Zed's gazed remained fixated upon Kahn, the unblinking burning crimson orbs seemed to intensify as Zed slowly stood. He looked down upon Kahn, "You say were trained as a Ninja... We do not let just allow people to walk in and request to join." The Master of Shadows walked toward the door, opening it and looking over his shoulder, "You will prove yourself to me. Through combat. I will gauge your ability and decide if you are worth the effort."
Shadow people follow him everywhere he goes. Looking over his shoulder, the paranoia flows.
Now Kahn had to admit that Zed's glare gave even the reaper's a good run for its money. However, at the mention of combat to guage his abilities, Kahn cracked a slight smile. This would be quite interesting indeed, though he would have to be careful enough that he didn't actually kill Zed. After all the Master of Shadow still had things that Kahn wanted.
"If that is the next step, then I hope that I will not disappoint you, Master Zed." The Ex-Kinkou ninja replied, "Just allow me to reclaim my weapons and tools then I shall be ready whenever you request."
Only under Zed's orders would Kahn receive his gear back. After receiving his tools and weapons, Kahn would perform a quick double check to ensure he had everything. Then he would turn and bow to Zed before saying, "I'm ready to depart or fight, whatever you wish to do, Master."

Zed moved silently out the door, gesturing for Kahn to follow in silence. He walked up the seemingly endless steps toward the Temple of Shadows. The sound of disciples training their techniques could be heard, clashing of steel, fists upon training dummies and other various grunts as they fought among one another in an attempt to best and better their abilities.
The Master of Shadows neared the two massive heavy metal ornate doors that lead to the courtyard, two large black serpent like dragons adorned the doors, their claws locking together as though they were in the middle of combat looked to act like a lock to barricade the doors closed. Yet as Zed moved silently toward them, the claws looked to retracts, the massive doors slowly swinging open revealing a large stone paved courtyard that stretched before the Temple of Shadows.
All sounds of training stopped, the many disciples all stopping in an instant to kneel before the Master of Shadows. Zed barely acknowledged them as he continued to silently walk, his footsteps precise and barely seeming to touch the ground as he moved. He stopped dead in the center of the court, the shadow ninjas all watching to see what would happen. Zed would simply wait until Kahn stood across from him. He would bow and then take a fighting stance, inviting Kahn to take the first move.
Shadow people follow him everywhere he goes. Looking over his shoulder, the paranoia flows.
Kahn silently followed Zed, watching the Temple of Shadows grow larger and larger as he approached. Soon he would be inside, the belly of the beast one might say, but there was no turning back now. After all he had come so far, and now was the time to prove his worth. His ears picked up the sound of the disciples training themselves, tirelessly, and relentlessly. Zed worked his disciples harder, perhaps harder than the Noxian army did.
However, it was hard not to notice the changes Zed made to the temple, the ornate door was a clear example of that. Perhaps the serpents in combat were a symbol of the shadows? Who knows, but the doors opened as Zed's silent feet approached them. As they entered all the disciples kneeled, a clear sign of subordination to Zed, one Kahn will remember for the future. He wanted to search for his sister, but he remembered Zed's threat. Thus, his eyes remained fixed on Zed, who bowed and waited for Kahn to make the first move. A wise decision, but Kahn would not charge mindlessly at the Master of Shadows. The Lotus Hunter bowed to the Master of Shadows before drawing his katana and took a his fighting stance.
However, first he wanted to see how Zed would dodge. Would he primarily use the shadows or did he use his ninja training more often. Kahn knew he would have to treat each and every shadow as a gate that Zed could appear from....even his own. So his back was never safe, quick and precise movement would be critical in this fight.
Kahn's first move was a simple one, he reached into his tool bag before tossing a single kunai knife at Zed's chest. He then began to quickly strafe to Zed's right in an attempt to keep moving to make the expected counter attack even harder to land.

Zed watched Kahn's every movement, his intense gaze from beneath the mask never once leaving the Lotus Hunter. Watching Kahn's arm being drawn back gaze Zed all he needed to know about the oncoming attack, as the kunai was thrown through the air, Zed brought him arm up in a quick fluid motion, his palm striking with a single rapid movement into the kunai sending it clattering uselessly to the pavement just to the left of him. Zed didn't counter attack right away however.
Zed's very shadow looked to move, disappear and reappear all within the blink of an eye. Many who had never seen Zed fight before wouldn't know what had just happened... Zed's body turned, keeping Kahn focused squarely in his sight. A blur off black would be all Kahn saw before he would realize, two shurikin were slicing through the air toward him, Zed following his arm blades poised to strike his shoulders.

Kahn figured that the kunai knife would be blocked with the greatest of ease, but he did not expect it to come from Zed's hand. It seems the armor he wore wasn't just for looks. Kahn kept moving, when suddenly a blur of black bolted away from Zed, the strafing ninja was unsure of what he just witnessed happen, but stopped moving to take in what his enemy was doing.
Suddenly two shurikin were cutting through the air toward him, this got Kahn's attention far more than the blur of black. Kahn noted that Zed wasn't far behind the shurikins, so he would have to dodge both. The ex-kinkou bent his legs and ducked under the two projectiles flying at him, both harmlessly passing over him. Then using the dynamic energy created by his bent legs he bolted back the way he came. This quick movement allowed him to dodge out of Zed's charge, and Kahn planned to counter attack right away.
The ex-kinkou rushed Zed his katana hovering above the ground as he ran. Once in range Kahn would leap upwards swinging his katana at Zed as he did. Once Kahn finished the attack he would disappear, only to appear while performing a falling attack from behind. The dark katana sought out the blood that flowed so freely in Zed's shoulders.

Zed skidded to a halt as Kahn rushed him, using the blades upon his arms he easily deflected the rising strike, as Kahn disappeared. Zed sighed. Kahn would appear behind Zed, only to have a shadowy figure rocket out of the ground behind Zed and beneath Kahn, its blades rising with the figure ready to impale the ex-kinkou's knee as the he dropped from the air.

Kahn smirked from underneath his mask it seems as though he would land the first hit on the so called Master of Shadows. When suddenly a shadowy figure appeared from the ground with a blade aimed at his knee. Kahn silently cursed himself for putting himself in this position, and twisted his body to avoid his knee getting impaled. After all mobility was going to be a key feature in this battle, and losing it against a foe with unknown skills would be a death wish.
However, a stab of pain informed him that he did not escape the blow entirely, but he did not check the injury just yet. Upon landing on the ground he jumped back three times to put some distance between him and Zed. He glanced at the injury there was a rather deep cut and blood flowed from the wound. The Lotus Hunter's stare turned back to The Master of Shadows. The shadows gave Zed an advantage over Kahn as it allowed unexpected maneuvers or attacks. Deprive the Master of his shadows, and that would allow Kahn to fight him on more even ground.
Kahn reached behind him and took out a smoke bomb and tossed it a few feet from Zed. The bomb exploded on impact covering an area of 3 feet in smoke and shielding Kahn from Zed's sight. As soon as the smoke bomb detonated Kahn darted forward, while reaching behind him to bring out another grenade. This one was a flash grenade, Kahn was hoping to use the momentary brightness to destroy the shadows closest to Zed and hopefully blind him as well. As Kahn was about to enter the smoke he threw the flash grenade through the smoke screen. It emerged on the other side allowing only a precious second or two before it detonated eliminating shadows and blinding those who were unable to cover their eyes.
Kahn emerged from the smoke right after the flash grenade went off and swung his katana horizontally at Zed's chest. Hoping to land a blow on the Master of Shadows. If this blow his blocked he will jump back and analyze Zed once more, or attempt to dodge any incoming counter attacks.

Zed's reaction to the smoke bomb was instant, quickly dashing in low his eyes trained on the aura of the ninja before him to, he planned to use the smoke against Kahn. A sound as something was thrown through the smoke overhead, a bright flash flaring brightly behind Zed meant one thing, he had attempted a surprise attack. Keeping his focus on the aura, he moved effortlessly to the side while still in the smoke to avoid coming into contact with the Lotus Hunter as he dashed through, Zed soon spun on his heel and dashed silently after him, his blades ready to strike at the back of Kahn's legs to bring him to his knees.
Upon not seeing Zed anywhere in front of him or to the left or right of him, Kahn had a feeling where Zed was. He continued to dash out putting distance between him and the Master of Shadows who was close behind him. Then suddenly Kahn stopped and turned holding his katana level with his head. His feet were shoulder-length apart The black and unstained katana glistened in the light of the moon, and the Lotus' Hunter's determined eye met Zed's glaring red ones. His legs bent and he lunged forward his katana aimed at Zed's chest. The blade ready to pierce through the armour and strike at the soft and vulnerable flesh underneath.
Kahn was confident that he had more reach than Zed's armblades, and thus would strike first. Now it became a game of chicken between the Master of Shadows and the Lotus Hunter.

Zed was impressed by the man's reactions, somehow managing to put distance between himself and Zed when the Master of Shadows was essentially right behind the man. Zed doesn't dash toward the Lotus Hunter as he lunged toward Zed, "Fool." A shadow clone forms from behind Kahn in an explosion of black wispy smoke. Zed's form distorts and becomes like that of a clone. He had switched places with the clone and now both the clone and Zed hurled shurikin's at the lotus hunter, two from the front, and two from behind. And as Kahn was mid lung it would be near impossible to dodge.

Kahn watched as Zed exploded into a shadowy smoke, in which he was replaced by a shadow clone. It seems catching Zed would be quite difficult, but he doubted it was impossible. Suddenly the shadow threw two shurkins at him, and he heard something cutting through the air behind him. No doubt Zed had done the same, leaving Kahn in quite the pickle.
One that he could get out of, but he would rather save that trick for a more dire time. He used his katana to deflect the two shurkins in front of him, the two behind him landed a clean hit. They embedded into his back causing Kahn to let out a grunt of pain. He jumped away from the situation he was in to prevent being sandwiched again. Kahn would have to be careful committing to an attack, otherwise Zed would just use him as a punching bag. The ex-kinkou reached behind him and removed the one of the shurkins that had found a new home in his back. He did the same for the other, and his eyes glared at Zed.
It was time for Zed to be the lotus and Kahn The Lotus Hunter.
The ninja dashes toward Zed with a speed greater than the glimpse that The Master of Shadows had caught before. Within moments Kahn was at Zed's back and he swung his katana with more ferocity than before. One would be wise not to doubt the power of this blow.
((Active Effects: Lotus Hunt:Kahn may dash behind a target enemy once per post for the next three posts, delivering an empowered attack to that enemy that deals enhanced damage. You are target-able during this time. Once a day))

The attack would hit midair, his weapon harmlessly passing through a black smoke. Zed had disappeared. Which meant one thing. Kahn would feel dark presences seem to appear from nowhere, rushing him from all angles. Four shadowy figure's Blades ready to slice into every inch of the assassin's body. Zed himself however would be impossible to distinguish, four figures dashing at him from all sides.
((R - Death mark: Zed is able to meld into the shadows making him unable to be harmed by physical attacks and some magic abilities. He can then cause various shadow clones to a attack from the shadows in as many directions as one can think of, leaving up to 3 clones behind.
After a few moments, Zed can channel the shadows within the target to shred them from the inside out. This ability can be outright fatal if Zed chooses.))

Once again Kahn's blade cut through the black cloud of shadows, that was once Zed. He soon felt a sinister power approaching him from all sides and noticed four shadows rushing him blades at the ready. Whether or not Zed was among these clones was hard to determine, and though his hunt had just begun he dare not rush into another situation blindly. Thus far it has gotten him into trouble, and now he must escape this situation.
The agile lotus shall be reborn.
Kahn entered an intense state of focus, and exhaled a breath. The shadows and their blades came at a much slower pace to him, the adrenaline in his body screamed to be put to use. His fight or flight instincts roared in his ears. As the blades came close to him he danced between them, each one missing either by a hair breadth or an inch. Needless to say they were close calls for ex-kinkou ninja. He took the first opening he could use he took and managed to worm his way out being surrounded yet again.
After separating himself from the mess he was in, he looked around for Zed to reveal himself. However, he was panting, that state of focus took a lot out of him. For Zed to force him to such a point without the Lotus Hunter landing a single blow...such a thing was unheard of. He scolded himself for his weakness, he had no doubt that Zed required his students to land at least one blow on The Master himself. Thus, far Kahn had failed that test.
((Ability used- Agile Lotus: Due to his intense training, Kahn can enter a state of incredible focus for four seconds to evade all non-magical attacks. This state is draining and may only be entered once per combat. During this state he can not commit to particularly lethal attacks, but he is able to strike back. For example if an attacker swings at Kahn while he is in this focused state, he will dodge, and if he is not distracted by another blow may retaliate with a punch or smack the attacker with the hilt of his katana.
Abilities in effect- Lotus Hunter: 2 posts left))

The three clones that remained after Death Mark remained totally still, ten feet apart in a triangle with what looked to be the original Zed simply standing calmly in the middle of them, his crimson eyes watching Kahn, he noticed how the lotus hunter was panting, "Do you wish to continue? I have all I wish to know. Continuing may mean your death." His voice conveyed the seriousness, even a few younger students that were watching murmured quietly, wondering if the new comer would really test how far Zed would go.
