The Order of Shadow... Zed's temple. Tilly did not much care for the ninja's, whether they be Kinkou, or otherwise... but she did respect them; however, she did not very much like Zed... sneaking through the tall grass, keeping her head low with the two guards, she stopped, peering through the foliage to get a glimpse of the watch towers.
Irelia had ordered her to see what she could find out, without violence... recon wasn't Tilly's specialty, but she had done a lot of it during the Noxian Ionian campaign, and knew enough to get by...
Sneaking just a little closer, Tilly slipped behind a tree and sat for a moment, peaking her head around to see once more... wondering what they were up too.
John Cole breathed in and out slowly through his mask as he sneaked alongside the group. His eyes darting everywhere. It almost came naturally to him for some reason. It didn't really hit him till now of course that he would probably be dealing with ninjas... Well... There were ninjas right? Shadow... Ninjas.. Right. He kept his movements slow and smooth, avoiding any of the tall grass from making any sudden movements.
He continued moving alongside Tilly and went up to his own tree close by. He carefully leaned his head out and peered at the towers, he brought his hand up to his mask and switched to a rangefinder optic. He just had to find something to use as a reference, once that was done it was just some simple math and he would be able to tell exactly just how far off they were.
"See anything...?" Tilly said quietly up to John, still peering around her own tree, the guards that she had brought along were beginning to set their supplies down and silently survey the area.
John nodded as he scanned the area. "Yeah, got a bit of movement around the towers, not much but... Looks like a few Noxian grunts. No one important though, far as I can tell." He continued to slowly scan the perimeter of the towers carefully. He switched to a zoom optic, getting a closer look. "Yeah.. Definitely just some grunts. Ugly bastards." He heartily chuckled at his own joke.

Tilly frowned, "Now is not the time for jokes.." She replied, looking back at the towers. "We need to stay focused, and keep our eyes on the enemy.." Tilly furrowed her brows slightly, letting her sword lean on the tree she was sitting behind, scanning the towers with her eyes.
John nodded as he continued to search the area. "Yes, ma'am." He then glanced over at Tilly and asked. "Hey, could you pass me one of your maps? I'm goin' to mark these down. Maybe they're symmetrical. If so it should make finding the others easy." It made sense to him anyway, evenly space the towers out in a circle around the temple. It's what he would do in this situation. His eyes shifted over back to the area in-front of him, looking for any movement that might be a problem.

They were watching the Order of Shadows and their new allies, but they did not know they too were being watched.
High up in the trees sat Minoryu and, while he wore his white robes, he blended into the shadows of the foliage. He carried his rope dagger, but not his chain. He didn't expect too much trouble, and the chain was not the stealthiest of weapons.
'And who are we?' thought Minoryu as he watched the group try to sneak up through the forest.
Most of them were Ionian, but one of them was not. He was the the only one out of the group who appeared to know how to hide, and even then...he was no ninja.
He was tempted to sound the alarm, but Zed had wanted them to watch and learn before ruining everything. He removed his rope knife, but kept the blade covered.
John kneeled down low and pressed his back up on the tree. He didn't want to expose himself for too long. They definitely have a sizable force it almost seems. The watchtowers were a decent distance from the actual temple, and they need to setup something for the Noxian troops. So they most certainly have camps in the area, once again the easiest thing would be to find a hill with coverage and scout it out. But he wasn't sure what was going to happen, and so for now he waits. His eyes continuously darting around for any movement. He knew full well the moment he let his guard down, is the moment when the enemy finds them. For now though his eyes would scan over any cover or concealment he himself would use. Trees, underbrush, or really anything in this forest. Nothing so far, but who knew. Hell he'd feel better if it was Noxians tailing them, at least they would be easier to spot. It was really the shadow ninja types he was more worried about. For good reason anyway.
Minoryu was watching the one in black talk to the heavily armored woman when he noted one soldier out of place. He had placed himself in a spot that left him isolated. Not a bad spot if you had the element of surprise, but being unaware in this position left him exposed. The lower foliage on the trees were sparse, but these were chestnut trees and they tended to grow in small packs of five or six. This blocked all the lines of sight except for him watching the Noxian camp and high above, which is where Minoryu was sitting now.
He could take one and then sound the alarm. Minoryu had to take someone, as he couldn't hear them from so far away. Minoryu could only hear the grumbling of soldiers. Nothing he could make out was of any use.
Minoryu judged the decent...20 feet down...five feet from the nearest oak of decent height.... He had enough rope on his knife. He threw the blade into a far oak and swung over to an oak over the lone soldier. He planted his knife into this tree and prepared to rappel down.
Tilly simply continued to peer at the temple before she too returned to cover, frowning slightly. She noticed that one of the guards had wondered too far. "Stay here." She said softly to John as she began to slink after the other soldier.
John quickly nodded in response. He turned back around and resumed keeping an eye on their 12 o clock. Still no movement to really make note of, from what he could still see they all seemed to be moving about normally. His gaze continued to shift between different area. This was creepy, he thought to himself. Nothing but them and a lot of Noxians and ninjas. So if things went to hell, he just had to hope that didn't occur of course. But he did have plans, namely run like hell. Not like it isn't something he's done before.
Minoryu was about halfway down the tree when he turned his head about to scan the area and saw the heavily armored woman. She was coming to check on the idiot who got out of place. He was too close to just vanish into the shadows and sound the alarm. He was not leaving empty handed.
He pulled on the rope to dislodge it from the tree and leaped behind the unaware guardsmen. In an instant, the guard was relieved of his weapon and had a rope tightly around his neck. This is not a silent process, as Minoryu took no measures to silence his prize. He knew he would be seen. He wanted to be seen.
Minoryu forcibly would turn his prey towards where Tilly would emerge. Minoryu held his knife in hand and was mentally measuring out the length needed to sound the alarm.
John continued his vigilante sweep of the area with his eyes. His gut instincts were telling him something was off, or it was just the noises coming from where Tilly was going. Part of him wanted to investigate, but he was given an order to hold his ground. Still though, his knees lowered and his back arched forward, putting him as low to the ground as he could get. Still no movement from the Noxian side of things, so the haven't been alerted or anything. Whatever was going on behind him, hopefully it was something good. The last thing he needed was a confrontation right in-front of enemy territory.
For now though he focused on what was in-front of him, if anything happened he'd probably learn about it soon. Just have to remember the rules of engagement for this little endeavor. Or well... What rules? It was basically don't do anything. So he continued to keep still, no sudden movements, his head low enough to be within the underbrush itself.
Tilly heard the guard cry out, and that was all she needed to hear. Instead of going forward, she turned on her heel and slipped back through the foilage and quickly located John and the other guard... cursing the one who had jeopardized the mission. "We need to leave, now." She said in a hushed tone. "We were ordered not to engage... I intend on keeping it that way."
John turned as he heard the rustling from behind him, luckily it was just Tilly. But one guard was still missing. As she spoke he peered behind her, watching for any movement. It was obvious from what she said he must've been killed. A sigh and he replied back in a hushed tone.
"Roger that. I'm on you."
He had a feeling it wouldn't be long if they had been spotted before things get difficult, so hopefully they can get out of the area and fast. The least they needed was to have an army trailing them. He was already working on different plans in his head in-case things did go to hell of course.
