"Damn song..." she thought to herself as remembered more of her parents, it didn't take long before she caught herself crying on Jay's shoulder, she wiped her tears with one of hands and tried taking deeper breaths, she felt his hands stroking her back, "Oh.. you're awake..." she said and wiped her tears again. The only thing she really hated with Vampirism was the almost perfect memory, sometimes it was good to have it, but things like that she wanted to forget was always there.

Jay nodded. "Yea. Don't worry, you didn't wake me." He patted her lightly on the back. "What's wrong? Or do you not want to talk about it?" He really didn't care; he didn't mind if she kept crying on him. You didn't always have to be talking.
Sometimes, when you've been stuck alone for long enough, you just have to break out into reality, with no regard for what position it may put you in. It is better to try and fail than to never try.
She sat up and put her elbows on her legs and covered her face with her hands, "My goddamn perfect memory is what's wrong!" she cried some more, "You know... sometimes I hate being a vampire... My damn memory is flawless..." she took a deep breath, "I remember it as if it was yesterday... I just want to forget..."

Jay sat up besides her. He was starting to really wake up now. "Well...I can't fix your memory..." He hugged her closely. "But something an old friend once told me could help." He smiled and looked into Marcy's eyes. "He always used to say that you could divide everything in life that's happened to you into two piles; the good things, and, of course, the bad things." He kissed her lightly. "Now, sometimes, a good thing happening doesn't make a bad thing any less bad...but in the same way, a bad thing doesn't make a good thing less good."
He hugged her tightly. "I just wish I could say something more than that. I don't really think of myself as the best person for this stuff. But I can try my damn best."

She smiled a little, "I guess I'd put you in the good pile then." she wiped her tears with the back of her hand and hugged him,. "I wish you didn't have to see me like this, I'm a wreck.." She put her hands on his arms. She took a deep breath and looked him in the eyes and smiled a little bit more.

Jay smiled back down at her. "I don't care if you're a wreck, you're beautiful regardless. I'm lucky to have ever met you." He let her hold him, simply hugging her back in response once again. "You're definitely in my good pile, no mistake."

She smiled, "Enough crying for a while." she said and pulled her fingers through her hair and took a deep breath. She stood up and stretched her back, when she was on her toes she was just as tall as Jay when he stood up, "I need to get some good heels." she said as she stood normally again. She looked out the window and up at the moon, "I'd guess it's around eleven, let's go outside and get some fresh air."

Jay stood up besides her. "You're right. It's a beautiful night out, we should enjoy it while it lasts." He smiled warmly. "And heels? We might find a shoe store while we're out, maybe even one open this late." He laughed again. "Good to see you kipper again."

"Haha, I don't think there are any stores open now, we can always go out during the day tomorrow, I'll just have to get dressed." She laughed and put on her shoes, then she turned around, "Where do you want to go?"

Jay thought. "Well, I'm not really sure. How about we just walk around, see if anything catches our eye?" He shuffled near the door. "It'll be fun to just adventure a bit. Ready to go?" He was already ready himself, having not been awake enough to take off his shoes earlier.

"Sounds good to me." She pulled him in for a quick kiss, "Yeah, let's go." She took his hand and led him through the door into the dark of the night. She looked at the dark sky, "Such a perfect night, don't you think?" She moved closer to him, almost leaning on his arm.

Jay nodded as Marcy leaned on him, matching her gaze into the night. "Yes, it's absolutely beautiful." He held her hand tightly. "I don't get to appreciate the night normally. It was often a time to sleep and not much else. Being awake makes a difference, eh?" He looked at Marcy as he said this.

"It does, I've never thought of it like that. I've always been awake during your nighttime and the opposite for you."She led him out on the streets of Noxus, being aware of everything that moved around them, not that she was afraid to get attacked, just a precaution. Even for a Vampire the streets during the night could be dangerous. They walked in silence for a bit before she spoke again, "It was a normal day you know, the day we lost our parents. Marcus and I was playing hide and seek, he was good at hiding. Then all of a sudden he jumped out from his hiding spot and told me that the game was over and we had to run..." she paused for a while, wanting him to talk before continuing.

Jay glanced at her in surprise. "Marcy, your--" he was about to say her parents were dead, but he didn't want to put her out. He frowned at her pitifully. "I-I'm sorry. Are you sure you want to talk about this?" He got a dank feeling in his stomach; this likely was why she had been crying earlier. "I don't want you to relive anything this painful." His face looked genuinely concerned.

She stopped and sat down on a bench they where about to walk past, from there she looked him in the eyes, "I have to talk to someone about this, I haven't even talked to Morgana about it, and we've been friends for so many years." She took a deep breath and rubbed her eyes with her palms before continuing, "We hid in the forest behind our house when they burned our parents and our home. We where only fifteen when that happened, I remember my brother hunting down the men who where responsible for our parents deaths, I used their blood for practice Jay, FOR PRACTICE!" She took a deep breath trying to relax and at the same time preventing herself from crying.
