May 7 ((aka after Diachi was here, keep going you two. I am willing to go to a different thread if need be. Emi or Swain can contact me if I need to do this differently.))
Sensei has already been here, to ask what I am about to. Why am I here? Without orders? Minoryu, this is a risk. She doesn't have reason to like YOU at all.
Or reason to strike me.
Besides corrupting the holy ground by stepping on it? You know these zealots. You worked for one once.
And now I am one.
Minoryu sat high up in a tree examining the area around the temple. Humble was a good word for it. Given he was dealing with a zealot, it was unexpected.
How do I approach? Silent or loud? Surprise her or approach her openly? I am just here to talk. Minoryu thought to himself.
After a minute or two Minoryu decided to see how far Diana was willing to trust those who came to her out of the blue. He leapt from the tree, landing on one knee and all ten fingers. Minoryu slowly rose and walked towards the temple, expecting to be stopped before he entered.

Minoryu would find that the temple is empty, save for only one or two recently converted Lunari who are actually napping outside. Diana herself was inside near a window, spotting him she'll raise a brow and walk outside to greet him.
"You there, what is your purpose here?"
She was very suspicious and would require an almost immediate answer or else he would step no further without her blade being drawn.
Minoryu calmly kept walking forward, removing his own weapons and dropping them on the path leading up to the temple. Of course, he could easily fall back to get them, but a show of peace was in order. He was not completely aware of how Zed's conversation with Diana had gone. Better to err on the side of diplomacy. The first was the Tanto, his shuriken pouch, the rope dagger, and then the Chained Sickle. His weapons made his origin clear if his attire did not.
"I am but a seeker of knowledge. Knowledge to topple your foes. Knowledge to make it so no secret is locked away for fear that it challenges their ideals. Knowledge to smash the lies that are built to hide the corpses of the 'heretics'. My name is unimportant. I am the son of the shadows and servant of Zed."
Minoryu bowed to Diana gracefully from about a meter away, acknowledging her position as higher than his own.
"This shadow bears the name, Minoryu, and seeks permission to enter and break a midnight fast with you to discuss your home and your relation to Zed." Minoryu did not raise his head or move from where he stopped. He was a statue.

Diana would eye the man as he stripped weapon after weapon and tossing them aside without a care... to show that he mean't no harm. He looked like one of those within the Ninja order(s), and she would furrow a brow the moment he mentioned Zed's name.
"Another from his order? What exactly did he want?" Diana wondered until he bowed and stated his reasons.
"Deciding to come here of your own will hm? Why do you wish to learn of what transpired here over a month or so ago? I know your loyalties are to Zed, but I'm curious."
His next reply would determine whether or not Diana would allow him inside. She only know's that either he's incredibly curious, or simply does not know the full details of the simple transgression that happened here.
Minoryu kept his head bowed, humble before the paragon of the moon.
"I have heard one thing and wish to hear it again from another. To learn something's true nature, one must view all of the angles, least something be obstructed by bias and tradition, and thus go unlearned. This mountain for example.
This mountain seeks to purge itself of shadows. The Sun warrior and her light see us as corruption and impure intent. The Rakkor see my brothers and sisters as cowards in the night, unworthy of life. I need to understand this mountain should their wishes become action. The path to understanding the mountain is lit only by the moon, for she is the only one who does not seek to smite us and grants the world shadows for us to walk in. All other paths mean walking into the spiteful light of the Solari or the flames of the Rakkor bigotry. I will not do so needlessly.

Diana would eye Minoryu as he explained his goal, shaking her head after he finished. She recalled her conversation with Zed, and would give him the same answer.
"I've already told Zed that there's nothing else to learn about the mountain, nor are there anyways back to the top secretly. Even if the Moon is unmoving in shining its light, even to those who lurk beneath... There is nothing more to be said or done."
Diana would then sigh, deciding the waive Minoryu inside just so he can explain his meaning.
"Make this quick, I've got plenty of things I need to accomplish today."
Minoryu did not gather his weapons as he walked into the temple. He also paid only enough mind to the decor to note the escape routes and entry routes should he need to use them later. All paths must be considered and this path could end as badly as the others. At least this path had a chance of alliance.
"I have never come to the mountain when I served under the Kinkou, and when I left I was more focused on Ionia than the mainland, much less Targon. It is a wonder of the world. You are very fortunate to have this as a home, although it would likely be much better if it was not so full of narrow-minded people.
Sensei..." Minoryu caught himself. Calling Zed 'Sensei' was second nature, but was not be how he wanted to address his master to someone not within the fold, least he indicate his master was hers. "Zed has likely told you that our stories are not dissimilar, which is true from what I have heard, but yours does have one difference. Zed had allies. He found me and many others and brought us into his fold rather quickly. You, however appear to have few, as of yet, likely due to the sparse population of Targon and its bigoted people refusing to allow other views to exist. That brings a question to my mind. How is it you have not had the full fury of the Solari rain down upon you? Are they so arrogant as to leave you be and allow you to grow in strength?"

"Leona." Diana said flatly to answer his question immediately.
"That woman has chosen to keep the Solari at bay, as she now commands them. If you do remember, I killed all of the old corrupt leaders that attempted to silence me on the day of my ascension, and Leona herself seems to have vowed to not have a conflict like that happen... at least for now."
Diana would lean against the wall nearby, folding her arms as she prepared her next statement.
"I've already told Zed that I was to remain neutral in your conflict with the Solari, as I myself have nothing to contribute. Perhaps later down the line an alliance can be made, but for now... it shall not be done."
"That is your decision to make, and one day I hope we will be allies and smite all falsehood from our world. Until then, I still seek wisdom and truth. May I ask for your views on the Targonians? I know very little besides rumors and jests, and what I need is the truth of their nature. Who better to ask than you as the Solari and the Rakkor will likely refuse to grant me audience?"
Minoryu had made a point to avoid eye contact. Mission of peace and he would not be so defiant as to gaze into her eyes.

Diana would shrug, as Minoryu's statement was made. She would continue watching the man curiously as his next inquiry arrived... although her answer would be generic, it's the truth.
"If you have heard Pantheon boast on about the life of those on Targon, that is mostly true."
She began.
"The only difference is that the Solari are a higher sect within Targon, and what they say goes."
Diana made the emphasis spitefully, knowing full well how Targon was in the past thanks to her research.
"That is all. Thank you for your time, Moon Child. May her light guide you."
Minoryu backed away from Diana wiht his eyes downward until he was outside the temple, at which point he turned and stood tall as he walked down the steps, one last comment drifted up into the temple...almost like a whisper in Diana's ear.
"Do remember the Shadows, should you need us."
And with that Minoryu faded into the night, with his weapons back in their respected places. Minoryu really did sympathize with the Lunari cause and hoped his order could aid them, especially given Diana's strength and knowledge of the mountain.
