Kayle shook her head and sighed. "I wish I shared your same optimism, I really do." Kayle replied, wrapping an arm around him once more and taking off into the sky. "We're almost there." She said, soaring across the sky once more. Perhaps there was something to his words though... perhaps she did need to smile from time to time...

"It's your life Kayle. Do as you wish, I know I shall." Daichi gripped her armor again and grimaced a bit. He felt a bit sore, being pressed against armor for hours on end.
"Don't take this the wrong way, but being pressed against armor for a few hours does hell on the back." He groaned in protest. "Next time, lose the armor or get me some cushioning."

Kayle remained silent throughout the rest of the flight, mulling over his words in her mind. She sighed and closed her eyes. "<Goho I farzm commah vorsg, vorsg iadnah. Casarm vorsg noan.>" (It is up to you, you know. Whom you become.) The words of her mother... the only thing of her that Kayle vaguely remembered. Kayle opened her eyes once more. What kind of person did she want to be? Did she even have a choice in the matter? Kayle sighed once more and shook her head.
Though... the faint memory of her home did allow a smile to grace her face, if only for a moment.

Daichi didn't know the words she spoke...but they had a certain rhythmic tone to it that was beautiful in itself. He concluded it must be the language of her home world. He glanced to her with a puzzled expression, if only to see a smile on her own face. Without her helmet it was easy enough. He turned away from her and kept his own deposition cheery. He supposed that would be okay for now.

Kayle noticed his expression in her peripheral vision. She looked on as the flew, remaining silent for a long moment before finally speaking. "It is up to you, you know. Whom you become." She said, translating what she had previously said to him. "My mother use to tell me that." It wasn't long before the country of Ionia came into view, and Kayle began her decent towards it.
