November 3rd, 23 CLE
Demacia, the Golden City. The citystate whose people seemed to think themselves to be the shining jewel of good and righteousness. Humans were always so amusing, Fizz thought to himself as he looked at the city from a nearby hill. So many conflicts, so many wars. They were more interesting than his own people had ever been in that regard, but none of the human nations were as interesting to him as those back in Bilgewater. This'd be a fun visit though, no doubt they'd be suspicious of him if they knew of him and his reputation.
So, it'd be appropriate to make one's entrance reflect that, make it unusual. If they thought of him in a suspicious manner, why not make the first impression be unlike most who enter as well. Seeing a broken down cart nearby, no doubt one that had been ransacked by bandits long ago and left there, he gets an idea. He takes one of the wheels that have fallen off, and inspects it. Not too rotten, should be able to handle the stress, excellent.
He rolls it to the edge of the hill, and hops on it, pushing it over the edge while he balances on top of it. As it rolls down, picking up speed, Fizz laughs and manages to stay on top of it. As it gets closer to the bottom, he hops off and lets the wheel roll forwards. As the hill comes to an end, there is a slight incline upwards, which launches the wheel towards the gates, the weakened insides of it shattering on impact as it hits the ground, leaving bits and pieces of wood in a small area near the gate.
He then walks on over, spinning his trident for a moment before placing it against his shoulder as he reaches the gates. He looks up at the guards, grinning wildly with his shark-like teeth, the single golden ring hanging in one of his ears glinting in the sunlight.
Hey there, would it be possible for me to come over for a visit? I hope I ain't on your "most wanted" list or anythin', it ain't like I've been causin' trouble here in the past.

Beneath the waving Demacian banner of blue and gold, polished helms gleamed in the sunshine from atop the high walls, and the heavy gate stood ajar by a gap of ten feet. Here traders and caravans of travelers could enter the city, inspected by the watchful eyes of the west gate regiment. They would have seen the trickster coming, but little response was given to his question. The guard captain stood at the entryway and said simply "Approach." They had a code to follow, and these were the formalities. The city soldiers stood impassively as they waited to receive their guest, and all that was looked out of place was the broken wheel. The wooden spokes and bits would be cleaned away after. No mess would be left littering the road in view of the gate. Not here.

Gee, could ya be any more borin' guys? Whatever you say...
Fizz chuckles a bit and walks on closer, seemingly carrying absolutely nothing outside his trident. The weapon seems to be just an ornate, yet ordinary trident, even though those he had fought on the Fields would know better than that.
So, what's the whole deal? What do I gotta do here?
He sticks the trident to the ground and quickly jumps on it, balancing on the top of it upside down as he often does. Compared to the guards following procedure and being strictly disciplined, the Trickster seemed like a spontaneous, impatient child, but those who knew him knew that it was a front you shouldn't be fooled by.
Well, ya gonna speak or will I have to wait for the tide to turn again?
He quickly spins around and now stands upright, his foot curled around the handle of the trident, having no trouble balancing himself on the weapon.

The Captain of the guard stepped forward, his helmet under one arm as he looked down at the new arrival with an expression of annoyed severity. The guards stood at their posts, looking straight ahead. They would stand on ceremony.
"Fizz", the captain said, the lack of last name or origin an annoyance. "Champion of the League of Legends. As you enter the city gates, you are subject and welcome to the laws and protections of the King. Do you understand?"
His face was solemn with a close cropped beard and short black hair. He stood stiffly with his hand at his side. The breastplates of the men shone like mirrors. The formal guard reflected the pride and the discipline of the Demacian people. There were well trained, well equipped, and well aware of the reputation of this Champion. The captain stared at Fizz expectantly.

Ya, I understand. I don't know most of yer laws though, it's not like people over in Bilgewater read books or such.
Fizz chuckles a bit, dropping from the trident and pulling it up from the ground again. He looks up at the guards and blinks, his eyelids moving from down to up in an unusual looking way.
Pirates can lighten up the mood pretty well with bar fights, but most of 'em don't even know how to read.
The trident glows slightly for a moment, and it seems as if the dry spots in Fizz's skins suddenly vanished. He keeps grinning constantly, seeming amused by the strict procedures of the guards.

The man only shook his head and sighed. "Don't harm my people, don't steal, and don't cause trouble like that." He gestured to the broken wagon wheel strewn about. Then he whistled with two fingers to his lip, high and short, and two guards who were waiting inside the door went out to dispose of it. He watched them go, then looked back down to Fizz. "Follow that an we shouldn't have any problems." He stood aside saluting hand to heart.
"Welcome to the City."
The gates were open to him, and perhaps to the shorter creature the grand scale of the roads and city structures seemed even grander. There was a garrison, immediately inside the gate, where soldiers stood at the ready. The streets bustled with activity, wagons and people moving quickly as they wished over the stone roadway. White walls varied buildings and polished brass lamp posts ran along the streets. Painted signs and colorful windows displayed the shops wares from food to farming tools, from clothing to fine horses. Everything the city needed moved along these roads, all the way from the humble houses of the peasants to the terraced gardens and manors of the nobility. All the way the city center, to the royal palace.

Ya, well, just because I live in Bilgewater don't mean I do things like that. I don't steal and I don't hurt people... not in any permanent fashion at least.
Fizz grins once more and takes a quick look through the gates. So posh, so grand, so pretentious. So, in a way, it was like home back beneath the waves before it fell. Except these people knew more than just sitting in comfort behind the walls. Still, boring looking compared to Bilgewater.
At the gesture about following one's heart, Fizz shrugs a bit. His heart wasn't probably in the same place as it was with the landdwellers, it wasn't like he had stuck around to listen to the education back in the fortress home of his kind. Had been much more fun to seek trouble outside the walls for him.
So, he walks through the gates and into the streets. He was probably a new sight for many, and hopefully wouldn't be crowded in children in moments as he heads to the main square, looking around with a toothy grin and a look mixed with his playful spirit, and his fierce predatory nature. This would be an interesting journey no doubt... perhaps he could check out how these people fought in comparison to those back on Blue Flame Island. Probably with more discipline, and better trained, which made fights harder, but often more dull to him. Near the square, he stops and turns to look up at the walls and guard towers. He had heard that a certain creature of stone lived somewhere in there... could be an interesting one to visit...

The Half-Dragon moved through the streets of Demacia, her armor glimmering in the sun light. Looking up into the sky she frowned a bit, it was getting colder, she didn't like the cold. Shyvana looked down on and kept walking, holding her gauntlets hanging in a rope in her left hand. Her thoughts trailed off a bit as she began thinking of relatively recent events. Being lost in her own thoughts she doesn't really care when she sees Fizz at first, but when she realizes who it is and where he is she stops in her tracks.
Turning around and walking up behind him she follows him for a bit before speaking, "I hope you are not planning on doing anything stupid, little thing...." She said calmly and looked down on him with her arms loosely folded across her chest, knowing pretty well about this small beings playful nature.

Fizz merely keeps grinning as Shyvana talks to him, the sharp teeth glinting in the sunlight.
Well I never do things I consider stupid so... ain't plannin' on doin' 'em.
He knew the Half-Dragon had somewhat of an anger problem, it seemed like pure fury was what caused her changes on the Rift after all. He shakes his head, his ears flopping from side to side and the ring in one of them shines in the sunlight.
Y'all land dwellers are predictable. Always actin' like I do nothin' else but prank and annoy folks. I just do it because it's easier up here than it was down in the great Deeps of the sea. And y'all react better as well.
He sticks the trident into the street tiles and nimbly leaps up, balancing on top and leaning his elbows to his knees. He stares at Shyvana's face with a predatory look, his aqua blue eyes blinking in a weird looking manner now and then.

Shyvana tilted her head and looked up on Fizz as he jumped up on that stick of his, she wondered what he'd taste like if roasted.
"Your definition of stupid and our definition is quite different, little thing."
The Half-Dragon looked at the stick, it couldn't be that special, it was just a stick with other sticks on it. Not like the spears she had seen Jarvan and Xin Zhao been using. No, Fizz's trident is a stick with other sticks on it. She blinked as she was asked something, just barely catching what he was saying.
"Nothing is up in 'Ol' Justice-Ville' and I am not Shyvvie. Things are good here in Demacia, albeit a bit cold."
She commented, she didn't like nicknames, at least not given to her by those who she found annoying and bothersome. She felt herself getting more and more agitated on the small fish yordle, taking deeper breaths while she waits for his response.

The Trident wasn't merely a stick on other sticks however, as it was made of a single block of pure seastone. The glyphs on it glow for a moment, constantly keeping the aquatic creature's skin constantly moisturized. Fizz's grin doesn't seem to fade, amused by how easily the dragoness is irritated.
Ya think this is cold? Ya should see how cold it is in the bottom of the sea, and it ain't ever getting any warmer there.
He quickly spins around the trident and stands back on the ground, pulling the weapon from the street tiles. This would get interesting soon if Shyvana couldn't control her temper, they were in a fairly crowded place after all, and it wouldn't be good if a champion of the city caused trouble by attacking someone who'd done nothing wrong in the eyes of the law, now would it?
B'sides, I ain't as stupid as ya think. I'm a nice guy really, I just like Bilgewater's atmosphere, people don't take stuff too seriously 'round there. And they kinda know to respect me, I saved the town after all a long while back.

The Half-Dragon's breathing slowed down as she took deeper breaths, the Trickster's attitude was just so annoying. If any on the previous incidents had taught her it was to not get angry within the city. Specially not here.
"Good for you, little thing. Now, why are you here? Don't try to pull some trick on me, I know how you act."
Shyvana just wanted to grab him and tear him apart, but that would be bad for her. She sighed and unfolded her arms and looked at Fizz again. His very presence annoyed her, everything about him was so annoying. Leaning on her hip she looked around them before looking back at him.
"Look, I don't have time to speak with you, little thing. So if you have anything to say before I leave, spill it."

What, I can't go on a trip without gettin' a dragon on my behind? Geesh, I come here without any intentions of any mayhem or such, without anythin' with me, and this is how ya treat me? And I thought this place was supposed to be just, not one to blame others on stuff they ain't even done.
Fizz shakes his head, turning around towards a street leading towards the military sector of the city, the barracks, and not even looking back. Whether Shyvana were to follow or not, didn't matter to him. He didn't feel like the Dragoness would be worth messing with, too big risk for too little reward.
People were turning their heads and looking at him in confusion and curiousity, most had never seen one of his kind, for obvious reasons, and even those who had seen him in broadcasted League matches knew just about nothing about him. Fizz kept a close eye on people as he made his way through, weaving through crowds with so little effort it seemed like they weren't even there.
Still wearing his devious grin and the predatory look in his eyes, he seemed less playful and more on the hunt in the moment. Perhaps there would be something... or someone, who'd want to fight. Barfights were his main entertainment in Bilgewater, and seeing how these so-called soldiers of justice and righteousness fought would be an interesting thing... especially since their enemies, the Noxians, were interested in Bilgewater's services in the past, and could be again in the future.

Crowds thinned from a humming throng to a steady stream of pedestrians, all of which eyed the trickster with some mixture of caution and fascination. A small, wet, light blue creature, famous for fighting with the strongest fighters from across Valoran wouldn't go unnoticed here. Sure there were people who waved and pointed, but most kept their distance. Soldiers in shining greaves and helms stood on every street corner, watching. The blue visitor caught their attention and upped their alertness.
The shops and restaurants thinned into an industrial area of the city as the Bildgewater water breather walked toward the west barracks. An acrid smell hinted at forges and metalworks. Marching quickly by a group or soldiers turned their heads but kept going. In the distance, an armed gate grew closer. Two blocks ahead of it a pair of taverns facing opposite one another. The sun still shone overhead, but each was open.

Fizz keeps walking forward on the streets, not really seeming to care about the prying eyes of the townspeople, after all he had seen similar expressions when he first entered the port of Bilgewater. The humans were the same everywhere in that way. Two buildings that remotely seemed like the bars of Bilgewater were right on his path... probably way less interesting than those in Bilgewater... but perhaps they were worth checking out. So, he heads inside the one on his left and looks around for a moment before hopping nimbly onto a barstool, grinning at the barkeep.
Well 'ello there, what'd ya serve in this bar o' yours?
