feet.
"Indeed, knowledge of the plan would be nice. I'd rather not have to get into close combat next time if avoidable. I don't think I can really stand up to some of the bandits with a knife."

Eli takes a bite of his apple. Formalities, so annoying. Hopefully Vergil had come up with a good plan, and could quit wasting time. "A plan! Good! Mind telling us?" His voice was dripping with sarcasm, making it clear that he, and hopefully everyone here, had easily guessed that this whole meeting was to discuss a new plan.

Vergil looked at each of his fellow mercenaries, he didn't expect them to all put pressure on him so suddenly. Vergil cleared his throat as he worked in his mind a plan to make sure that his team had confidence in his abilities as leader. "Our job this time involves us in getting information about the bandits, this information was to handed back to our employer who would then submit it to the high command so that they can be cleared out properly." He began by stating the job at hand, he then proceeded to state his recently slapped together plan. "I believe that we may start by infiltrating the bandits as to get as much information that way before charging in head first to scoop up whatever we may have missed." He turned his head to Vermilion. "The bandits have already seen us they know what we look like but however they have not seen our newest member, another alternative is getting one of Noxus' prisoners and have him do the scouting for us though that is risky as he would not be trust worthy." He stood up from his seat at the table. "Would any of you like to add your opinion?"
Vermilion weighed what Vergil said, reflecting on the situation and drawing parallels to her own experiences in the cutthroat nature of the gladiator house rivalries.
"We need an internal spy. A group of bandits implies a group of desperate men who do anything for their survival. If we can somehow find that certain someone in their group, someone who is put down by his fellows, someone who resents his station in the group... perhaps we can... bribe them with a better offer than what the bandits give him. Someone has to do the menial work in their camp. Finding food. Cooking, cleaning the chamberpots."
She paused and thought more on other possible strategies, coming upon the one Vergil implied. "...or I could do it myself and be caught by the bandits, perhaps under the guise of a merchant of fine foods and wine. Outlaws are often hungry, and food is usually perishable enough to be eaten right away. And, I'm used to fighting without equipment. However, gaining their trust will take longer than simply finding their discontent members."
She paused a moment to let her stratagem sink in. "Unless by some contrivance the bandits are run like a military, these are our likeliest means of obtaining knowledge. What do you think?"
She let out a tired sigh. There was one more way, a very convenient means of obtaining this kind of information... but she had no idea where her beloved Spooks was. "This sort of information gathering would be alot easier if we had a clairvoyant though."

Eli sat listening. He shook his head when Vergil asked if anyone had any suggestions. "None ye'. I'm no' the best a' with infiltration. Besides, i' seems like it's mostly up to Vermillion."
"You might think you've won, but like a cornered animal, I don't give up!"

Continuing to create more arrows, Sara listens to the plans. The first was more risky in case the one of their group to do it were to be uncovered... but the prisoner plan was untrustworthy. She was obviously not the one to do the infiltration, but she knew how risky that type of plans were.
"We have to be completely sure that the infiltrator is not going to be discovered if the first plan is to work. If they are uncovered, they are most likely killed, and we do not get our information.
The merchant plan could work... but only if the bandits were to take prisoners. Do we know if they kill everyone or have any of their victims simply gone missing?"
She finishes another arrow shaft and adds the arrowhead and feathers to it carefully before placing it in her quiver, having now replenished her arrow count.

Vergil looked down at the table as he went through formulating another possible plan, or was there another plan. Vergil looked back up at the group expecting to see someone stepping up with another idea as to what they might do. Something clicked in his mind, maybe instead of gathering the intel first they could wipe out the bandits instead and then collect the intel. "perhaps there is another way, it is true that from the last two encounters that we have located the bandit camp. It just so happens that Krutis has some weapons in storage that we may use to wipe out the bandits once and for all." He took a look around the room and awaited the groups response.

Eli raised an eyebrow at Vergil, curious to whatever weapons he may be talking about. He had a bad feeling about the idea though, it was probably some sort of stealth weapon or one of very long range that only a coward would use and would not bring any sort of challenge. At least with the infiltration technique they could still wipe them out the way people are meant to be wiped out. "Really? Wha' migh' these weapons be?"
