I've decided to archive my days in the barren land known as Freljord. Perhaps it will keep me from violently ripping my apprentice apart. Anyways, today I made my first contact with an inhabitant of this land, other than the bandits of course.
A lonely troll wandered in to my territory, oh how I thought he would sate my thirst just a little... Sadly, he died just easily as the bandits had. Maybe I'll run into a challenge on my way to the capital...

Its been a grueling two weeks. Everyday is the same. My apprentice awakes and continues her training, though it seems she has made little progress since we arrived. She continuously tries to convince me that it is time for the final ritual, that she has achieved the end point.
Perhaps I will perform it, if she is truly ready, then my boredom will come to an end. And if not...then I suppose i'll be alone in this fortress of mine.

Two weeks...two weeks...two long weeks alone. This land is more barren then i ever could have imagined. If it wasn't for my ability to sense wild life, i'd have surely starved by now... I've lost a few pounds here. I've been sleeping a lot recently. It seems however, that i have a bad case of sleep walking. I never awake where i originally sleep... Strange... While i speak of paranormal, I've noticed nearby trees have claw marks on them even though i haven't sensed a bear in the area since my arrival. I've had to keep delaying my trip to Rakkelstake. Despite it being a warmer season, the snow has kept me locked in this fortress.
I tire of waiting. I originally was going to go for furniture, but it seems I may go for...other...reasons now. I wonder if Ashe's blood tastes the same off the fields as it does on...
