March 14, 23 CLE
After the... interesting events of the previous day, Teemo finds himself with a bit of extra time before he must leave for Bandle again. After a bit of debated he eventually decides to take a trip on over to Ziggs' lab. For a short while he strolls through Piltover, the scout passes by a familiar restaurant, and then a recreational complex soon after. He was nearing the lab, for sure now. A few minutes later and the large building where the dean spent a majority of his time was looming before the little yordle: The Yordle Academy of Science, specifically the building dedicated to Ziggs.
He makes his way through the front door, listening to the already ever-present sound of distant explosions and nodding to a few persons in the vicinity. Following this trail of noise, Teemo comes to a door that was obviously the lab in which the dirty work was being done. Of course, a simple knock would never be heard, so the scout carefully opens the door and peaks inside.

Inside the Hexplosives laboratory and past its well armored, 'explosion-proof' doors, the Expert himself was fast at work, eagerly planting his face into his work; literally. Ziggs, clad in slight armor and leather built to withstand even the worst of his own creations, had his face buried in papers and multiple explosive supplies, writing down whatever hazardous and carefree ideas popped into his mind.
"If I do this, combine it with the-OOH YEAH THAT'S GONNA BE A BIG ONE-the EXPLOSION resulting from thiiiiis mixture and thiiiis equation would be on the level of splitting an ATOM, HOOHOOAHEEHA! BOOM BOOM, BABY, yeaheheahye-this there, that here..."
The reckless little yordle couldn't help but ignore whatever newcomer entered his lair, the Swift Scout's gentle yet illusory tone of voice going unnoticed as Ziggs tinkered away near his dirt-filled testing grounds. The table his face was planted on was as messy as his bomb-fields were, possibly more. In an instant Ziggs sprung into action, another nearly insane idea running through his hyper-active mind and forcing him to search for experimental papers elsewhere.
So hyper-active, that he managed to trip over himself, nearing the door Teemo just so happened to be entering, falling flat onto his belly and helmet.
With a grunt and groan the Hexplosive Expert rose to a sitting position, rubbing the side of his blue and red helmet and adjusting his goggles, having offset them and revealing part of his green-toned irises. To his surprise, the Swift Scout stood nearby, in his line of sight.
"Oohagh...whoopsie! Hehe-....Teemo? BUDDY, PAL! ...What're you doin' in Piltover, huh? Nice to see ya' after the BLAST we had eating!"
Ziggs spoke, barely giving Teemo any time to say a word of his own as the yordle rose to a stand, still clutching his helmet somewhat.

Teemo watches Ziggs curiously, . He can't help but smile a little at the sight, and he didn't notice when the other yordle began scurrying closer. At least, not until he tripped. Quickly the scout steps closer, worried at first but not for long as he calms himself; he was also mildly distracted by the sight of dean's actual eyes. Teemo shakes his head a little to snap out of it when Ziggs speaks.
"Oh, I came here on a mission. Had to make a few deliveries and pick something up, as well as help Heimer out in his lab. But now I don't really have much to do before I go, so I thought I'd drop by to see how you were doing. It's nice to see you again, too, by the way."

"...That so?"
Ziggs' ears flicked about once, twice, a look of apparent surprise washing over his face; as much "face" that could be seen. A visitor for the Dean of Demolitions, the "Haphazard Buzzard", as he was one called, attaining a guest? This was simply uncalled for, unprepared for! ...Sure, he'd visited Teemo once before, but never the opposite. And others did not seem to particularly "enjoy" being around Ziggs when his explosive personality kicked in.
The last line Teemo stated even knocked him right out of his hyperactive state; if only for the moment in time.
"I've been good-great! Just working on my experiments, cooking up some really BIG EXPLOSIONS-...y'know. Nothing new, meheh."
Beyond Ziggs' emotion of being completely ecstatic that someone would visit him for something other than T.N.T or dangerous chemicals, something was to be pondered. Why visit him? Ziggs knew of what the others thought, how he was quite the annoyance to deal with or be around with his explosive ways, yet he was their Dean. They respected him to an extent. Especially after being told Teemo's 'secret'...His head shook upward slightly, realizing he'd been silently staring in thought.

Teemo smirks, unable to hold back a slight chuckle. This was definitely the old Ziggs he'd remembered. At least all of the trouble caused by the current Void situation didn't seem to be bothering his friend, here. Or at least, that's what he'd thought. Thinking of the Void brought another thought to mind as well.
"Actually, one reason I came to Piltover was to ask around for information on the Preservers if anyone here knew. I haven't really gotten much so far, though. It doesn't really matter, though. We'll figure something out eventually. So, uh..."
He nods in acceptance of his own statement before staring over at Ziggs again for no reason at all. For the first time in a while he wasn't even thinking of anything. If he had been thinking, he probably would have been wondering why he even came back to the hexplosives expert's place again, or why he was just standing around, watching him silently. Slowly he rocked on the balls of his feet, only looking away once or twice in the following silence.

Ziggs' standby began to make things slightly awkward both to him and his yordle visitor; seeing Teemo visibly 'bored' nearly made him spring into action. He may have been the only visitor Ziggs was to have in days, possibly weeks, without a single demand or request of the Expert's services. It had to last.
"OH! Well don't just stand there! If you're heading back to Bandle City soon we might as well do SOMETHING for the time being, huh? My uh..."
He looked over towards his testing fields, noticing a few bombs were left unsupervised, and armed. Soon enough each one gave off a fierce explosion, sending debris scattering throughout the dirt-filled mounds and the sound of destruction ringing through the yordles' ears. Thankfully both were nowhere near the blast zone.
"So THAT'S what happened to those bombs!" Ziggs continued with a chuckle or two, almost jumping with glee and excitement from the mere sight of destruction alone.
"...Work can wait. Gotta' be some fun we can cook up before ya' go! Maybe bring some mines, a few sticks of dynamiiiite....an INFERNO BOMB-...nah, too dangerous." Ziggs chuckled again, trying his best not to scare Teemo off like the rest.

Teemo blinks, not even covering his ears as the bombs explode. He'd been around Tristana enough where explosions didn't faze him anymore, and the smell of smoke was nothing compared to the stench of his own mushrooms. The boisterous attitude that the expert had was enough to make him smile and give a little snicker, feeling slightly silly for not having expected the high amounts of energy. After a few seconds of mild laughter the scout clears his throat, calming himself and placing a gentle hand on Ziggs' shoulder.
"Heh, sounds good, pal. Just make sure whatever we do won't cause too much damage. Fun is fun until someone gets hurt, right?"
He shrugs and smiles, though on the inside he felt that the comment was stupid. Why did he say something like that to Ziggs of all people? Oh well. Hopefully he wouldn't sound like a total idiot.

Teemo's resistance to such things didn't surprise the Expert; the things he heard from the others in the Academy about Teemo was enough for that. Rumors spread and false accusations were thrown about, leading Ziggs to wonder just what WAS going on during Teemo's missions.
Teemo's hand snapped him right out of thinking, again.
"O-Oh yeah, of course! Fun's fun until fun GOES TO BUNS! Doesn't have to be TOO explosive, anyway...meheh."
The thought of fun without a single explosion nearly disgusted him, but Teemo-and the yordles of the Academy-'s words were to be heeded; BE CAREFUL. Two words that did not seem to register very thoroughly within Ziggs' hexplosive mind. He would have to try, at the very least.

Teemo scratches his cheek and nods, chuckling a little.
"Well, I can't say I've ever heard it said like that, but it works. So... um... what do ya wanna do, then?"
He starts scratching his ear this time, waiting for a moment before realizing that his hand was still on Ziggs' shoulder. After a short stutter he swiftly removes it and nervously laughs to himself.

"Huh?"
Ziggs looks toward the hand on his shoulder, noticing it quickly retract to its owner; had it been there for that long? Perhaps Ziggs' hyperactive-ness was simply, once again, forcing him to ignore things. Or possibly that he actually enjoyed the feeling quite a lot. These things were impossible to figure out for him.
"O-Oh! I've got JUST the thing!" -a little sugar, a little spiiiice-a little naughty, not niiiice-Bring along a power-bomb, makin' fireworks and-"
Ziggs began sprinting around his research tables in search of plans, hexplosives, anything that would amount to an explosive time; though he stopped in his tracks. Aside from his incessant rhyming in his excited state, the moment had him realize he was still ignoring his guest's desires. The last yordle "guest" he had simply stomped out of his laboratory after having his explosives char the yordle's clothing. And fur. And generally, everything.
This guest was not to be pushed away.
"Well...what did you have in mind?"

"Oh? U-uh..."
Teemo was caught off-guard by the question. It never really occurred to him to think of something to do while visiting Ziggs. At the time it had just sounded like something he'd enjoy doing. There weren't very many times where he'd done anything for fun, especially in Piltover, so he was stumped by the request for a long while. Eventually he shrugs and tries to smile, though it was pretty obvious there was some faint embarrassment in his voice.
"You know, I still haven't done much around Piltover yet, and the only places I can think of to go to would be the rec center or the restaurant we visited before. It would probably be pretty lame to you if we just went back to one of them, though, so I'll... uh... I'll just let you decide what we do. You're a pretty fun guy after all, so I'm sure you've got something in mind."

Another indecisive smile caught the Expert's eye, having focused himself on solely Teemo for more than two minutes; a heavy effort. Ziggs hummed for a moment, pondering what exactly to do in this situation. Let things become more and more awkward? That's helpful.
"...Be impulsive? Let's go with that one."
He jogged his way back to the laboratory's entrance and towards Teemo, reaching over to grasp one of his hands and tugging it along with him. His free hand pushed through the reinforced doors behind the Swift Scout, easily swinging them open, knocking them into the walls they had been attached to.
"Well let's go cook up some fun, then! C'mon, let's go let's go!"

Ten minutes later...
Teemo shifted in his seat a little, popcorn bag in hand as he waited for the introduction advertisements to go by. This was the first time he'd ever gone to see a movie before, but it felt nice being treated to one, so he couldn't refuse. Of course, this portion wasn't terribly interesting and brought out a small yawn in the scout. He covers his mouth with a gloved hand for a moment before turning to Ziggs with a smile.
"Thanks again for bringing me here. Like I said, I haven't exactly come to see a movie before. We don't have a theater like this in Bandle."
Post by hexplosiveexpert on Apr 26, 2013 13:40:43 GMT -5
The Expert's ears swiveled for a bit as multiple sounds both loud and soft pierced his hearing, filling him with new curiosity. Advertisements and such before the movie were so very boring, yet he found merely being at the movies for once an exciting new experience! Keeping himself from being distracted by the multiple shooting and exploding videogames outside of their viewing area was quite the chore. Ziggs nearly vibrated in his seat thinking of what might be to come. He'd completely forgotten what movie they were seeing.
Teemo's words seemed to pin him back down into the seat.
"Huh-Oh! Don't worry about it! I haven't been to the movies either, but I hear it's awesome. Should come back to see more once in a while!"
Ziggs couldn't help but smile widely, his rather well-kept set of teeth shining brightly. One of his hands rubbed through the back of his ear, seemingly nervous; talking one-on-one about something other than work or explosions was quite the task, but it was a fun one indeed.

Teemo's smile grew a little and he even laughed a little at Ziggs' grin.
"Heh, well that's good to know. Nice smile by the way."
It was the smile that distracted him, though his eyes soon followed the contour's of the dean's body up to his ear where he saw the glinting of his earring. He'd been wondering for some time now where or why he'd gotten it.
"You know, I think we've got a while before the show starts. Could fill the time with some talking. Um... excuse me for asking, too, but I was just kinda curious what the ring in your ear was for."
