Such a hive of scum and villainy certainly has many orphans on the streets. As such, a new orphanage was opened near the northern docks, refurnishing and renovating the interior of an old warehouse.
The headmistress is an old Ionian woman named Fumiko. She was around 60 years old and moved about the orphanage with a walker. She wore a baggy kimono and straw sandals, no matter the weather. Better for her old joints.
While looking like ones grandmother, her green eyes revealed a bright light of intelligence that pierced all the lies any orphan would seek to sneak by her. However, she was not as strict with the children as Heung, treating the orphans as her own. They greatly respected the old lady and some of them sought to find ways to make what was left of her life easier. One child attached wheels to her walker. Another knit with her in the sun and talked gossip on the front awning just after lunch. Another cleaned the grandfather clock in the main entry way until it gleamed.
Fumiko had about twenty orphans in her care after three weeks of running the orphanage. The source of her funding is the Piltover branch's charity movement, which is assumed to be very successful given the existence of this one.
When one enters this orphanage, they either pass Fumiko on the front awning, or she hears the chimes on the doors and shouts "Oh dearie, don't get to going to far 'til I laid eyes on ye." as she limps over to the door from wherever she was resting.
