But classical and epic music is not just his main profession. Sometimes when he wants a smaller audience, he and his selected group of friends join together to make a small swing band.
Not only he is skilled in conducting, Yoshi can play the cello and piano as well.
His baton is one of a kind and Yoshi wouldn't know what to do if he were to lose it. In fact, his baton serves more purpose than just his magic wand and his tool of his musical conduction. He uses it to amplify his voice for the purpose to speak to large audiences during the show. As large audiences can be difficult to shush, he amplifies his voice as if it were a microphone.
Relationships
Yoshi leads the Bandle City Band and the relationship between him and the band is equal to a close family. His father and mother frequently give full support to his son at every performance.

Yoshi leads a musical orchestra called the Yordle Orchestra. A talented singer and musician, Yoshi and his musical group travel all around Valoran performing in concerts and large audiences. With a witty and cute personality, Yoshi brings out the happiness not only to himself, but also to the orchestra and to the crowd that love to listen to a group of yordles singing and playing music either relax under the serenade sounds of peace or feel powerful from his thunderous epic symphonies.
Yoshi was born in Bandle City just like any other average yordle. His father traveled as a businessman and his mother took the role as a housewife. While his father traveled, his mother took care of Yoshi.
The school became the foundations of his rise to musical talent but in more unusual ways than one. During his elementary years, Yoshi became the school bully. His bully time were sometimes exaggerated by the bullied (to the point where they call the school 'little Noxus'). Yoshi maintained his iron grip until a newcomer named Horatio Amadeus came. The shy Horatio initially succumb to Yoshi's dictatorship until a massive fight between the two sentenced Horatio and Yoshi to detention.
While in forced peace, Yoshi stared at the other, non verbally threatening to kill Horatio. Soon to keep himself calm, Horatio sings himself a beautiful lullaby and Yoshi froze in amazement while he listened. When Yoshi approached, Horatio readied to punch him. But the bully told Horatio of his great musical talent. Yoshi too wants to learn music since he finds it beautiful. Horatio agrees but on the condition that Yoshi stops bullying. As the two continue to exercise together with music, the bond between them grew and Yoshi's iron will relaxed. Soon, the students that feared Yoshi now willingly love and respect him.
