Jayce sat down next to Caitlyn, putting his hammer against the back of his chair. "Pleasure seeing you here, Miss Caitlyn. Any ideas on what this commotion is about, detective?"
Caitlyn simply held a finger to her lips and patiently waited for Vera to speak. Once she had spoken and revealed the Void was coming, the sheriff hummed to herself.
She cleared her throat and spoke up, "Is it silly to assume that the breach will come from Icathia? And if so, what suggestions does the League have in regards to the preparation of defense against the Void?"

"The other denizens of the Void are all accounted for, imprisoned within their cells. Security has been increased. But from The Prophet, there is no answer." She lowered her head, her hood casting a shadow over her haunted face. "Icathia is a blank spot in our scrying. And there are whispers, unexplained events throughout Valoran." The summoner folded her arms over her chest. "We are embracing cautionary wartime measures, and suggesting that each of your territories do the same."

Vera turned to Caitlyn. "We cannot yet make assumptions about where to send reinforcements... The location of the breach has yet to be detected." There was an uneasy shame in her voice as she betrayed the limited capacity of the League, an organization that had been entrusted to maintain peace and harmony in Valoran.
Jayce puts a grasp on his hammer protectively, as if the void invasion could happen this second. The thought of a terror to stop already had his mind thinking about anti-void devices.
"I'm sure we can stop them. At least, I know Piltover can."
The Hand of Noxus looked around the table, eying each of its denizens as though sizing them up - when Jayce spoke Darius looked to him "A true warrior... yes, Noxus will show no quarter, and forfeit no ground." His eyes shifted, staring at Tryndamere only long enough for him to break sight when the gaze was returned, though his head remained tilted in his direction "I can't say the same for... everyone I suppose."

For what I am concerned for is not “if we can stop the invasion” but how many losses we will have. I find this lack or information quite disturbing. I think we should send a group to Icathia in order to do recognizance and recolecte whatever we can get from it.

Caitlyn pointed at Singed, "I dislike you severely, Singed, no offense, but I think that is a good idea. We need some more visual reports, investigation, we need information detailed to us. Instead of sitting around and waiting, we need to try and be proactive. High General Swain, correct me if I'm wrong, but is the best defense a good offense? If we stay in place, then we are more than likely to be killed in our homes."
The sheriff drummed her fingers against one another, "Now the only problem is to convince the city-states to work together. Would Demacia be willing to work with Noxus? Would Ionia be willing to trust Noxus? Would the Freljords be willing to trust Noxus? Would Piltover actually want to be on the same ground as those of Zaunites? Mutual destruction is one thing, but once unified against a force such as this, a lot of discrepancies can be had. Correct me if I'm wrong, please, because I would prefer being wrong for once."
Darius' face contorted with disgust, and he turned to Caitlin, lifting one massive gauntlet and pointing mockingly at her "Sheriff..." he paused, eyes sinking momentarily with boredom "...no offense, I don't like you - and you're wrong." He felt the eyes of the room burn into him, and he found the pair that belonged to Xin Xiao, returning the electricity with a low growl "I would cut myself down, with my own axe," a fire ignited in his voice as passion overtook him "...before I would EVER stand beside a DEMACIAN in combat."

Knowing all too well she is late to the meeting, Poppy sighs as she enters. She glances through the crowd gathered before taking her seat and turning to the summoner leading the meeting.
"Apologies for being late, I was in a meeting when I received the invitation. Have I missed anything of importance?"

Swain gave a snort of exasperation, rolled his burning eyes. "Despite what my subordinate boasts, the official position of Noxian High Command is that we will act in accordance with the greater good of Valoran. We will proudly stand united against these invaders." The general leaned forward as he made this proclamation, hands clasped before him, face alight with intensity. "Regardless of our countries of origin, we are all peoples of Valoran. If anything, this threat will strengthen us."

Vera inclined her head in a small bow to Poppy as the Ambassador entered. She did not speak, but instead motioned to an empty chair beside Mayor Jadefellow as Noxus' Grand General said his piece.
"It is our hope," she replied quietly, "that all peoples of Valoran echo that sentiment." Then she turned to Caitlyn. "It is the will of the League that I obtain champion volunteers for such a foray into volatile territory. So." She paused, shifting her weight uneasily from one foot to the other. "Who among you would be willing to venture into Icathia?"

"Icathia? I presume this is about something related to the 'Void' Malzahar preaches about. What exactly has happened that would make the League wish an expedition there?"
Not having been present for the reason of the meeting, Poppy raises an eyebrow in her seat, arms crossed and Whomper tied to her back.
"I would rather know the whole situation before proceeding to volunteer into any sort of expedition."
The door opens for the umpteenth time, and none too gently as Warwick's blue form enters. He stares around at those gathered for a moment, Noxus, Zaun, Ionia, Frelijord, Demacia, Piltover, even the midgets of Bandle City were here. The tension was evident, he could smell the contempt from here. "Hmph" he scoffed, carrying a message to any potential reproaching looks. "I'm late, deal with it."
He made his way up the back rows, flexing his claws slightly as he moved past Shen and Akali's seats, just enough to create an audible noise of metal scraping. He finally sat near Singed, motioning with a claw for his old friend to fill him in.

Teemo, who'd been silent and listening quite well the whole time, turns to Poppy to speak to her quietly.
"Cho'gath got out, and the League isn't quite sure why. They're going to try and investigate more, in case there is a serious threat approaching."
He then turns and speaks up, mostly for Vera to hear.
"One of Malzahar's pets showed up at Rumble's workshop not too long ago, and for no apparent reason. This is probably worth checking into, especially since I haven't had an opportunity to visit Icathia yet and map out its territory. I volunteer to join this party."
