"...What did you particularly have in mind? And must you wear that helmet as we leave? You can leave it within my room if you wish, I promise no one will touch it. It's just somewhat intimidating. But do as you will." Daichi stood as well, moving towards the door.

"I planned to question Irelia, or someone there... at least see if anyone knows anything." Kayle replied, she then blinked when he mentioned her helmet. "....Okay." She replied simply, slipping it off and sitting it by the door. "Shall we go?"

"One of the other Ionian representatives may be available to speak to. The Kinkou have their hands in other matters. I don't know off the top of my head what any of them are doing..." Daichi admitted as he opened the door and stepped out and glanced towards her.
"What's wrong with walking about without the helmet? Sometimes it helps to remind those around you that there is someone beneath the armor." Once she left, he locked the door behind them and headed towards the exit of the dormitories.
"What's your opinion on the state of Noxus? Their succession and all that... Do you think it's ill? I don't know many opinions on the matter... The world isn't exactly in the best state right now."

"I see." Kayle replied, watching the young man open the door. She stood up, shifting slightly in her armor as her wings stretched out once more. "Though... it does strike me as a tad surprising. If they were to attack Ionia next, wouldn't the Kinkou interfere? Or at least try to figure out if it's true or not?" Kayle said, frowning slightly.
Kayle looked back at her helmet, then to him. "My armor is a part of me. I've wore it all for thousands of years." Kayle sighed. "Sometimes even I do not believe there is anyone under this armor." Kayle followed him out of the room and out of the dormitories.
"Noxus?" Kayle said, furrowing her brows slightly. "Certainly isn't the most respectable nation.. though, they have done nothing to impede justice... that I know of." Kayle walked out onto the grass just out side of the Institute. She looked up at the sky and closed her eyes for a moment before walking over to Daichi and wrapping an arm around his waist, pulling him close to her.
"Hold on." She said, as she crouched slightly before leaping into the air, her wings causing her to shoot straight into the sky. Once they were well above the ground, Kayle headed in the direction of Ionia.

"I'm sure they will do everything in their power to stop the Void but right now their priorities are probably else where. The least they'd expect is probably an extra dimensional rift tearing the barrier or reality." A sigh came from her and the Ionian raised his eyebrow as she sighed and commented upon her own opinion.
"Yes justice is harsh but you need remember that there i-" He paused when she moved directly behind him, grasping him by the waist of all things. The young Ionians mouth went slightly agape. "...What on earth are you do-" He was asked to hold on as he was pulled closer. If not for the armor, he may have turned a bit red due to the sudden and unexpected closeness. She then took off, the Ionian clung tightly against her to stop himself from falling though her own grasp was plenty tight.
"...You know um...Er...nevermind." There were better ways but then he thought the other way about suggesting them.

"Hmm? What is it?" Kayle asked, looking down at the man she was holding in her arms, raising an eyebrow slightly as they soared through the air. The clouds rushed past the two, the wind causing Kayle's hair to whip rapidly around her face. She squinted her eyes a little as her wings continued to carry them on.

"...Don't worry about it. Flying is fine too. Just don't drop me. I lack wings, as you can see." Daichi commented as he closed eyes and kept his grip upon her arms. He calmed down quite a bit, he'd strike conversation if not for the whipping wind about his person or his focus on falling.

Kayle continued to soar over head of everything. She was silent... she didn't know what else to talk about. So, her mind did what it often did when silence surrounded her... it wandered. Kayle closed her eyes for a moment, the smiling faces of her people greeting her in the only solace she had. "HELP!" Kayle's eyes shot open as her head quickly looked back down. "HELP!!" Her eyes frantically searched below them until she spotted it... a trade caravan, being pillaged by bandits. Kayle's eyes narrowed before she shot like a bullet towards the site.
Kayle landed just behind the trees of where the act was taking place. "Stay here." She ordered Daichi as she sat him on his feet. She then looked out at the scene. A woman, a man, and child... the child and woman hiding behind the man as he protected them. A dozen bandits surrounded them. "I said give us the woman.." one of them said, sword in hand. The man protecting his family went to speak, however, his gaze, as well as all the others, fell on Kayle. The Judicator walked out from the trees, glaring at the bandits. Their faces went white with terror.
"Leave or perish." Kayle said, still glaring at the men. Nearly half of them took off running right that second. However, one was foolish enough to charge the Judicator with a sword. Kayle simply stared the man down as he ran. The bandit let out a growl as he swung his sword at Kayle's head, however, Kayle simply threw up her arm... and the blade completely shattered against her armor.
The bandit stood dumbfounded as he began to back away. Kayle's hand shot out and wrapped around the bandit's throat, easily lifting him off the ground. "I said leave." Kayle growled before she tossed the bandit to the earth. The man quickly scrambled to his feet and darted off into the woods. "And do not let me see your faces again." Kayle called after them.
Only when the bandits were completely out of her sight did she turn to the family. They all stood there, mouth agape, half-way in awe of their guardian angel. "T-Thank you.. Judicator." The woman stammered out. Kayle gave them a nod before they started to load their things again.
Kayle then made her way back to Daichi and took him in her arms again, shooting off into the sky once more.

Daichi had nearly dozed off but was suddenly stirred by the sudden jolt to action. Before he could gather what occurred the summoner was placed upon the ground and witnessed banditry. It happened in the country side and wasn't a terrible problem for those who could defend themselves. However, these people appeared to lack the means.
Daichi watched the sight with indifference. Would she spill blood? Personally, Daichi didn't care and felt rather eager to test something on a living target. They were scum anyway, they belonged beneath his heel or below it. In the ground. But they fled with their tails between their legs.
He rolled his eyes at their cowardice. Kayle was lucky Daichi hadn't handled the situation. There'd be more corpses. As she approached him from behind, Daichi reclined into her and closed his eyes.
"You're far more merciful than I would have been. They don't deserve compassion. Was it the lack of helmet?" Daichi couldn't help but chuckle. Mercy; he supposed there was someone in the armor.

Kayle was silent for a moment before she answered him. "I do not kill unless it's a necessity." Kayle replied, frowning slightly. "I do not believe they will attempt the same... fear is a powerful weapon." Kayle went on to say, her wings flapping every now and then. Mercy... the word struck her as strange... She sighed, rarely did she have the luxury of showing it.
Kayle simply remained silent afterwards, still flying on towards Ionia.

"...Smile a little. You look better with a smile." Daichi stated. He didn't need to look at her to realize that her tone indicated she was frowning. She always seemed to be frowning beneath that helmet. It was a shame.
"What's done is done for now, focus on the present. It wouldn't kill you to lighten the mood a little with a smile and...maybe something pleasant to talk about...maybe?" It was either that or fall asleep in her arms, he trusted her to not drop him.

Kayle looked down at him and shook her head. "There is nothing to smile about right now." She replied, continuing to fly. When he mentioned something to talk about, she furrowed her brows slightly. "What's there to talk about?" She replied, tilting her head to the side slightly.

"Do you really need a reason to smile? The world is dark, awful and cruel. Freljord is in a shambles, Demacia is in a bad place. Ionia is under threat. The League has been compromised. Noxus is isolating itself and may start war. And all our demons remain, unchanged by any of this. And yet, I still see people laughing and enjoying themselves despite it all. Yes, you may think there's no reason to smile but I know there's more to you then an armor clad warrior of justice." Daichi paused.
"There's a pretty and bright face beneath the helmet and someone who won't turn a blind eye to the problems of the people. That and attitude goes a long way. Just smile a little. It won't kill you."

Kayle simply listened to him talk, his words running through her mind, causing a scowl to form on her face. Kayle descended once more, landing on the grassy ground and sitting him down in front of her, folding her arms over her chest. "I realize you are just trying to make me feel better, but let me explain something to you. I have been at war for over ten thousand." Kayle said, pausing for a moment.
"That is one-hundred times your lifetime. All of it, either spent training for war, or participating in it. Not only with the evils of this world, but with my own people..." Kayle paused once more. "With my own sister.." This was the first time, in a long time, that Kayle refereed to Morgana as her sister.
"So... please... if you would refrain from lecturing me on how I need to smile, I would be grateful."

Daichi was set upon the ground and talked down to. He kept a neutral expression upon his face and listened carefully. When she was done Daichi spoke up.
"Zed murdered everyone I ever knew. My family included. I watched my father and mother die in front of me. I was powerless to do anything. At a young age, I watched a foreign country massacre my people for seven years and after land was stolen from them, people stolen. I have no one in this world. I joined the Institute of War out of guilt so I did not need to remain with an organization I wanted nothing to do with. The only thing keeping me going day to day is the drive to become stronger, better. I cannot fathom what ten thousand years is like because at the very most I have eighty left. And even then i will not have youth. I will age and wither away; I will come and go like the Mayfly does while you remain, unchanged."
Daichi kept a straight face. His tone never changed. "I will find a reason to smile even if there is no other reason than to smile. Sometimes." His lips upturned upwards into a bright grin. "Attitude is all I have."
