"Of course there's nothing to see, the whole room his shadow." Core says under his breath. The yordle approached the bathroom door, not really excited to see what mess awaited him. As he opened the door, he was a tad bit surprised.
The bathroom wasn't all that messy. Sure, everything looked like it needed a good scrub, and the floor needed to be swept, but aside from that, it was okay. Core reached under the sink to grab some cleaning solution and a couple rags to wipe with. "I really hope this is all worth it." He thought as he began to scrub away.
"I always liked to find trouble, but I never asked for this."

Veigar goes to the Observatory. In the room a big Magical Telescope was in the middle. The Magical Telescope has special characteristics that the normal telescopes don't have. First, can be used even in rainy days full of clouds and second, can be used to see far away places like Frejord, Veigar uses it usually to spy Bandle City... Oh yes, the Magical Telescope can be used as EVIL kaleidoscope... (do not ask why)
The master of evil start looking for stars, comets or anything that can be interesting.
Time went by rather quickly as the magician in training cleans the bathroom. It didn't matter though, as he finished what needed to be done. The bathroom was clean, swept, mopped, and looked pretty damn good. Core wiped his brow and walked out into the reception room.
"VEIGAR! I'VE FINISHED!" He yelled out loudly. As he waited, he walked over to the desk and leaned on it, yawning. He once again pondered if this was worth it.

Veigar was watching the sky when the yordle called him. He goes to the first floor without hurry and ignoring the yordle at the desk he goes to the bathroom... Everything clean. He yells.
"WELL, tomorrow we BEGIN your training, HOWEVER, you MUST memorize at least ONE SPELL from that book that you have before the training"
The wizard walks towards the hallway door before adding.
"and is PROHIBITED for YOU, the use any type of light inside the DARK ROOM OF DARKNESS"
Core didn't say anything, as he remembered the tome he had from earlier. He only memorized that levitation spell, and when he talked with Delphine, he gave the tome back. He had to go out to the Scouts and recover that book. Maybe Del could help him with it.
"Veigar, wait. There's something I need to go to Bandle for. Something to help me with my training."
"I always liked to find trouble, but I never asked for this."
Core returned to the Dark Room of Darkness and carefully made his way over to the general location of his gear. He grabbed his satchel and bowglove before returning to the reception room to leave. As he opened the door, the storm had passed, and all that was left was some light rain.
Without waiting any longer, he left the base and started to jog down the trail. It was a decent hike from this place to Bandle City, so the faster he got there, the sooner he could be back. As the yordle jogged, he thought about how he should go about this. It was late, and he did have some obligation to help Delphine and the Scouts by providing info. And she was the last one to have that tome. Unless she returned it to the Mothership, or to some other facility, this would be a little more difficult.
Core entered the forest region of the trail and slowed a little to catch his breath. The cloudy night sky blocked any beam of light the moon gave, making the forest relatively dark. Normally, he'd use his flashlight to help navigate these woods, but to help his training, he kept it off. "Not much farther to Bandle, he thought.

When the rain stops, the master of evil awakes thirsty. He goes to the Dark Room Of Darkness to tell Core that he must prepare a Tea for Veigar... When he enters to the Dark Room Of Darkness, Veigar notices that Core was not there, after searching around all the base he realizes that Core left the lair, and yells.
"COOOOOOOOOREEEEEEEEE!!!!"
After that he whistles to give some orders to the eagles and then he goes to the kitchen and takes a soda. "Stupid yordle, I TOLD him to REST!! Tomorrow i will make him SUFFER with the TRAINING" Even if Veigar was really mad, he didn't wanted to kill the yordle, mainly because Core was better than him at cooking and he was too lazy to clean the evil lair by himself.
"I SAID that i was going to be WATCHING him!!"
Veigar goes to the observatory while drinking his soda, Inside the observatory, he starts looking for the yordle using the magical telescope.
Core's ears flicked, getting a feeling that he should turn back. He was only at the halfway point from the base to Bandle, and he was only getting more tired. The yordle looked back in the direction of the base and decided it would be best if he went back. If he wasn't exhausted now, he would be when he got back.
He started to jog back up the trail, thinking of an excuse to give Veigar if he gets caught. He could be flat out honest and tell him that the tome belonged to those Scouts he sent the eagles after, or that the tome was only more for parlor tricks than full on spells. Or he could tell him that he was just expending the remaining energy he had left. He continued to think on it as he reached the clearing of the trail.

When the master of evil finally finds the yordle using his telescope, Core was walking towards the city, but apparently the yordle changes his mind and goes back to the Lair... Veigar was somewhat surprised with the attitude of his "student", and will demand an explanation when Core returns from his walk.

Core approached the door and opened it, exhausted more than he thought he'd be. He shut the huge door as quietly as he could. The yordle then turned and began heading to The Dark Room of Darkness

Veigar appears from a black hole in front of Core before the "student" enters to the Dark Room of Darkness and yells angry.
"I TOLD YOU TO ASK ME FIRST BEFORE LEAVE THE SECRET LAIR!!!"
((I will NOT FORGIVE YOU!! i am EVIL and evil people like ME never forgives.... joke))
"I did, right before you went to your chamber." The yordle wasn't phased by the yelling mostly due to him being too tired to rightly care. He remembered one of the spells from that tome the Scouts let him use, a simple parlor trick to make something float. He still remembered the warning the older Scout gave him, that there would be side effects. Did this apply to all magic, to was it because the tome was experimental. He did his best to shake it off.
"But your answer was confusing. You said it was okay, and then you told me to go to sleep, which I'll be going to do shortly." Core blinked tiredly. "You want some tea? I have a blend that allows easy sleep."
"I always liked to find trouble, but I never asked for this."

The evil master crosses his arms and says angry
"When i say "NOW go to sleep", is an ORDER, not a question... in fact, i always give ORDERS, and i drank a soda already so i don't want more tea... Tell me WHY you wanted to go to Bandle at night, and WHY you went back?"
Core sighed, not really wanting to reexplain himself.
"I said I needed to get something to assist with my training, and figured the sooner I got it, the better. I went at night, tonight, because I prefer to travel in the dark anyways. My fur is dark, harder to see, you know? Plus, some members of the law don't like me being around, say I bring trouble. The less they see of me, the better."
"I always liked to find trouble, but I never asked for this."
