The heat resonated off the grand sands of Icathia, as the sun shined down upon the ruined towers of what was once a grand place. The whispers of the Void lingered about the area to those who were present in the area.
And those who would be present, would be the Prophet, and Reiora.
A small hum of energy began to form in the shade of a tall tower as purple tint began to shove itself into reality. From their an alien-like cry was heard as reality tore itself apart to create a portal. A cry began to crescendo, and out from it came Malzahar as he pushed Reiora out of the portal. Now, the muttering of Icathia began to intensify for both of him, trying to connect into their minds. However, this was no problem for Malzahar, as he was already connected with Void. Now, no summoners could interrupt him, no rune magic to stop the Void from spreading through the hearts of others. He is king of this battleground. He floated up from Reiora as he looked down at the girl. "Please Reiora! You must understand!" He said as he still played the role of father, a role that Kassadin had never gotten the chance to do for many years. "You need to connect to the Void, you'll understand it all once you have! He could have killed you back there, you must connect with me and the Void before he gets a chance to!"
Reiora flew out of the portal, flew a good distance, and rolled across the ground gracelessly. She had been caught off guard by Malzahar's attack, sent through this portal to... where was she?
She recovered as fast as he could, as Malzahar spoke to her. Was she back in the void? No... this was in the same place, just teeming with familiar energy. What was he talking about? Reiora seemed to understand his language... but he was making no sense anyway. She was already a part of the Void. And once she was done with it, the Void would be a part of her instead.
And speaking of which, this place was filled with it, that energy she craved. It interested her again; it was something too abundant in the Void, and yet here it's strength was so much greater.
Barely acknowledging Malzahar and Kog'maw's presence, she leapt towards the heart of the once great city's ruins. In another moment, a black whirl surrounded her, and helped her make short teleporting jumps towards her destination.

Malzahar turned to Kog'Maw. Seems like he had been here during the entire invasion. He would've like to see his artillery there, would've been helpful. Though he was young, perhaps he wasn't ready JUST yet. At his question as to if he could eat her, he shook his head in slight annoyance. "No no no Kog'Maw, she isn't food she's-" He turned his head to see the girl teleporting away from the two. His eyes instantly widened in panic. "Escaping! She's escaping! Kog'Maw, we must get her, QUICKLY!" He looked at her, watching her travel. Though she may be escaping rather quickly. This was HIS domain. She has not fully connected to the Void. She still resisted, just like her father. He began to crack open a portal, easier to do here than others as the presence of the Void and its overlords had a stronger presence here. Malzahar stepped through the portal open. He still had PLENTY energy leftover from that blast of Void energy, and it could probably give him the energy he needed. As he stepped out and looked at her, his eyes began to glow intensely. With a roar, a beam of Nether energy shot out of him as it would hold her in place.
As she would be held in place, Malzahar would try to implant those memories from before, trying to get her brainwashed as she was held in place. Though, just in case it didn't work, he called to Kog'Maw as that portal was still open, though slowly closing. "Kog'Maw, assistance please!" He said as he kept her in his Nether Grasp.

Kog'Maw leapt through the portal, jumping out on the other side, at the command of Malzahar. He spit up a sticky Void Ooze at Reiora that would help hold her in place, and bit onto her leg to try and hold her to the ground, doing his best to help keep her from running without hurting her....much.... "Lady not allowed to leave!" He said, now viewing her as a task to help Malzahar with, instead of food.

Out of nowhere burst forth a purple streak of light that seemed to cut reality open like a hot knive cuts through butter. The very air seemed to weave for a second, before a pitch black hole violently expulsed Kassadin into the sands of Icathia, immediately closing afterwards.
An alien sound caught his attention - it seemed as if someone were vomiting pure hate unto someone, but Kassadin knew full well what it was. He quickly scanned his surroundings to locate the source of the sound and, with a flick of his wrist, sent a sphere of void energies towards it before launching himself towards Malzahar, blade at the ready.

Malzahar kept his energy on Reiora, pouring thoughts and images into her head while trying to pick away at her strong resistance with his Nether Grasp. Then he heard the sound of a portal cracking open. He knew it wasn't an ally, none of them knew where he was right now. It only meant that the Voidwalker managed to follow a trail of his back to here. No matter, he was fighting in HIS domain. He may be of the Void, but he isn't truly one with the Void like Malzahar is.
Malzahar flew off to the side as the sphere hit him, hazing his mind as he looked at Kassadin advancing. "Kog..." He muttered, the silence wearing off slightly after the 2 seconds of initial impact. He was getting close, but he didn't let this stop him. He summoned two portals in front of him as they shot out blasts of energy. If Kassadin kept running, he'd most likely be hit by the heavy blast and be cut out of his magics too. Malzahar kept floating back, trying to play keep away from Kassadin knowing it could mean death if he got any closer. He pulled out his dagger, the blade humming and glowing with its own energy of the Void. He readied the blade while he kept his glare on him, ready to cast any more spells in case he decided to Riftwalk again.

Kog'Maw watched as Malazhar was hit by the sphere. He growled loudly, and turned to face the advancing Kassadin. On Malzahar's command, Kog'Maw became a Living Artillery, spitting his acid into the air around Kassadin and directly at him, focusing the majority of it in front of Kassadin to try to keep him from advancing towards Malzahar.
(Dropping all the font facade cause it's silly. I am no longer homeless, after like 6 months of being a hobo! That was fun)
Malzahar's empowered void energy, Kog'maw's ooze, Kog'maw's... teeth? Kog'maw's teeth.... Reiora was caught off guard by the aspect of Void energy around her, something made this place different from the Void energy she had lived in for years. She was unsure what.
Regardless, she was immobile. But just as soon as Malz had begun his attack on her mind, did the Octopus-man-void creature appear and save her again. Of all the void she had dealt with, this was the first one repeatedly helping her. Weird. In the meantime, however, she focused on ridding herself of Kog'maw's trap. With Malzahar and Kog distracted, a skin-tight energy began to surround her body, and with a bit of time and focus, the ooze was repelled from her.

They expected him to blindly walk into that? Fools. In the blink of an eye, Kassadin disappeared from his position with a burst of void energy, only to reappear behind Kog'Maw accompanied by a another nether explosion. These two were bigger, more powerful than the last ones, and would surely be noticed by both of his foes. After materializing, Kassadin pulled his arm back, readying his nether blade for an assault on the void beast.

Kog'Maw watched Kassadin disappear, and quickly turned around at the sound of him reappearing. We watched Kassadin ready his arm, and leaped up to bite it.
Reiora was free of Kogmaw's slime. The situation: a talkative Void Creature who controlled his powers with a surprising amount of strength, and another typical Voidling but much much stronger than usual... and one more, the squidman. A proper string of action would be to deal with the two creatures working together, and deal with the octopus later, at a safer time. A two versus two.
But Reiora was without the powerful boost that she was given in the mountains... instead, she resided in this place, with Void energy made almost specifically to be enticing and powerful. The energy empowered her slowly, she could feel it, but only after some time would it matter. For now, she was no stronger than the typical void bug.
But the other void bug was fighting Kassadin. Reiora, with their attention away from her now, readied a smaller Void Orb, to fire at the two.

Malzahar watched as their attempts to hold back Kassadin were futile. He then saw how Reiora was attacking the other two, and although she was attacking Kassadin, he had to find a way to stop her from attack him and Kog'Maw as well. He summoned a Null Zone under Kassadin, in hopes of Kog'Maw keeping him in place with that mouth of his.
He then cast out another spell at Kassadin, his Malefic Visions. Screams and words of Icathia would pour into his mine, tearing away at the sanity and mind of the Voidwalker. Sure, Kassadin had a resistance to it, but that wasn't the point. A voidling had leaped out of the Null Zone. It looked around for a moment before seeing his target, Kassadin. With a screech, he leaped out at Kassadin, aiming for his back so that he could tear at the flesh.

Kog'Maw's grip slipped until he could not hold on any longer and fell to the ground on the null zone. He scurried off of the null zone quickly, taking minimal damage.

The sound of an unearthly screech ringed in Kassadin's ears - one he knew too well. With a quick spin on his heels, Kassadin delievered a powerful slash at the leaping Voidling, cleanly splitting him it in two.
Both the null zone and Malzahar's visions were not being keen on him, however, so he quickly gathered his strength to riftwalk once more, this time behind one of the many stone pillars that adorn Icathia to catch his breath.
