The (not so) Secret Base of Veigar.

"No problem at all."

Core took another bite of his meat and vegetables. He never feared the dark, or the paranormal. He shrugged it off as he chewed.

"So..what made you interested in magic anyways?"

Core's ears flicked whenever the evil master would shout. He's gotten used to it. He continued to eat his vegetables, thinking. He felt like he could sympathize with Veigar. He drank some more tea, and sighed, satisfied with his meal.

The student got up from the table, grabbing his dishes. He looked down at Veigar's plate. "Are you finished?"

Without a moments hesitation, Core quickly grabbed the flying dish from the air with his free hand. He then gave a look to Veigar that could be summarized with the words 'nice try.' The remaining vegetables, however, some slipped from the plate and onto the floor. With a small, quiet sigh, Core walked to the counter and slipped the dishes into the sink. On his way back, he grabbed a rag to clean up the spilled veggies.

"So, will I be able to leave this facility during my training? I try to visit my parent's graves whenever I can." He asked as he began to wipe up the mess.

"Will do." He said, turning to get the rest of the dishes/food from the table.

The yordle began to hum as he started to wash the last bit of dishes. He wondered what exactly Veigar was going to teach him. The more he thought about it, the more anxious he got about those pirates. He figured he wouldn't need the magic, but it never hurt to learn. As he thought more about those pirates, he noticed he quit humming, and that his jaw was clenched. Shaking the feelings of anger out, he returned to the dishes.

Upon finishing cleaning the kitchen/dining room, Core went into the Dark Room of Darkness. When he opened the door, the title given was quite fitting. "Well, it's certainly dark," the yordle thought, digging a light out of his satchel, "good thing I have this."

Even with his light, the dark was still thick. He trudged through the dark to a wall, and placed his satchel down on the ground. He looked around in the black, the light that illuminated from the reception room seemed far away. He wondered if the room itself was part of his training, to understand exactly what drove Veigar to except the darkness.

He took off his bowglove and vest, and placed them beside his satchel. He looked around again, and gave a half smile. "It's no inn, but it's better than nothing."

Core's ears flicked. He looked up and around the room, but saw nothing but black. Then it hit him. The bathroom. "Oh crap..." he thought, making his way to the general direction to the door. Despite being able to see a faint glow, it felt like it took forever to reach the other end. When he did reach the exit, he was greeted by a very mad looking Veigar. Or at least how mad he could look under his hat.

As Core crossed the doorway from the Dark Room of Darkness, he looked at Veigar, choosing his words wisely. His ears flicked continuously as he could hear everything around him. What kind of sorcery did that room hold?

"I'm sorry, I was going to clean the bathroom. It's just...the lost track of time in that room. I was setting up my bed for when I go to sleep."
