Ok, so I have been kinda busy lately, and that is why Gillam or Gem's character sheets have not been made yet. However, when trying to write Gillam's abilities today, I hit a bit of a roadblock in trying to decide what Gillam's pendant actually functions as. If any of you have RP'ed with me before, you may have seen some foreshadowing about the pendant going on, but nothing explaining simply what powers it has.
Now! I had one idea in mind that I stuck with for a bit, but after rethinking it, and also considering it (possibly) OP, I decided to open up the discussion to all of you to weigh in on this topic.
So this is what I had in mind. Gillam's pendant, given to him by his mother, was said to be a good luck charm. However, when near a large vicinity of magic, its untapped power is awakened. This is what caused Gillam to survive frozen in Freljord for so long. The raw magical power that was exposed to Gillam during the battle where he was frozen seeped into the pendant, causing it to put himself into a stasis that lasted as long as the frozen magic that seeped into the pendant did. After Gillam was thawed out, the magic was released, and the stasis ended.
This is only one idea that I am sure is flawed in many ways. I understand this completely, which is why I am opening this discussion up for you guys. Give me your opinions, and I will gladly hear them!
