James had just bought the Poro and thought he was going to get away before Shyvana noticed him. He froze, but quickly and silently came up to Shyvana. "Oh. Hello ma'am." He gave her a quick salute. "I'm off duty, but I can do a favor."
He then saw her turn to Liana and mention a bodyguard. He quickly guessed what the 'favor' was going to be. "Uh, ma'am. If I may be so bold...I'm not sure I'm qualified to be a bodyguard." He stepped forwards, adjusting his scarf slightly. "Not that it wouldn't be pleasant, ma'am," he remarked to Liana politely, "but..." He trailed off, realizing how silly he sounded.
I will meet one someday...and that day will either be the best or worst day of my life.

Liana blushed at Garen's comment about her name rhyming with Shyvana though she honestly didn't think it did. Shyvana then called another person to the scene, then mentioned something about a body guard. "I um... no I don't think I had a body guard before."

Shyvana nodded at James, a favor would be enough. The Half-Dragon looked at Liana with a smile before speaking to James, not moving her eyes away from Liana. "Okay then, James Marker, I want you to escort Liana for the day. I will make sure that you are payed for the inconvenience it may cause you."
Shyvana smiled and turned around to look at Garen, standing quiet for a moment before turning around again. "Oh and James, you're dismissed. Liana, this man will be your escort for the day. Now, if you excuse me." Shyvana turned around again and smiled at Garen. "Now, what do you think Jarvan would appreciate?"

James nodded. "No need to pay me, ma'am. A favor is a favor." He turned to Liana and gave a small bow. "Pleasure to meet you miss...Liana? I am James." With a small smile, he stood besides her. "Where are we headed, ma'am? I'll follow besides you." He hoped this would be at least a bit fun; otherwise, he'd really have to milk this favor from Shyvana.

"I believe he would appreciate anything that was picked out of your own decision." Garen said politely, believing that Jarvan would most likely appreciate something from Shyvana on her own accord, and not from Garen's influence. If anything, he most likely did not want to see Garen. If it hadn't been for Garen's misplaced decisions, he would have been there to secure Jarvan III's life.
"If I were in your shoes, I'd get him a nice hair brush. His hair is one of his trademark looks." Garen spoke, as if remembering times when Jarvan and himself were just young adults.

Liana stared a little frightened by the idea of having a body guard."I...uh " She lost the will to speak as she swallowed a lump in her throat as the man took a position next to her. "u-um hi... James" She stuttered clearly nervous and not even making eye contact with the man. "I-I was just looking for gifts."

James gave Liana a small nod. "So was I; my mother may want more than this." He held up the Poro plushie slightly before putting it in his satchel. "Would you like some help? Maybe I could carry anything you buy, or the like." He shuffled besides her, not trying to catch her eye too much and obviously just as awkward as she was.

"I uh... yes I guess you could do that" Liana muttered shyly as she took a look at a small stall which was selling Poro's as pets. "do... do you think poro's are safe as pets?" she asked noting a poro that stuck its tongue out after a few seconds at her and she blushed and smiled at the small fur ball.

James looked at the Poro that was smiling in its cage and chuckled a bit. "Well, I suppose. They aren't messy, don't eat much besides Poro Snax, are friendly, and can do well in most weather." He crouched besides the display. "I would own one if I had more time, that's for certain." He got back up and went to his first position besides her.

The Poro's did look kind of cute but the price for one didn't really seem all that forgiving. "I guess transporting them here cost to much for having an affordable price." Liana said as if she had completely forgotten James was standing there next to her.

James gave her a small shrug. "Pity. They look very adorable." He adjusted his scarf slightly. "If you need a gift that badly, I suppose I could chip in to buy a Poro with you. Of course, we could always just move on." He didn't seem to be in much of a hurry.

James nodded in reply and fell in step behind Liana. He paused for a moment as she looked at the trinkets. "...if you don't mind me asking, who are you shopping for?" He stood behind her with his arms behind his back, standing politely and quietly in the snow.
