"The Noxian mindset of might makes right tends to make them open to the ways of the Shadow Arts. Yes, I am training them to see if they truly can handle the arts." He paused and watched one of the many spars happening, "We walk a dark path, filled with power than calls to the inhuman parts of the mind and seeks to bring it to the surface. We know this, we embrace this. To fight with only the aim to obtain power will no doubt cause one to succumb to the darkness and be mastered by it, not the other way around as it should be. Noxian ideals tend to make them prone to this corruption of the mind, I only train those I deem capable of resisting."
As Zed fell silent he frowned and glanced to the bisento that was creating the sound of wind, he simply looked to J for an explanation without saying a word about it.

Ti-Dez was not amused by what he had been witnessing, first J had gone to see a master that taught that ninja's the 'art' if you could even call it that, of shadows. And not only that he had gone to these shadow users in the dead of night and was unwilling to wield him as he ventured into their territory, but when the ancient bisento saw the Noxians he decided that something had to be done. He conjured a brief force of wind and sent it under J that put him a few feet in the air and then dropped him, hard.
Needless to say J only sighed as the bisento acted out and 'punished' him for taking this course of action, though his sigh wasn't directed at Ti-Dez, it was more to the fact that it had decided to do this while in the middle of all of them and looking like a fool in the process. Though that didn't finish the bisento's course of action, it quickly loosed itself from J's back and moved with the wind in front of the downed Windseeker and spoke briefly before flying back to it's usual place on his back.
"Your attempt at 'progression' in training by coming here with these ninja and Noxians is sickening, consider these my last words till you are ready to take your responsibility seriously." It's voice unable to be clearly identified yet still comprehend-able by those who were lucky enough to witness this moment.
J kept his face on the ground for a few moments before picking himself up and looking to Zed with a frown "That would be MY teacher expressing his dissatisfaction with my choice of coming here, I apologize for it's outburst."

It seemed the Noxians were too engrossed by the martial art to pay much attention to the visit and thus missed the display. However, some of the ninja had seen what had occurred and simply watched curiously, their expressions obscured by the masks they wore to hid their features from one another. Many of the ninja turned away while others, like their Noxian visitors, had missed it as well. The crimson behind Zed's mask narrowed, "Your teacher's spirit is within the weapon? Or is it the weapon itself?" The Master of Shadows found himself intrigued by the traveler and the weapons that seemed to be his mentor, however he was more annoyed by the fact that whatever was within the weapon seemed to not take the shadow arts seriously and was more than prepared to show what the arts were capable of.

J took a second to carefully gather his thoughts before explaining to Zed exactly what he was carrying, he'd been told the origins of the bisento once and didn't think anyone would actually be curious of it's origins.
"The answer to your question is yes. A master of the wind long ago made this weapon for his students, but when he died his spirit flowed into it and guides everyone that holds it from master to apprentice in a supposed never ending cycle, my brother was the last master it had and when I took possession of it I became the next in line."

Zed folded his arms as he listened to the explanation, it was certainly something to look into, keeping ones spirit around after their life is extinguished without the use of necromancy. "Your brother does not find the shadow arts to be a serious discipline?" His eyes narrowed at the weapon the boy had, his hands curled into fists within his folded arms as his own arrogance and pride guiding his next words, "Perhaps it would be useful to show him what a Master of Shadows is capable of." Around them the already dark of the night seemed to intensify, the moon itself looked to dull it's own light as in fear of Zed's words.

"I suppose not..." Was all J managed to get out before Zed turned the area around them even darker, though with this the bisento simply did nothing. Was it unimpressed? Possibly.

The darkness remained around them, an unintended side-effect of Zed's emotion. His eyes smouldered as he glared at the weapon who he believed had dared to insinuate that the Shadow Arts weren't to be taken seriously. He knew it was a dead spirit that was questioning it and that it held very little impact on Zed and the order as a whole about what it thought. But it still rubbed him the wrong way, "Moving on." He growled, seeming to relax ever so slightly, "And am curious about the strength of the wind arts.."

Luckily it would appear the changing of their surroundings was not a sign of hostility, at the present moment anyway. He was fairly certain the threat of Ti-Dez springing to 'life' and harassing him wouldn't rise again though, but with this weapon he was never really 100% sure.
"I would be more than willing to explain my technique, it would be the least I can do to show my gratitude in being allowed entry here."

Zed began to walk once more and gestured for J to follow. The Master of Shadows walked slowly, enjoying the time out under the moon and in the dark surrounded by shadows. At J's willingness to discuss his art, the unnatural darkness faded, Zed nodded in approval, "Forgive my lack of hospitality. Perhaps we should go inside to discuss matters." he began to walk through the training courtyard, on either side of them there were various aspects of the training, from sparring to, numbing the nerves in their knuckles as they strike the wooden dummies all to reflex training with many kinds of gear.
Should J follow Zed they would soon find themselves on the opposite side, a large ornate arch greeting them as they came to where the biggest building on the grounds were. It was clear simply by the sheer size of it that it perhaps the most important temple here.

He nodded and followed silently, when they reached their destination of the arch and the large building. He was curious what would await them there and what purpose it served, it was bigger than most of the other structures he saw along the way here so he decided it would be easier to just ask and possibly prepare himself if it was indeed something of importance.
"What purpose does this part of the temple serve?" He asked curiously.

"This is where many of the old Kinkou artifacts were kept, along with where the Master and those of importance within the Order. The old Kinkou treasury, a library filled with scripture and history that the Kinkou recorded many things are housed within this place." The Master of Shadows walked up the stone steps that lead to a pair of opened heavy iron studded doors. The sheer size alone seemed to dwarf all others in the area making it seem more like a fortress than anything.

J followed Zed up the steps satisfied with the response, though as they reached the doors he thought that this place was more an armory than a relic holding museum.
He waited beside Zed for something to happen, maybe a password? Ninja's behind it that need recognition from the master for entry maybe? Regardless of how the doors would be opened he waited.

A heavy grating sounded from behind the door, usually the doors would be kept open at all times. Yet because of Akali's intrusion and destruction of many buildings in their attempt at freeing Riven, the doors were always to be closed only opened by Zed's command or on a schedule to allow teachers to their residences. Inefficient for those seeking to use the library or other utilities, but most understood.
Heavy iron rods slide free from the doors allowing them to swing open by an unseen mechanism, the doors rumbled outwards revealing a large (Almost ironically) well-lit hall, Zed stepped forwards across the threshold expecting J to follow him, "You stated you wished to learn of the Shadow Arts, what exactly do you want to know?" Zed spoke as they walked through the large corridor eventually leading to a fairly large, but sparse room. Two long heavy wooden tables stretched the length of the rooms, it seemed to be where many of those who lived within this building came to eat. Zed walked to the head of one of the tables and seated himself, gesturing for J to sit to his right. The sent of food could be smelled coming from nearby followed by a chorus of voices from the trainees as they came to eat.

J was shocked to alertness as the doors started to open, he hesitated a moment before following Zed cautiously. He kept his distance for now but could make out his request of what he wanted to know about the shadows, that answer was rather easy for him to answer surprisingly.
"What do I wish to learn? Anything you are willing to teach me, I intend to travel across this land carrying the knowledge of techniques bestowed upon me... passing them down to those who have the same thirst for knowledge and the old ways as I do."
He caught the scent of food fill through his nostrils as they came to what would appear to be a dining hall, he took the seat Zed gestured to and waited for the master of shadows thought of his goal.

Zed sat and contemplated what to do with the travelers answer, the Shadow Arts were indeed dangerous, he was under no illusion that they weren't. It was a dark path, often prone to leading people into a state of mind where sadistic thoughts reigned and logic was only used in the most morbid of ways, as students filled the hall, various foods were laid out upon the table for them. Fried Bee larvae and rice, sushi and many other Ionian foods all to be consumed. Zed gestured to the food, "A guest is treated no different than a clan member, please."
It seemed that none of the members paid the stranger any mind, simply accepting his presence without a word about him spoken other than the odd murmur or two about what had happened in the courtyard with his Bisento. If J chose to eat, Zed would wait until he had gathered himself some food before speaking, if not, Zed would speak after seeing J not move, "I will consider instructing you, if, you agree to the conditions I set."
